Examinatıon Of Mindfulness-Based Self-Efficacy Of Students Studying In Sports Sciences
In this study, it was aimed to examine the mindfulness-based self-efficacy levels of undergraduate
students studying in sports sciences in terms of various variables. The sample of the research consists of
undergraduate students studying at the faculty of sports sciences at Trakya University and Çanakkale
Onsekiz Mart University, which were selected by convenience sampling method. The Conscious
Awareness-Based Self-Efficacy Scale-Revised (SPS-A) developed by (Cayoun et al., 2012) and adapted into
Turkish (Atalay et al., 2017) was used as a data collection tool in the research. The statistical information
of the participants was evaluated by using the descriptive survey method in the study. Skewness and
Kurtosis values were evaluated statistically by Normal Distribution test analysis. First of all, by looking at
the Cronbach Alpha values of the scale, after the validity and reliability analysis, the skewness and
kurtosis values of the obtained data were examined and the hypotheses of the socio-demographic
variables were tested. Regular exercise status of students studying in sports sciences, taking part in sports
organizations organized by university federations, having a licensed athlete for at least three years,
according to the exam score taken as a basis for university application, according to the university success
score, according to the frequency of participating in recreational activities, It was tested statistically
according to the status of working in any job, university, department and class, and no significant
difference was found in mindfulness-based self-efficacy, while a significant difference was obtained
according to the gender variable. The result of Mann Whitney-U Test was obtained that male
undergraduate students studying in sports sciences participating in the research had higher mindfulnessbased
self-efficacy levels than females (P: 009<0.05)
A Study of time management, attitudes and skills of individuals who particıpated in sport organizations
Yüksek Lisans TeziEdirne’de yapılmakta olan organizasyonlarda görev almış kişilerin zaman yönetimi tutum ve becerilerinin incelenmesi, var ise aralarındaki anlamlı farklılıkların saptanması amaçlandı. Araştırma evrenini Türkiye'de farklı spor organizasyonlarında görev almış bireyler oluşturmaktadır. Örneklemi ise; Edirne merkezde organizasyonlarda görev alan 300 bireyden oluşmuştur. Araştırmaya esas olan veriler, Türkmen’(2005) tarafından geliştirilen “Zaman Yönetimi Anket Formu” aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Kullanılan anket iki bölümden meydana gelmektedir. İlk bölümde bireylerin demografik özellikleri üzerinde durulmuştur. İkinci bölümde ise, zaman yönetimi tutum ve becerilerini belirlemeye yönelik sorular yer almaktadır. Araştırmada anket yolu ile sağlanan veriler SPSS 14.0 paket programı ile analiz elde edilmiş ve değerlendirilmiştir. Katılımcıların anket formundaki ifadeler karşısındaki tutumları, her bir soru için frekans dağılımı ve yüzde oranları dağılımı ile incelenmiştir. İstatistiki testlerden Mann-Whitney U Testi ile Kurskal-Wallis testleri ile test edilerek sonuçlar yorumlandı. Araştırmadaki likert maddelerine ilişkin Cronbach Alpha 0.921 olarak elde edildi. Bu elde edilen istatistik 0.50’den küçük olduğundan dolayı ankete katılanların bu maddelere ilişkin yargıları doğru kavradıkları ortaya konuldu. Araştırmamızda elde edilen Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin testinin p değeri 0.000 tespit edilmiştir. Bu sonuçlar doğrultusunda faktör analizinin yapılmasının uygun olduğu görüldü. Faktörlerin p değerleri , p<0.05 olduğundan dolayı belediye ve özel sektör arasında etkin zaman yönetimin, örgütsel zaman yönetimi, eşgüdümsel zaman yönetimi, planlama zaman yönetimine ilişkin yargılarında farklılık bulunmaktadır (p=0,000).abstractIt was aimed to examine the people’s time management attitudes and skills who participated in organizations. The individuals who participated in different sorts organizations in Edirne constituted this research universe. 300 people who participated in organizations constituted the sample and the main data was gathered by “Zaman Yönetimi Anket Formu” (Time Management Questionaire Form) by Mutlu TÜRKMEN. The questionaire consists of 2 parts. The first part brings out the individual’s demographical properties. In second part, the questionsare asked to understand the time management attitude and skills. In research, the data gathered by thequestionaire is analized and evaluated by SPSS 14.0 package program. The participants’ attitudes against the expressions in thequestionaire form is examined with the frequency and percentage distribution of eachquestion. The results are in terpreted by testing Mann-Whitney U and Kurskal-Wallis tests. The Cronbach related to Likert materials was gained as Alpha 0.921 in research. The statistics gained were less than 0.50 so it was revealed that the participants comprehended the expressions related to these materials correctly. p value of Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin test gained in our research was determined 0.000. According to these results, it was approved that the factor analysis shouls be carried out. p values of the factors were p<0.05 so there are differences between the municipality and private sector related to effective time management, organizational time management, coordinative time management and planning time management (p=0,000)
Investigation of the relationship between emotional intelligence and psychological resilience in female football players
In the study, it was aimed to investigate the relationship between emotional intelligence and psychological resilience levels of female football players. The sample of the research consists of 276 female football players selected by convenience sampling method. As a data collection tool, the "Emotional Intelligence Trait Scale (TE1Qqu-SF) Short Form" scale and the "Short Psychological Resilience Scale" were adapted and used in the last part. The data that obtained from female football players were analyzed statistically with the SPSS package program. The statistical information of the participants was evaluated by using the descriptive survey method in the study. First of all, validity and reliability analyzes were performed by looking at the Cronbach Alpha values of the scales. Skewness and kurtosis values were evaluated statistically by Normal Distribution test analysis. After examining the skewness and kurtosis values of the study group, the hypotheses of socio-demographic variables were tested and correlation analysis was performed. As a result, while no significant difference was found in female football players according to marital status and athlete's age, it was found that there was a positive relationship between emotional intelligence and psychological resilience
