The method used for image segmentation is the Thresholding method, while the image classification uses the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) method.     There are three objectives of this research. The first is describing the characteristic of the quality-based Principal leadership at SDN Petompon 2 Semarang. Secondly, it is describing the characteristic of the implementation of the quality-based Principal leadership at Public elementary School of 2 Petompon Semarang. Finally, the research aims at classifying the characteristic of the quality-based principal leadership result in SDN Petompon 2 Semarang. It is a qualitative study conducted at SDN Petompon 2 Semarang. The main subject was principal and teachers. The data are people, event, document and artifact. Data collection technique used observation, interview, and documentation. Data anlysis technique used data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion. Data validity included credibility, transferability, dependability, dan confermability. The results of this study are (1) the qualified principal leadership can be seen from the activities conducted in the school that is his success in managing the academic and non academic activities; his ability in planning of school activities such as determining the school programs, formulating the school policies, creating the school program and formulation of the steps to do those programs; his ability to organize activities such as having the ability to place the teachers based on their potential and capabilities in teaching and learning activities; his ability to do several activities, such as being able to motivate teachers in the implementation of school programs; and his ability to control his activities that is to evaluate the implementation of school programs, to evaluate the performance of teachers and other personnel. (2) The work program that has been done by the Principal of SDN Petompon 2 Semarang includes in academic program such as the implementation of supervision in learning activity, giving an additional time for the fifth and sixth grade students, doing a preparation for students that join a subject competition and achievement student. In non academic program, the principal holds an extracurricular to improve students’ ability in Sport and Art. In organization, the principal conducts an administrative supervision and learning administration. In mobilization activity, the principal can motivate his subordinates. And in controlling activity, the principal always supervise all school members regularly every month. And (3) the result of principal leadership based quality at SDN Petompon 2 Semarang can be seen from the achievement of students and teachers. The program of life skill development that consists of sport, art, and skill can bring students to achieve several achievement in district level, regency, provincial and national level. The program of teacher’s professional improvement through giving a motivation that is done by the principal can improve the discipline of teacher and make teachers improve their teaching activity

    Acid Base Module with SETS Approach to Train Student Critical Thinking Skills. This study aimed to develop an acid-base module with SETS approach to train students' critical thinking skills. The study used Borg Gall Research and Development (RD) method until the limited trial stage. The limited trial was carried out on 12 students of class XI at SMAN 1 Dongko Trenggalek. Then, the developed module was tested for its feasibility based on 3 aspects, namely validity, practicality and effectiveness. The module's validity data was obtained from the results of the assessment from two chemistry lecturers and one chemistry teacher. The module obtained validity percentages of 84.1% for content, 84.17% for presentation and 83.33% for language with a valid category. The module's practicality was obtained from the student response questionnaire results, where the practicality percentage of the module was 98.81% with a very practical category. The module's effectiveness was known from the students’ critical thinking skills improvement based on the pretest and posttest scores and obtained n-gain score average of 0.79 with high category. It is supported by the Wilcoxon test results, which obtained Asymp.Sig 0.05 (0.002 0.05), so that Ha is accepted. So, it can be concluded that the acid-base module with the SETS approach can train students' critical thinking skill

    Penerapan Model Jigsaw II Untuk Peningkatan Kemampuan Menganalisis Teks Laporan Hasil Observasi Di Smk

    This study purposes to describe proses and result of the ability learning of analyting the text of the report on the observation through cooperative learning model Jigsaw II type and scientific approach inthe first grade students of Vocational School 1 Mempawah Hilir in accounting program 2. The data used in this study was obtained from the action planning, implementation, observation, and reflection on the ability learning of analyzing the text of the report on the observation. The data source are 37 studens of the first grade of vocational school I Mempawah Hilir in accounting program 2, teacher/writer and obsever. Data collection techniques is direct observation, measurement value of the ability learning of analyzing the text of the report on the observation and documentation study. Based on the results of this study concluded that cooperative learning model Jigsaw II can improve the ability to analyze text of the report on the observation. This success is supported by student interest in the form of response is very active, active, fairly active, inactive, and inactive cycle I, II, and III have enhancement significantly. Results of learning to analyze texts observation reports also increased. The average class of cycle I of 66,6 with a level of completeness of 32,4% to 73,3 with a level of completeness 56,8% in the cycle II, and the average class of cycle III of 81,5 with a level of completeness of 83,8%

    Upaya Meningkatkan Pemahaman Isi, Keterampilan Proses IPA dan Sikap Ilmiah Melalui Pendekatan Konstruktivistik di Kelas 5 SDN Pamalongan 2 Kecamatan Bajuin Kabupaten Tanah Laut

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman isi, keterampilan proses IPA dan sikap ilmiah menggunakan pendekatan konstruktivistik di kelas 5 SDN Pamalongan 2 Kecamatan Bajuin Kabupaten Tanah Laut. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research) secara kolaboratif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Pamalongan 2. Subjek penelitian adalah 20 siswa kelas 5. Tindakan kelas berlangsung dalam dua siklus. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes, observasi, angket dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan dengan tehnik analisis deskriptif melalui tahap pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan konstruktivistik dapat meningkatkan proses pembelajaran dan keterlibatan siswa. Untuk rata-rata tingkat keberhasilan mencapai sebesar 74.98% pada Siklus I, meningkat menjadi 100% pada Siklus II. Untuk keterlibatan siswa, rata-rata tingkat keberhasilan mencapai 77.77% pada Siklus I, meningkat menjadi 94.44% pada Siklus II. Untuk nilai hasil pemahaman isi, ketuntasan klasikal pada pra siklus sebesar 5 % dan Siklus I sebesar 15 % belum sampai pada indikator keberhasilan yaitu 100%, namun pada Siklus II dapat mencapai ketuntasan klasikal 100%. Untuk nilai rata-rata keterampilan proses IPA, siswa dengan kategori baik pada pra siklus sebesar 5% meningkat menjadi 33.3% pada Siklus I dan meningkat menjadi 85% pada Siklus II. Sikap berpikir kritis dalam pembelajaran mengalami peningkatan. Hal ini didukung data peneliti, yaitu rata-rata nilai siswa dengan kategori baik pada pra siklus sebesar 0% meningkat menjadi 33.3% pada Siklus I dan meningkat menjadi 40% pada Siklus II. Sikap ingin tahu siswa dengan kategori baik pada pra siklus sebesar 20% meningkat menjadi 55% pada Siklus I dan meningkat menjadi 100% pada Siklus II

    Kesantunan Berbahasa dalam Interaksi antara Penjual dan Pembeli Tanaman Bunga dan Buahdi Pasar Kilometer 7 Kabupaten Banjar. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan wujud kesantunan danstrategi kesantunan dalam interaksi antara penjual dan pembeli tanaman bunga dan buah di PasarKm.7 Kab. Banjar.Wujud kesantunan dalam data yang ditemukan berjumlah enam jenis, yaitu maksimkebijaksanaan, maksim penerimaan, maksim kemurahan atau pujian, maksim kerendahan hati,maksim kesepakatan atau kecocokan, dan maksim kesimpatian. Strategi kesantunan ada tiga jenis.Pertama, strategi kesantunan positif, yaitu melalui menggunakan kata sapaan yang berusaha membuatmitra tuturnya merasa akrab. Namun, tidak setiap organisasi yang mencoba menerapkan prinsip-prinsip ini berhasil.
