    Diagnostic Approach to Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease: the Role of GERD Questionnaire and PPI Test

    Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), according to American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), is symptoms or mucosal damage produced by abnormal reflux of gastric contents into the esophagus. In most patients with GERD, showed no abnormalities in the endoscopic picture. This is what underlies the importance of a diagnostic tool in the form of assessment for the degree of severity of the disease based on symptoms, response to therapy and effect on the patients\u27 quality of life. This diagnostic tool is then formulated in the form of a questionnaire (GERD Questionnaire). Response to treatment with proton pump inhibitor (PPI) drugs is also often used to support the diagnosis of this disease.DIAMOND study is a large study which aim to assess the accuration of the questionnaire and use of PPI test. Diagnostic method with questionnaire modality and followed by PPI test have sensitivity and specificity value, which are relatively similar to the symptoms-based diagnoses performed by general practitioners or gastroenterologist, as well as when compared to endoscopy and esophageal pH monitoring. Although the diagnosis by methods of questionnaires and PPI test is not the most ideal test in term of accuracy, but these tests are not expensive, readily available and worked mainly on primary health care.     Regenerasi eksplan pascatransformasi merupakan tahapan penting dalam transformasi tanaman. Oleh sebab itu, perlu didapatkan prosedur regenerasi eskplan kedelai yang optimal. Jenis eksplan yang digunakan adalah eksplan buku kotiledon dari kedelai kultivar Grobogan. Induksi kalus menggunakan kombinasi 2,4-D dan BAP, dengan konsentrasi masing-masing 2.0 mg/l, 3.0 mg/l, 4.0 mg/l dan 3.0 mg/l, 3.5 mg/l, dan 4.0 mg/l. Induksi tunas dilakukan menggunakan 3.0 mg/l, 3.5 mg/l, dan 4.0 mg/l BAP. Parameter yang diamati adalah persentase eksplan membentuk kalus, jumlah hari pembentukan kalus, morfologi dan warna kalus, persentase kalus membentuk tunas, jumlah hari pembentukan tunas, dan jumlah tunas yang dihasilkan. Kombinasi terbaik untuk menginduksi kalus pada eksplan buku kotiledon kedelai kultivar Grobogan adalah 4.0 mg/l 2,4-D dan 3.0 mg/l BAP.     This research is a developmental research which aims to produce computer-based learning media interactive tutorial model on the subject circle for class VIII SMP/ MTs that is valid and practical. This developmental research used development model based on the teory of Borg and Gall. The stages are: (1) potential and problem; (2) literature collection; (3) product design; (4) product validation; (5) product revision; (6) product tested; (7) product revision; (8) product tested in large group; (9) product revision. In the first stages, the researcher analyzed potentials and problems. After that, the researcher collected the reference materials, then designed the product and put it into a computer. The learning media that had been developed was be evaluated by three validators based on the aspects of learning, display, program and curriculum, and revised according to the advice of the validator. Next, the learning media that had been revised was be tested in two stages: product testing in small groups with the subject of five students of class VIII SMP Juara Pekanbaru and product testing in large groups with the subject of 25 students class VIII SMP Juara Pekanbaru. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the computer-based learning media interactive tutorial model for the subject circle class VIII SMP / MTs assessed valid by experts with an average value of 3.59 and received a very good response from students of class VII

    The effect of Korean wave on body image and eating disorders among female adolescents in Yogyakarta, Indonesia

    Background: Currently, Indonesia is one of the countries affected by the Korean "fever" due to the Korean wave's globalization through the media. The content of K-pop which displays model characteristics that are identical to a slender body, tall, and attractive, can lead to adolescent body image perception. The problem most often experienced by adolescents is physical appearance. The negative body image in adolescence could encourage the emergence of eating behavior disorders known as eating disorders. Objective: To analyze the relation between Korean wave exposure through media information with body image and eating disorders risk in female high school students in Yogyakarta. Methods: This research used the cross-sectional method with a quantitative approach. The research population was female first-grade high school students in Yogyakarta. The subjects of 109 female students who are qualified with the inclusion criteria: enrolled students in the selected schools, physically healthy, and willing to take part in the research; are requested to fill out the Korean wave exposure questionnaire to measure the type and frequency of exposure, the Contour Drawing Rating Scale questionnaire to measure the body image, and the Eating Attitude Test 26 to determine the eating disorders risk. Data were analyzed with the Chi-Square test and logistic regression test. Results: Univariate analysis showed that 11% of the subject was exposed to Korean wave with various type of exposure, 88.1% of the issue was dissatisfied with their body and developed negative body image, and 47.7% of the issue was at risk of eating disorders; 53% of them tend to developed diet behavior, 21.04% bulimia, and 25.96% was in oral intake restriction. The multivariate analysis showed that Korean wave exposure (RP=1.6; 95%CI=0.7-10.04) correlates significantly with negative body image perception. Eating disorders risk significantly affected by Korean wave exposure (RP=2.1; 95%CI=0.97-4.63) and body image (RP=2.93; 95%CI=1.25-5.49). Chi-Square analysis showed body image significantly correlates with eating disorders risk (RP=6.2; 95%CI=1.25-5.94). Conclusions: Exposure to Korean waves affected negative body image in female adolescents.     Kecamatan Gunungpati Semarang memiliki potensi untuk menjadi sentra pertanian kebun buah dan sayur organik salah satunya melalui kegiatan Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT). Namun selama ini, kegiatan yang ada di KWT dan hasil pertanian belum optimal. Hal ini dikarenakan belum efektifnya penataan tanaman di kebun pekarangan rumah, masih ada lahan kebun yang kosong belum dimanfaatkan, belum ada pembukuan kegiatan dan manajemen penjualan hasil pertanian, masih rendah difersifikasi hasil pertanian menjadi produk bernilai jual tinggi, dan minimnya pengetahuan dan sarana pembuatan pupuk kompos dari limbah organik di lingkungan sekitar sebagai upaya meminimalisir pengeluaran untuk kebutuhan pupuk. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, iptek bagi masyarakat (IbM) melalui program pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan dengan cara pemberian pengetahuan dan keterampilan di bidang optimalisasi lahan, pembukuan dan manajemen hasil pertanian, difersifikasi jahe menjadi minuman jahe instan, dan pembuatan pupuk kompos. Luaran yang dihasilkan adalah peningkatan keterampilan anggota KWT dalam optimalisasi lahan untuk pertanian organik, terampil dalam mengolah jahe menjadi minuman jahe instan, membuat pupuk organik, serta kompeten dalam pembukuan dan manajemen penjualan hasil pertanian
