    Komparasi Hasil Belajar Siswa Antara Menggunakan Media Film Dan Panel Peraga Pada Kompetensi Sistem Penerangan Sepeda Motor

    Nelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui apakah hasil belajar siswa yang diterapkan media film lebih baik dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar yang diterapkan alat peraga sistem penerangan sepeda motor. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan pola Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini siswa Kelas XI TSM SMK Negeri 1 Tengaran, terdapat tiga kelas yang mengambil jurusan TSM dan jumlah populasinya sebanyak 110 siswa. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 35 siswa kelas XI TSM 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 35 siswa kelas XI TSM 3 sebagai kelas control. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes, analisis data menggunakan statistik deskripsidan uji t. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa pada kelas kontrol rata-rata hasil belajar pada tes pre-test mencapai 51,26 dan setelah diberikan media peraga meningkat menjadi 72,74, sehingga pada kelas kontrol setelah diberikan metode peraga mengalami peningkatan rata-rata mencapai 21,48 dan pada kelas eksperimen rata-rata hasil belajar pada tes pre-test mencapai 51,00 dan setelah diberikan media film meningkat menjadi 79,80, sehingga pada kelas eksperimen setelah diberikan metode film mengalami peningkatan rata-rata mencapai 28,80 lebih besar dari pada kelas kontrol yang hanya mencapai 21,48

    : The Contextualization of KH. Hasyim Asyari's View on the Muslim Unity. The Muslim unity is a logical consequence of religious teachings concerning the Muslim brotherhood (ukhuwah Islamiyâh). The diversity of the Muslim community has become a challenge for its application. In Indonesian, the diversity of mainstream school of thoughts, organizations, and parties have given rise to disintegration of the Muslim society. The internal conflicts that come out from various reasons is an evident of that disintegration. This paper analyzes KH. Hasyim Asyari's view concerning the Muslim unity. The authors find that the idea of the Muslim unity should be based upon faith and anti-fanatism. It reflects the concordance of faith and could be realized in anti-fanatism attitude in the Muslim society. The idea of KH Hasyim Asy`ari is perceived of utmost important, for it may become an alternative solution for the social problems

    A study of identification and assay of prednisone in rheumatic jamu. The aim of this study to identify the presence of Chemicals Drug (CD) in containing prednisone in rheumatic jamu with TLC-densitometry method. Samples extracted with Mesceration method using etanol 96% solvent by sonicator. Qualitative analysis using thin layer chromatography (TLC) with a mobile phase of chloroform : ethyl acetate (1 : 9) indicates that the sample A containing Prednison. Quantitative analysis using a TLC-densitometry at a maximum wave-length 254 nm. The result is one containing prednisone that suspected sample “A” is 475,421 µg/mL and the percentage is 4,754%

    One of the herb plants, purple Roselle flowers (Hibiscus sabdariffa L), used to traditionally for various diseases. The aim of this research is to determine the total phenolic content of ethanol extract of purple Roselle flowers. Sample as many one kilograms extracted by maceration method using ethanol 96%. Resulty 120 grams thick extract. Total phenolic content determined by UV-Vis spectrophotometer at wave leght 743 nm with gallic acid as standard reference with Folin-Ciocalteau reagent. The result show the rendamen of ethanolic extract 12% with total phenolic content 1.6726 %

    Tulisan ini membahas perihal hak kebebasan beragama dan berkeyakinan GKJW Jemaat Mojowarno Jombang. Mojowarno pada mulanya adalah desa Kristen dan tidak mengizinkan umat non-Kristiani tinggal dan menetap di desa itu. Desa ini pula pernah menjadi pusat penyebaran Kristen Protestan di Jawa Timur. Pertumbuhan penduduk memaksa Mojowarno menjadi desa yang terbuka bagi pemeluk agama lain. Berdasarkan statistik tahun 2011, pemeluk agama Kristen Protestan di Jombang hanya sekitar 1,2%, termasuk GKJW Jemaat Mojowarno. Sebagai kelompok minoritas, Jemaat GKJW Mojowarno mempunyai kerentanan atas tindakan intoleransi dan pelanggaran hak kebebasan beragama dan berkeyakinan. Sekalipun berada di tengah-tengah mayoritas Islam, hak kebebasan beragama dan berkeyakinan GKJW Jemaat Mojowarno tetap terpelihara dan terjamin. Komitmen individu atau kelompok yang mendorong sikap dan perilaku mereka dalam mewujudkan kehidupan bersama secara harmonis dan rukun dalam masyarakat Mojowarno. Mereka larut dalam kehidupan sosial, tetapi tidak hanyut dalam agama dan keyakinan yang berbeda. This paper discusses about the right to freedom of religion and belief GKJW Church Mojowarno Jombang. Mojowarno in the beginning was a Christian village, and do not allow non-Christians to stay and settle in the village. The village was also to be center of the spread of Protestant Christians in East Java. Population growth forced the village Mojowarno be open to other faiths. Based on the statistics of 2011, Protestant faiths in Jombang only about 1.2%, including GKJW Mojowarno Church. As a minority group, the Church has a vulnerability GKJW Mojowarno on acts of intolerance and violations of the right to freedom of religion and belief. Even being in the middle of the Moslem majority, the right to freedom of religion and belief GKJW Mojowarno congregation to be maintained and guaranteed. The commitment of individual or groups that encourage their attitudes and behavior in realizing life together in harmony and harmonious society Mojowarno. They dissolve in social life, but it does not drift in different religion and belief

    Anglerfish sebagai Inspirasi Penciptaan Karya Kriya Kayu

    Landasan penciptaan karya sekripsi ini adalah menciptakan karya seni kriya kayu dengan objek utama anglerfish. Hal ini dilatar belakangi oleh adanya ketertarikan penulis terhadap keunikan dari objek yang diangkat, baik itu dari segi anatomi seperti bentuk gigi dan kail pancing. Kail pancing bercahaya ada tepat berada atas kepala menjadi ciri khas dari jenis ikan tersebut, ataupun juga latar belakang kehidupan anglerfish itu sendiri. Mengingat bahwa anglerfish sendiri adalah salah satu jenis ikan yang hidup di laut dalam yang masih belum terekspose ke dunia luar sehingga masih banyak dari masyarakat awam belum mengenal jenis ikan tersebut.Selain itu dalam dunia kriya kayu, anglerfish jarang diangkat untuk dijadikan objek utama dalam penciptaan karya kriya kayu. Penciptaan karya kriya kayu menggunakan bahan kayu mahoni berupa papan atau lembaran, karena karya yang diciptakan penulis berupa relief (2-dimensi). Konsep karya dibuat dengan mendeformasi dari bentuk asli anglerfish tanpa meninggalkan ciri khas atau karakteristik dari ikan tersebut. Kata Kunci: kriya kayu, relief, anglerfis

    Microbiome profile associated with malignant pleural effusion.

    INTRODUCTION:There is ongoing research into the development of novel molecular markers that may complement fluid cytology malignant pleural effusion (MPE) diagnosis. In this exploratory pilot study, we hypothesized that there are distinct differences in the pleural fluid microbiome profile of malignant and non-malignant pleural diseases. METHOD:From a prospectively enrolled pleural fluid biorepository, samples of MPE were included. Non-MPE effusion were included as comparators. 16S rRNA gene V4 region amplicon sequencing was performed. Exact Sequence Variants (ESVs) were used for diversity analyses. The Shannon and Richness indices of alpha diversity and UniFrac beta diversity measures were tested for significance using permutational multivariate analysis of variance. Analyses of Composition of Microbiome was used to identify differentially abundant bacterial ESVs between the groups controlled for multiple hypothesis testing. RESULTS:38 patients with MPE and 9 with non-MPE were included. A subgroup of patients with metastatic adenocarcinoma histology were identified among MPE group (adenocarcinoma of lung origin (LA-MPE) = 11, breast origin (BA-MPE) = 11). MPE presented with significantly greater alpha diversity compared to non-MPE group. Within the MPE group, BA-MPE was more diverse compared to LA-MPE group. In multivariable analysis, ESVs belonging to family S24-7 and genera Allobaculum, Stenotrophomonas, and Epulopiscium were significantly enriched in the malignant group compared to the non-malignant group. CONCLUSION:Our results are the first to demonstrate a microbiome signature according to MPE and non-MPE. The role of microbiome in pleural effusion pathogenesis needs further exploration

    Uji Toksisitas Ekstrak Daun Pletekan (Ruellia Tuberosa L.) dengan Menggunakan Metode Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (Bslt)

    Minnie root (Ruellia tuberosa L.) belongs to Acanthaceae family. In traditional medicine has been used as diuretic, antidiabetic, antipyretic and antihypertensive and it also recently been incorporated as a component in a herbal tea in Taiwan. This research is aim to determine LC50 value of Minnie root leaves extract (Ruellia tuberosa L.) to Artemia salina Leach shrimp larvae. Dryed samples extracted by graduate maceration with n-hexan, ethyl acetate and ethanol respectively. Rendamen n-hexane extract obtained as much as 1.158%, ethyl acetate extract as much as 2.017% and ethanol extract as much as 3.669 %. Based on qualitative screening used TLC method, ethyl acetate extracts and ethanol extracts of Minnie root (Ruellia tuberosa L.) leaves contain alkaloid, saponin, flavonoid and phenolic compounds. Toxicity assay Artemia salina Leach shrimp larvae have been conducted on leaves extracts of Minnie root (Ruellia tuberosa L.). Toxicity assay on sample extract of Minnie root (Ruellia tuberosa L.) leaves determine by counting the number died of larvae after 24 hours treatment. LC50 on sample calculated by probit analysis method. The toxicity assay showed LC50 of ethyl acetate extracts and ethanol extracts are toxic with LC50 266.07 ± 0.93 µg/mL and 142.160 ± 1.30 µg/mL

    Deep Neural Networks Rival the Representation of Primate IT Cortex for Core Visual Object Recognition

    The primate visual system achieves remarkable visual object recognition performance even in brief presentations and under changes to object exemplar, geometric transformations, and background variation (a.k.a. core visual object recognition). This remarkable performance is mediated by the representation formed in inferior temporal (IT) cortex. In parallel, recent advances in machine learning have led to ever higher performing models of object recognition using artificial deep neural networks (DNNs). It remains unclear, however, whether the representational performance of DNNs rivals that of the brain. To accurately produce such a comparison, a major difficulty has been a unifying metric that accounts for experimental limitations such as the amount of noise, the number of neural recording sites, and the number trials, and computational limitations such as the complexity of the decoding classifier and the number of classifier training examples. In this work we perform a direct comparison that corrects for these experimental limitations and computational considerations. As part of our methodology, we propose an extension of "kernel analysis" that measures the generalization accuracy as a function of representational complexity. Our evaluations show that, unlike previous bio-inspired models, the latest DNNs rival the representational performance of IT cortex on this visual object recognition task. Furthermore, we show that models that perform well on measures of representational performance also perform well on measures of representational similarity to IT and on measures of predicting individual IT multi-unit responses. Whether these DNNs rely on computational mechanisms similar to the primate visual system is yet to be determined, but, unlike all previous bio-inspired models, that possibility cannot be ruled out merely on representational performance grounds.Comment: 35 pages, 12 figures, extends and expands upon arXiv:1301.353
