The Choquet integral for the aggregation of interval scales in multicriteria decision making

This paper addresses the question of which models fit with information concerning the preferences of the decision maker over each attribute, and his preferences about aggregation of criteria (interacting criteria). We show that the conditions induced by these information plus some intuitive conditions lead to a unique possible aggregation operator: the Choquet integral.

Application d'opérateurs de fusion floue à la classification automatique de cibles réalisée par un radar polarimétrique

L'article décrit l'application de quelques opérateurs de fusion floue pour la classification automatique de profils de distance mesurés par un radar polarimétrique. L'acquisition des signatures radar réelles est réalisée dans la chambre anéchoïde de l'ENSIETA, pour 5 modèles d'avions réduits à l'échelle et 3 combinaisons de polarisation. L'analyse des résultats en classification obtenus au travers des intégrales de Sugeno et de Choquet, ainsi que de la théorie des possibilités, permet de conclure sur les opérateurs de fusion floue les mieux adaptés dans le contexte de l'application visée

A Review of Sustainability Reporting Tools (SRTs) for Communities

Sustainability reporting tools (SRTs) for Communities is part of a new paradigm to aid local governments and councils in their decision making process.  These integrative tools have evolved from prior versions of SRTs that focus purely on a single building performance to consider the sustainability performance of communities.  This paper provides a review of mainstream SRTs for Communities, in particular: BREEAM for Communities; LEED for Neighbourhood Development; CASBEE for Urban Development; Green Star for Communities; Sustainability Tool for Assessing and Rating (STAR); EcoCity; and HQE2R.  A critique of these tools is provided to better understand some of the existing limitations including the lack of clarity in the size of development that these SRTs are capable of assessing; lack of published reasoning behind the allocated scores or weightings for the criteria selected; inadequate account of the different sources of uncertainty; the adoption of a static perspective; and the lack of acknowledgement of possible interaction or correlation between criteria.  This review will be of interest to practitioners, academics and developers who are concerned about ways to improve the sustainability of the built environment

Capacities and Games on Lattices: A Survey of Result

We provide a survey of recent developments about capacities (or fuzzy measures) and ccoperative games in characteristic form, when they are defined on more general structures than the usual power set of the universal set, namely lattices. International audienceIf there is an awareness of the coexistence of the two stakes Will or desire to do and Capacity to do, few works address the problem of performance satisfaction in a multi-criteria space while integrating into the decision model feasibility considerations. Hereafter, we propose methods that can help the decision makers to find a compromise between willingness to do and ability to do in the uncertainty context, for instance, of the preliminary design stage. For this purpose, possibilistic models of the expected performance and also of the ability are defined. The difficulty of realization is calculated in a same way as the estimation of the satisfaction of performance using Choquet integral. Thus it may be possible to satisfy the customers while considering the available engineering resources.S'il y a bien une prise de conscience de la coexistence des deux référentiels Volonté de faire et Capacité à faire, peu de travaux s'intéressent à la satisfaction des performances dans un espace multicritère tout en intégrant dans le modèle de décision des estimations de faisabilité. Aussi proposons nous des méthodes outillées pour aider le décideur à réaliser un compromis entre volonté à faire et capacité à faire dans un contexte d'incertitude tel que celui de la conception préliminaire. A cet effet, des modèles possibilistes des performances attendues et aussi de la capacité à les atteindre sont définis. A l'instar de l'estimation de la satisfaction des performances agrégées de plusieurs critères, la difficulté de réalisation de celles-ci est aussi calculée par une l'intégrale de Choquet. Ainsi il doit être possible de satisfaire au mieux les clients en cohérence avec les ressources d'ingénierie mobilisables
