Synthesis and conformational analysis of leptocarpin derivatives. Influence of modification of the oxirane ringon leptocarpin's cytotoxic activity.

Indexación: ScieloABSTRACT The reaction in acidconditions of Leptocarpin 1, a compound with antitumor activity, formed two new isomeric products, 8b-angeloyl-1b,3b-dihydroxy-4,10-dimethyl,-D11(13) methylen-4Z,9Z-dieneheliangol-6,12-olide 2 and 8b-angeloyl-1b,3b-dihydroxy-4-methyl-D11(13),D11(14)-dimethylen-4Z-eneheliangol-6,12-olide 3, whose structures reported in this study were established by spectroscopy (1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, MS and IR) and confirmedthrough ROESY experiments and theoretical studies by molecular mechanics. The in vitro cytotoxicity of these isomeric compounds was less active than leptocarpin, showing the importance of the oxirane ring in the biological activity. Branching analysis of a countable family of global similarity solutions of a fourth-order thin film equation

The main goal in this article is to justify that source-type and other global-in-time similarity solutions of the Cauchy problem for the fourthorder thin film equation can be obtained by a continuous deformation (a homotopy path). This is done by reducing to similarity solutions (given by eigenfunctions of a rescaled linear operator B) of the classic bi-harmonic equation This approach leads to a countable family of various global similarity patterns of the thin film equation, and describes their oscillatory sign-changing behaviour by using the known asymptotic properties of the fundamental solution of bi-harmonic equation. Routines for optimizing neutron scattering instruments with McStas

We present software routines for simulating the transport of thermal neutrons through materials relevant for neutron instrumentation. The elastic interactions in different types of textured polycrystals are modelled and implemented in the routines. Three limit cases of textures are explicitly considered: powder texture, with uniform distribution of grain orientations, mosaic single crystal texture, with a distribution of orientations sharply peaked about one direction, and ideal fibre textures. Sharp textures can be modelled as combinations of these three limit textures. For polycrystals with mild textures, a different method is used. The inelastic scattering is treated in the incoherent approximation, including multi-phonon terms of arbitrary large order. Actualización del sistema de gestión de calidad para empresa procesadora de alcoholes en base a la norma ISO 9001:2008

El presente trabajo se desarrolló en la Empresa de Alcohol S.A. con la finalidad de aplicar una mejora sistema de gestión de calidad, realizando una actualización basada en la norma ISO 9001:2008 ya que esta especifica los requisitos para la aplicación de un sistema de gestión de la calidad que pueden utilizarse en la aplicación interna de esta organización, con objeto de actualizar la certificación que ya tiene (ISO 9001:2000). La auditoría interna determino algunas falencias en cuanto al cumplimiento de la norma vigente, siendo una de ellos no cumplir correctamente los parámetros ya establecidos en la documentación, falta de charlas y capacitaciones, para un mayor entendimiento, conocimiento y aplicación de la norma. Este tipo de falencias pueden traer como consecuencia pérdida del producto, desperdicios de insumos causando perjuicio económico. Como solución opcional se propuso a la Empresa, establecer un cronograma de capacitación de las normativas, BPM, HACCP e ISO 9001:2008 dirigido al personal de la empresa con énfasis en los operadores actualizar el sistema de gestión de calidad que la empresa ya tiene en aplicación. Así mismo, para la actualización del sistema de gestión de calidad ISO 9001:2000 y comprende la actualización del Manual de Calidad y procedimientos, así como Planificación y Ejecución de Auditorías Internas, Elaboración y Control de Registros y Plan de mejoras continua, y procedimientos acciones correctivas y acciones preventivas.ESPO
