    We have studied CO2 fixation from air. Photosynthesis performed in plants might be the superior process for the fixation of diluted CO2. The following four factors should be considered for the fixation; (1) high efficiency per unit area, (2) growth control by hydroponics, (3) easy circulation and (4) proper preservability of the products. Onions have been picked for the most favorable plants. They have been grown for 3 months in a CO2 rich chamber. The rate of the photosynthesis has been raised over twice in the CO2 concentration of 3,000 ppm compared with ca. 400 ppm in air

    城西大学経営学部では,2011年度よりキャリア関連科目を導入している。本稿では経営学部で実施されているキャリア関連教育について,キャリアデザインの科目とゼミナールの実際の運営状況に焦点を当てて考察し,それらの課題と望ましいあり方を検討した。第1章では,経営学部における2011年度~2013年度のキャリア入門教育と専門科目の授業の現状を考察した。「キャリア教育は早期に実施した方がより効果が高まる」との仮説を立てて,キャリア教育を1年次から実施してきたが,就職活動に直結した高い効果を求めて,2014年4月から講義内容の改善を行った。第2章では,キャリア教育に対する学生の反応をアンケート調査の実施により教育効果の検証を行った。第3章においては,アンケート結果から明らかとなったキャリア教育における実務的課題を4点指摘した。最後に第4章では,基礎ゼミで行われている1年次の基礎力向上の現状と基礎力診断結果を考察し,基礎力向上を目的とした教材開発や授業の状況を述べる。 Since 2011, career oriented subjects had been introduced in Faculty of Business Administration, Josai University. This paper was focused to discuss actual instruction of career design subjects and first year seminar concerning career oriented education in Faculty of Business Administration. Career education during year 2011 and 2013 was described in the first chapter. Being based on the hypothesis that the earlier career education is more effective for the job hunting activities, introductory career education has been introduced to the first year students. However, as the results were limited, the lecture contents were changed for more effective results in April 2014. In the second chapter, the effect for career education was verified by conducting questionnaires. The third chapter pointed out four areas as practical instruction for career education. Finally, the fourth chapter presented basic academic skills and their results for the first year students and also development of teaching materials for the purpose of improving basic academic skills.教育実践研

    For a purpose of water management in a river, we must take the analyses of rainfall and runoff relationships. As one type of them, is there a tank model. This model can represent either a linear or a non-linear relationship, but an arrangement of tanks needs a trial and error approach. To overcome this demerit, we combine a tank model with a linear response model, by which calculations can be proceeded uniquely. After that, we transform a linear tank to a non-linear one. Lastly, this method is applied to an actual river basin

    We formulate a numerical method for fluid flows with heat transfer in network-structured porous media based on the lattice kinetic scheme. In this method, the spatial derivatives of the macroscopic variables at a lattice point on body surfaces are calculated as the weighted mean values of finite difference approximations in calculable directions. This implies that there is no need to care about the normal and tangential directions at the boundaries. By using this method, flow and heat-transfer problems in network-structured porous media are simulated to confirm the validity of the method. The calculated pressure drops and the Nusselt numbers for various Reynolds numbers are in good agreement with available numerical and experimental data. In addition, flow patterns and temperature distributions at a pore scale are obtained for time-dependent flows. The results show that the present method is useful for simulation of fluid flows with heat transfer in complicated geometries.Article計算数理工学論文集. 15:73-78 (2015)journal articl
