    Literatur Review : Penerapan Sintaks Model Pembelajaran Problem Solving Pada Kurikulum 2013

    This research is a literature study with descriptive qualitative research type with library research which seeks to describe the application of the syntax of problem solving learning models in the 2013 curriculum. In this literature study research the authors use various written sources such as articles, journals and relevant documents with the studies in this study. This study focuses on the application of problem solving learning model syntax. The results of the study show that the syntax of the problem solving learning model is not in accordance with the demands of the 2013 curriculum, it can be seen from the syntax that has not been able to improve the social attitudes of students. The next interesting research to be developed as research is the development of a problem solving learning model syntax to improve the social attitudes of students

    The purpose of research was to investigate students’ attitudes towards natural science in Muaro Jambi, Indonesia. The attitude of the students studied was represented by three indicators, namely the attitude towards the investigation in the Natural Sciences, the adoption of a scientific attitude, and a career interest in the science field. The research was a survey research. The instruments in this study were attitude questionnaires and interview sheets. Data analysis techniques for attitude questionnaires used descriptive statistics while for analyzing interview data using the Miles and Huberman model.The study found students’ good attitudes towards natural science subjects

    ANALYZING OF STUDENTS' ATTITUDES TOWARD SCIENCE ON JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL: Case Study in Muaro Jambi, Indonesia

    Attitude is expressions of likes or dislikes and expressions of accepting or rejecting an object. This study aims to describe students' attitudes toward science based on three attitude indicators in junior high school in Muaro Jambi. This research study is survey research. The instrument used was a questionnaire that focused on three indicators consisting of 26 statements and also interviews. The sample in this study amounted to 2815 junior high schools in Muaro Jambi.  The results of the study of three indicators’ of attitude, which became the dominant focus of research on the good category. The social implication of science shows a very good category, with a percentage of 53.2%. Enjoyment of science lessons shows a good category with a percentage of 48.1%. Career interest in science is categorized as enough, with a percentage category of 41.8%. Research that has been carried out shows that the attitude of students in junior high school is categorized as good because the three indicators that are examined show good categories.

    Identifikasi Karakter Tanggung Jawab Peserta didik Dalam Pembelajaran Fisika Di SMA Negeri 4 Tanjung Jabung Timur

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan karakter tanggung jawab peserta didik dalam pembelajaran fisika di SMA Negeri 4 Tanjung Jabung Timur. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas IPA yang mengikuti pembelajaran fisika yang berjumlah 133 peserta didik. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah total sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket tanggung jawab. Jenis data penelitian ini adalah data kuantitatif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kuantitatif menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Dari sepuluh indikator karakter tanggung jawab terdapat dua indikator dominan berkategori sangat baik yaitu, menghormati dan menghargai aturan di sekolah dengan persentase 42,11% dan memiliki rasa tanggung jawab erat kaitannya dengan prestasi di sekolah dengan persentase 38,35%. Sedangkan yang berkategori baik terdapat tiga indikator yaitu, tidak menyalahkan orang lain dalam belajar dengan persentase 54,14%, bisa membuat keputusan yang berbeda dari keputusan orang lain dalam kelompoknya dengan persentase 48,12%, dan  mempunyai minat yang kuat untuk menekuni belajar dengan persentase 55,5%. Di lain pihak terdapat dua indikator berkategori cukup dan baik yaitu, mampu menentukan pilihan kegiatan belajar dari beberapa alternatif dengan persentase 40,6% baik dan 39,85% cukup, dan melakukan tugas sendiri dengan senang hati dengan persentase 37,59%. Selanjutnya untuk kategori cukup terdapat tiga indikator yaitu, dapat berkonsentrasi dalam belajar dengan persentase 50,38%, melakukan tugas belajar dengan rutin tanpa harus diberi tahu dengan persentase 54,14%, dan dapat menjelaskan alasan atas belajar yang dilakukannya dengan persentase 46,62%

    Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah yakni model pembelajaran problem solving sebagai suatu strategi yang diharapkan mampu meningkatkan sikap siswa dalam proses pembelajaran dan menjadikan proses pembelajaran lebih bermakna bagi siswa. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian studi literatur dengan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif melalui studi pustaka yang mengkaji tentang implementasi sistem sosial model pembelajaran problem solving dalam upaya meningkatkan sikap siswa. Penelitian studi literatur ini bersumber dari artikel ilmiah, jurnal, dan dokumen penelitian relevan yang berkaitan dengan penelitian ini. Fokus penelitian ini adalah implementasi sistem sosial model pembelajaran problem solving. Berdasarkan hasil dari studi literatur dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem sosial dari model pembelajaran problem solving yang telah diterapkan belum sepenuhnya memenuhi tuntutan dalam kurikulum 2013. Hal ini terlihat pada penelitian terdahulu bahwa sistem sosial model pembelajaran problem solving belum mengakomodasi perbaikan sikap sosial siswa. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan sebuah pengembangan terhadap sistem sosial model pembelajaran problem solving untuk meningkatkan sikap sosial siswa

    The purpose of this study is to describe student attitudes toward physics based on the indicators of scientific normality, attitudes toward inquiry in physics and adoption of students' scientific attitudes. The type of research used is quantitative type with survey method. This research subject are 235 students from science major in Senior High School 11 Jambi city. The instruments in this research is a questioner by Darmawangsa (2018). The results show that attitudes of high school 11 students tend to be good with a scientific normality category of 47%, attitudes toward inquiry in physics by 53% and adoption of scientific attitudes by 63

    Student Perceptions and Responses: Learning Using E-Module Physics-Math II

    Perception is influenced by several factors, one of which is biological factors such as gender. Gender is closely related to how different decisions are made between women and men. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that there are differences in the level of perception for each class which has two different genders, namely female and male. From the Anova table, it is found that the significance is smaller than 0.05 which indicates that both men and women have an average difference in perception about the product in the form of an e-module of Physics-Mathematics with double integral material

    Investigating Student Perceptions Based on Gender Differences Using E-Module Mathematics Physics in Multiple Integral Material

    Mathematics physics is a difficult learning and becomes a scourge in studies in physics education. Learning physics and mathematics itself will be very effective when using e-modules, but in terms of making e-modules, students' opinions or perceptions are needed regarding this matter. This study aims to look at student perceptions and also compare these perceptions with other classes based on gender or gender. The research conducted is a survey type quantitative research. The sampling technique used in this study was simple random sampling with the research subject as many as 92 physics education students who contracted the mathematics physics course. The instrument used in collecting data is 15 questions containing 4 choices that must be filled out by students. Analysis of the data used in this study in the form of descriptive analysis and ANOVA test to determine whether there is an average difference in each student's perception. The results obtained indicate that girls have different perceptions in class A and class B, while for boys there is a difference between class A and class C. These results indicate that girls have a fairly large average difference in perception with each other, while for boys the perception tends to be uniform compared to girls.

    Analisis korelasi sikap siswa dan disiplin siswa terhadap IPA pada Siswa SMP Provinsi Jambi

    Ilmu Sains dan karakter dalam pendidikan menjadi fokus penting dalam efektivitas dan keberhasilan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat sikap siswa terhadap sains dan melihat disiplin siswa terhadap sains, kemudian menganalisis korelasi antara dua variabel (sikap dan disiplin) tentang sains. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian survei. Instrumen Penelitian: sikap siswa dan disiplin siswa terhadap sains, yang terdiri dari 25 pernyataan untuk setiap variabel. Penlitian ini dilaksanakan kepada 864 siswa/i SMP di Provinsi Jambi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) indikator sikap siswa terhadap sains menunjukkan sikap positif (kategori baik), (2) indikator disiplin siswa terhadap sains menunjukkan hasil positif, (3) statistik korelasi antara sikap siswa dan disiplin menunjukkan korelasi positif, dengan perincian; Kelas 7 memiliki korelasi yang sangat kuat (0,696), kelas 8 memiliki korelasi yang sangat kuat (0,828), dan kelas 9 memiliki korelasi yang kuat (0,696). Kesimpulannya: variabel sikap siswa dan disiplin siswa menunjukkan hasil positif dan setiap kelas memiliki korelasi positif dan mayoritas tingkat kelas memiliki kategori korelasi yang sangat kuat. Artinya penguatan karakter sikap dalam sains akan diikuti dengan penguatan karakter disiplin dalam sains
