    Improvement of Characteristics of Externally Pressurized Bearing by Controlling Stabilizer

    To improve the characteristics of an externally pressurized bearing, the usage of a stabilizer is very effective.To increase its function further and to improve the characteristics of the bearing, it is tried to use the controller which has a proportional, an integral and a differential operator. In this case, the displacement of shaft and the variation of load are used as an input signal to control the stabilizer.As the result, this stabilizer is useful to improve the characteristics of the externally pressurized bearing.静圧軸受の特性改善に安定化要素は有効である。この安定化要素の機能をさらに高めるために,比例,積分,微分演算要素を持つ調節器を使ってこの安定化要素を制御して,軸受特性を改善することを試みた。この場合,制御入力として軸変位と荷重変動を使用した。その結果,この安定化要素は軸受の動特性改善に有効であることがわかった

    Dynamic characteristics of pneumatic transmission line systems composed of terminal volumes and lines with multiple junctions are analyzed. Frequency characteristics are derived from the transfer functions and transient responses are calculated by the characteristic curve method, and they are compared with the experimental results.Moreover, instead of the exact expression of complicated system with junction such as branching system, volume terminated single line with equivalent length and equivalent volume is proposed by using its similarity with the second order oscillatory system. Difference between the exact and its equivalent systems are compared by frequency and transient responses and good agreements are obtained

    In a hydraulic drive system, stick-slip motion at low speed of operation is well known. Incidentally, in reference (3), it is shown that there is a vibration without stick part.In this report, in the hydraulic drive system using a pressure compensated flow control valve, the equation of its motion is approximately reduced to Rayleigh equation on the assumption that the friction c haracteristic is a third order function approximately. Then, it will be possible to explain the existence of the vibration without stick part, judging from its solution curves.油圧駆動系において,低速駆動に生ずるスティックスリップ動作は良く知られている。また,文献(3)によると,スティック部のない振動が生じることが示されている。本報では,圧力補償型流量調節弁を使用し,摩擦特性を3次関数と近似的に仮定すると,動作方程式はレイリー方程式で近似できる。そして,この解曲線から判断すると,スティック部の無い振動の存在を説明しうる可能性がある
