In this article, we combine the original VIKOR model with a triangular fuzzy neutrosophic set to propose the triangular fuzzy neutrosophic VIKOR method. In the extended method, we use the triangular fuzzy neutrosophic numbers (TFNNs) to present the criteria values in multiple criteria group decision making (MCGDM) problems. Firstly, we summarily introduce the fundamental concepts, operation formulas and distance calculating method of TFNNs. Then we review some aggregation operators of TFNNs. Thereafter, we extend the original VIKOR model to the triangular fuzzy neutrosophic environment and introduce the calculating steps of the TFNNs VIKOR method, our proposed method which is more reasonable and scientific for considering the conflicting criteria. Furthermore, a numerical example for potential evaluation of emerging technology commercialization is presented to illustrate the new method, and some comparisons are also conducted to further illustrate advantages of the new method

In this article, we develop the COPRAS model to solve the multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM) under single-valued neutrosophic 2-tuple linguistic sets (SVN2TLSs). Firstly, we introduce the relevant knowledge about SVN2TLSs in a nutshell, such as the definition, the operation laws, a few of fused operators and so on. Then, combine the traditional COPRAS model with SVN2TLNs, and structure as well as elucidate the computing steps of the SVN2TLNCOPRAS pattern. Furthermore, in this article, we propose a method for determining attribute weights in different situations relying on the maximizing deviation method with SVN2TLNs. Last but not least, a numerical example about assessing the safety of construction project has been designed. And for further demonstrating the advantage of the new designed method, we also select a number of existed methods to have comparisons. First published online 13 January 202

In this article, the VIKOR method is proposed to solve the multiple criteria group decision making (MCGDM) with 2-tuple linguistic neutrosophic numbers (2TLNNs). Firstly, the fundamental concepts, operation formulas and distance calculating method of 2TLNNs are introduced. Then some aggregation operators of 2TLNNs are reviewed. Thereafter, the original VIKOR method is extended to 2TLNNs and the calculating steps of VIKOR method with 2TLNNs are proposed. In the proposed method, it’s more reasonable and scientific for considering the conflicting criteria. Furthermore, the VIKOR are extended to interval-valued 2-tuple linguistic neutrosophic numbers (IV2TLNNs). Moreover, a numerical example for green supplier selection has been given to illustrate the new method and some comparisons are also conducted to further illustrate advantages of the new method

In this article, we extend the original TODIM (Portuguese acronym for Interactive Multi-Criteria Decision Making) method to the 2-tuple linguistic neutrosophic fuzzy environment to propose the 2TLNNs TODIM method. In the extended method, we use 2-tuple linguistic neutrosophic numbers (2TLNNs) to present the criteria values in multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problems. Firstly, we briefly introduce the definition, operational laws, some aggregation operators and the distance calculating method of 2TLNNs. Then, the calculation steps of the original TODIM model are presented in simplified form. Thereafter, we extend the original TODIM model to the 2TLNNs environment to build the 2TLNNs TODIM model, our proposed method, which is more reasonable and scientific in considering the subjectivity of DM’s behaviors and the dominance of each alternative over others. Finally, a numerical example for the safety assessment of a construction project is proposed to illustrate the new method, and some comparisons are also conducted to further illustrate the advantages of the new method

INVESTIGATION OF INDUSTRY 5.0 HURDLES AND THEIR MITIGATION TACTICS IN EMERGING ECONOMIES BY TODIM ARITHMETIC AND GEOMETRIC AGGREGATION OPERATORS IN SINGLE VALUE NEUTROSOPHIC ENVIRONMENT

Industry 5.0 acceptance is accelerating, but research is still in its infancy, and existing research covers a small subset of context-specific obstacles. This study aims to enumerate all potential obstacles, quantitatively rank them, and assess interdependencies at the organizational level for Industry 5.0 adoption. To achieve this, we thoroughly review the literature, identify obstacles, and investigate causal relationships using a multi-criteria decision-making approach called single value Neutrosophic TODIM. Single-valued Neutrosophic sets (SVNS) ensembles are employed in a real-world setting to deal with uncertainty and indeterminacy. The suggested strategy enables the experts to conduct group decision-making by focusing on ranking the smaller collection of criterion values and the comparison with the decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory method (DEMATEL). According to the findings, the most significant hurdles are expenses and the funding system, capacity scalability, upskilling, and reskilling of human labor. As a result, a comfortable atmosphere is produced for decision-making, enabling the experts to handle an acceptable amount of data while still making choices

In today’s world, with the advancement of technology, several emerging technologies are coming. Faced with massive emerging technologies which are the component of the technology pool, how to identify the commercial potential of emerging technologies in theory and practice is an important problem. The scientific approach to the selection of these emerging technologies is one of the main objectives of the research. In this paper, we extend Muirhead mean (MM) operator and dual MM (DMM) operator to process the Pythagorean fuzzy numbers (PFNs) and then to solve the multiple attribute decision making (MADM) problems. Firstly, we develop some Pythagorean fuzzy Muirhead mean operators by extending MM and DMM operators to Pythagorean fuzzy information. Then, we prove some properties and discuss some special cases with respect to the parameter vector. Moreover, we present some new methods to deal with MADM problems with the PFNs based on the proposed MM and DMM operators. Finally, we verify the validity and reliability of our methods by using an application example for potential evaluation of emerging technology commercialization, and analyze the advantages of our methods by comparing with other existing method

    Optimization for Decision Making II

    Get PDF
In the current context of the electronic governance of society, both administrations and citizens are demanding the greater participation of all the actors involved in the decision-making process relative to the governance of society. This book presents collective works published in the recent Special Issue (SI) entitled “Optimization for Decision Making II”. These works give an appropriate response to the new challenges raised, the decision-making process can be done by applying different methods and tools, as well as using different objectives. In real-life problems, the formulation of decision-making problems and the application of optimization techniques to support decisions are particularly complex and a wide range of optimization techniques and methodologies are used to minimize risks, improve quality in making decisions or, in general, to solve problems. In addition, a sensitivity or robustness analysis should be done to validate/analyze the influence of uncertainty regarding decision-making. This book brings together a collection of inter-/multi-disciplinary works applied to the optimization of decision making in a coherent manner
