    Designing and Building Client-Server Based Student Admission Applications

    Admission of New Students is a routine activity organized by the Educational Institution. Early Childhood Education (PAUD) is included in out-of-school education in the age range of two to five years, the goal is to help improve physical and spiritual growth and development so that children have the readiness to enter further education. Admission of New Students to Al-Qudwah is still done using prospective students visiting Al-Qudwah and filling out the registration form with paper. New Student Admission Application at Al Quwah aims to promote the school to the community at large and can also be registered without parents of prospective students visiting educational institutions. This application makes it easy for parents of prospective students to find out the facilities and infrastructure and the information available on Al Quwah. We built this application using HTML and PHP programming languages with the PHP MySQL database and using the waterfall method

    Monitoring and Analysis of Environmental Gamma Dose Rate around Serpong Nuclear Complex

    An environmental radiation monitoring system that continuously measures gamma dose rate around nuclear facilities is an important tool to present dose rate information to the public or authorities for radiological protection during both normal operation and radiological accidents. We have developed such a system that consists of six GM-based device for monitoring the environmental dose rate around Serpong Nuclear Complex. It has operated since 2010. In this study, a description of the system and analysis of measured data are presented. Analysis of the data for the last five years shows that the average dose rate levels were between 84-99 nSv/h which are still lower than terrestrial gamma radiation levels at several other locations in Indonesia. Time series analysis of the monitoring data demonstrates a good agreement between an increase in environmental gamma dose rate and the presence of iodine and argon in the air by in situ measurement. This result indicates that system is also effective for an early warning system in the case of radiological emergency

    Green chemistry aspect is the chemical approach that has been studied in the past two decade. One of the principles is the development of green synthesis process that is friendly for the environment. This research showed that papain can be used as catalyst for Knoevenagel reaction with 3 kinds of substituted-benzaldehyde and malononitrile as substrates in aqueous medium. The best reaction condition with 80% yield was reached by utilizing of 25 mg papain/mmol substrate. Reaction was conducted at ambient temperature and pressure for 30 min. Products were as yellowish to yellow needle crystals and successfully characterized by melting point, UV-Vis, IR, mass spectra, and 13C & 1H-NMR, named as 2-(4-hydroxybenzylidene)-malononitrile); 2-(3-hydroxybenzylidene)-malononitrile); and 2-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzylidene)-malononitrile)

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh retail marketing mixterhadap kepuasan dan loyalitas pelanggan pada Indomaret di wilayah Denpasar barat. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Indomaret wilayah Denpasar Selatan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalahwawancara dan kuisioner.Jumlah sampel yang diambil adalah sebanyak 160 responden dengan menggunakan metode Purposive Sampling.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis jalur.Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa retail marketing mix berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan, retail marketing mix berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan, kepuasan pelanggan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan, kepuasan pelanggan secara signifikan memediasi pengaruh retail marketing mix terhadap loyalitas pelanggan pada Indomaret di wilayah Denpasar Barat. Indomaret harus lebih memperhatikan kualitas produk yang di jual, lebih menguatkan promosi yang tidak hanya melalui katalog saja dan suasana toko juga menjadi aspek yang penting dalam bisnis ritel

    Development of environmental model performance green productivity for small and medium industries

    Small and Medium Industries has a very important role in supporting the Indonesian economy and reduce unemployment. SMEs in Indonesia contributed in employment amounted to 99.74% of the total national uptake and contribute as much as 1013.5 trillion or 56.73%. As a country that is trying to give a full effort in implementing environmental management systems in all sectors of activity, we need to pay attention to the sector of Small and Medium Industries in terms of environmental management systems. Presumably most of the SMEs in Indonesia have never committed any good environmental management. On the other hand, good environmental management which is performed by company may help to improve efficiency, reduce excessive consumption of resources, reduce waste, help the company in meeting the requirements of environmental law, encourage employment to engage in environmental performance and improve company customer relationship. This study examines indicators that influences the ability of the environmental performance of food and beverage SMEs in East Java, and measure the effect of leadership on human resources, process and environmental management as well as the influence of process and environmental management of the Environmental Performance Indicator, to illustrate how the positive and negative effects of this research using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach. Based on the t-value result, shows that significant variable is the leadership on the processes and environmental management, for human resources, process variables and environmental management of the Environmental Performance Indicator and Environmental Performance Indicator environmental performance

    Kurang atau berlebihnya kelembaban dan suhu dapat menyebabkan tanaman rusak atau bahkan mati. Untukmengurangi faktor human error yang sering terjadi dalam menjaga kelembaban dan suhu tanaman agar tumbuhsempurna diperlukan alat yang secara otomatis menjaga kelembaban dan suhu lingkungan disekitar areatanam.Metodologi pembangunan sistem menggunakan metode v sommerville. Sensor yang digunakan adalah sensor suhu Sensirion SHT-11. Relay yang digunakan adalah Relay Board DT I/O 1210 Delta-Electronic. Mikrokontroler yang digunakan adalah ATmega8535 16PU PDIP. Software Code Vision AVR versi 2.03.4 digunakan untuk kegiatan pemrograman (compile dan build) serta penginjeksian program ke mikrokontroler (via AVR ISP cable). Program yang digunakan berformat Bahasa C yang kemudian di terjemahkan ke bahasa assembler (format HEX dan ROM) dengan codevision. User-System Interface dibangun dengan Microsoft Visual Basic 6. Sistem bekerja secara mandiri tanpa intervensi atau input dari user. Input dari user hanya berupa kode program yang diinjeksikan ke mikrokontrol yang berguna untuk memprogram sistem, yakni untuk menentukan ambang batas derajat suhu (dalam celcius) dan kelembaban (dalam %) yang diinginkan. Bagian output sepenuhnya akan ditangani oleh mikrokontroler, yakni berupa otomasi on/off pompa air untuk melakukan aplikasi penyemprotan air via sprinkler yang bertujuan untuk menjaga kelembaban suhu lingkungan sekitar area tanam
