The Southern Vilnius Photometric System. IV. The E Regions Standard Stars

This paper is the fourth in a series on the extension of the Vilnius photometric system to the southern hemisphere. Observations were made of 60 stars in the Harvard Standard E regions to increase a set of standard stars.Comment: 6 pages, TeX, requires 2 macros (baltic2.tex, baltic4.tex) included no figures, to be published in Baltic Astronomy, Vol 6, pp1-6 (1997

Thermalization and pinch singularities in non-equilibrium quantum field theory

I argue that, within the Closed-Time-Path formalism, pinch singularities do not appear in truly out of equilibrium situations.Comment: 9 pages, plain TEX, no figures (TEX mistakes corrected

Atypical Representations of Uq(sl(N))U_{q}(sl(N)) at Roots of Unity

We show how to adapt the Gelfand-Zetlin basis for describing the atypical representation of Uq(sl(N)){\cal U}_{\displaystyle{q}}(sl(N)) when qq is root of unity. The explicit construction of atypical representation is presented in details for N=3N=3.Comment: 18 pages, Tex-file and 2 figures. Uuencoded, compressed and tared archive of plain tex file and postscript figure file. Upon uudecoding, uncompressing and taring, tex the file atypique.te

Program schemes with deep pushdown storage.

Inspired by recent work of Meduna on deep pushdown automata, we consider the computational power of a class of basic program schemes, TeX, based around assignments, while-loops and non- deterministic guessing but with access to a deep pushdown stack which, apart from having the usual push and pop instructions, also has deep-push instructions which allow elements to be pushed to stack locations deep within the stack. We syntactically define sub-classes of TeX by restricting the occurrences of pops, pushes and deep-pushes and capture the complexity classes NP and PSPACE. Furthermore, we show that all problems accepted by program schemes of TeX are in EXPTIME
