Sleep correlates of early risk of bipolar disorder in children and adolescents.
Proto jsme provedli: a) Explorativní studii spánku a cirkadiánního rytmu klid-aktivita u potomků BP rodičů; b) Navazující studii spánku a cirkadiánního rytmu u dětí a adolescentů BP rodičů, u kterých nebyla přítomná psychopatologie, s výjimkou deprese a úzkostných poruch. Metody: a) 14 dnů aktigrafického měření a subjektivní škály (dotazník dle Chervina, Dotazník ranních a večerních typů - verze pro děti, MEQ a spánková škála dotazníku General Behavior Inventory, GBISS) k testování chronotypu a kvality spánku, psychiatrické vyšetření k určení psychopatologie. b) Studie se stanovenými hypotézami dle výsledků studie a), užívající ≥ 14 dní aktigrafického měření s pokročilejšími technikami k určení chronotypu, sociálního jet lagu a spánkové makrostruktury, psychiatrické vyšetření a subjektivní psychometrické škály k určení plného psychopatologického profilu. Výsledky: a) Bylo zařazeno 42 potomků v riziku a 42 kontrol srovnatelných věkem a pohlavím. Furthermore, circadian rhythm alterations are a core feature of BD. Despite the impairment in circadian rhythms and altered sleep included in various heuristic developmental models of BD, thus far, biomarkers in population at risk for BD have not been sufficiently objectively validated. Thus, we conducted: a) Explorative study of sleep and rest-activity circadian rhythm among offspring of BD parents. b) Study of sleep and rest-activity circadian rhythm among offspring of BD parents without the presence of psychopathology (except depression and anxiety disorders) based on our exploratory findings. Methods: a) 14 days of actigraphic assessment and subjective scales (Pediatric Sleep Questionnaire, PSQ; the Morningness/Eveningness Questionnaire, MEQ; and The General Behavior Inventory Sleep Subscale, GBISS) to assess circadian preference, and to identify sleep impairment symptoms. Psychopathology was assessed using psychiatric interview. b) ≥ 14 days of actigraphic assessment with advanced methods to assess the chronotype, social jet lag and sleep macrostructure, psychiatric interview and subjective psychometric scales to assess the full psychopathology profile. Question of chert exploiting on the Stránská skála Hill (Brno-Slatina, Czech Republic) by the Bell Beaker People
Stránská skála is a limestone hill in the eastern part of Brno, Czech Republic. Local Upper Jurassic cherts, referred as the Stránská skála type were used as raw materials in various prehistoric periods, especially at the turn of the Middle and Upper Paleolithic and in the Old Eneolithic. Among archaeological remains discovered on the hill there is a dug-in settlement structure linked with a younger stage of the Moravian Bell Beaker culture (abbr. MBBC), excavated in 2016. The paper raises the question of exploitation of Stránská skála cherts by MBBC people
