The Cauchy Mean Value Theorem for Intuitionistic Fuzzy Functions

In this paper, we first study the arithmetic properties of intuitionistic fuzzy number, the monotonicity of intuitionistic fuzzy function and the derivative of intuitionistic fuzzy functions and then we study the fundamental properties on monotone function. After that, we proposed a mean value theorem for differentiable function in intuitionistic fuzzy calculus, from which we derived a general version using Cauchy mean value theorem for intuitionistic fuzzy calculus. At last, we give some examples and we also show as a corollary that the mean value theorem is a special case of the Cauchy version of mean value theorem.Comment: 36 pages, 3 graphic

An interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy multiattribute group decision making framework with incomplete preference over alternatives

This article proposes a framework to handle multiattribute group decision making problems with incomplete pairwise comparison preference over decision alternatives where qualitative and quantitative attribute values are furnished as linguistic variables and crisp numbers, respectively. Attribute assessments are then converted to interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy numbers (IVIFNs) to characterize fuzziness and uncertainty in the evaluation process. Group consistency and inconsistency indices are introduced for incomplete pairwise comparison preference relations on alternatives provided by the decision-makers (DMs). By minimizing the group inconsistency index under certain constraints, an auxiliary linear programming model is developed to obtain unified attribute weights and an interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy positive ideal solution (IVIFPIS). Attribute weights are subsequently employed to calculate distances between alternatives and the IVIFPIS for ranking alternatives. An illustrative example is provided to demonstrate the applicability and effectiveness of this method

Evaluation of SCOR KPIs using a predictive MILP model under fuzzy parameters.

The Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) model is a well-recognized process reference model in the supply chain management field. Based on the literature, there is no research work that proposes a method to estimate and predict SCOR key performance indicators (KPIs) of a company. The objective of this paper is to propose a methodology to assess the SCOR KPIs under uncertainties based on level 2 of the SCOR-Make process metric, including nine KPIs. The proposed methodology consists of predictive MILP models with fuzzy parameters and some algorithms to assess the KPIs related to agility. A case study of a bottled-water factory is conducted to demonstrate the application of the proposed methodology. From the fact that some parameters are fuzzy numbers, the obtained SCOR KPIs are fuzzy numbers, which provide more information than constant values. The findings indicate that the proposed methodology is capable of developing the relationship between the manufacturing parameters and the SCOR KPIs, which enable the effective prediction process especially when the manufacturing parameters are changed or improved

Continuous intuitionistic fuzzy ordered weighted distance measure and its application to group decision making

The aim of this paper is to develop the continuous intuitionistic fuzzy ordered weighted distance (C-IFOWD) measure by using the continuous intuitionistic fuzzy ordered weighted averaging (C-IFOWA) operator in the interval distance. We investigate some desirable properties and different families of the C-IFOWD measure. We also generalize the C-IFOWD measure. The prominent characteristics of the C-IFOWD measure are that it is not only a generalization of some widely used distance measure, but also it can deal with interval deviations in aggregation on interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy values (IVIFVs) by using a controlled parameter, which can decrease the uncertainty of argument and improve the accuracy of decision. The desirable characteristics make the C-IFOWD measure suitable to wide range situations, such as decision making, engineering and investment, etc. In the end, we introduce a new approach to group decision making with IVIFVs in human resource management. A COGNITIVE STYLE AND AGGREGATION OPERATOR MODEL: A LINGUISTIC APPROACH FOR CLASSIFICATION AND SELECTION OF THE AGGREGATION OPERATORS

Abstract. Aggregation operators (AOs) have been studied by many scholars. As many AOs are proposed, there is still lacking approach to classify the categories of AO, and to select the appropriate AO within the AO candidates. In this research, each AO can be regarded as a cognitive style or individual difference. A Cognitive Style and Aggregation Operator (CSAO) model is proposed to analyze the mapping relationship between the aggregation operators and the cognitive styles represented by the decision attitudes. Four algorithms are proposed for CSAO: CSAO-1, CSAO-2 and two selection strategies on the basis of CSAO-1 and CSAO-2. The numerical examples illustrate how the choice of the aggregation operators on the basis of the decision attitudes can be determined by the selection strategies of CSAO-1 and CSAO-2. The CSAO model can be applied to decision making systems with the selection problems of the appropriate aggregation operators with consideration of the cognitive styles of the decision makers

Triangular Cubic Hesitant Fuzzy Einstein Hybrid Weighted Averaging Operator and Its Application to Decision Making

    Get PDF
In this paper, triangular cubic hesitant fuzzy Einstein weighted averaging (TCHFEWA) operator, triangular cubic hesitant fuzzy Einstein ordered weighted averaging (TCHFEOWA) operator and triangular cubic hesitant fuzzy Einstein hybrid weighted averaging (TCHFEHWA) operator are proposed. An approach to multiple attribute group decision making with linguistic information is developed based on the TCHFEWA and the TCHFEHWA operators. Furthermore, we establish various properties of these operators and derive the relationship between the proposed operators and the existing aggregation operators. Finally, a numerical example is provided to demonstrate the application of the established approach

The interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy geometric choquet aggregation operator based on the generalized banzhaf index and 2-additive measure

    Get PDF
Based on the operational laws on interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets, the generalized Banzhaf interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy geometric Choquet (GBIVIFGC) operator is proposed, which is also an interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy value. It is worth pointing out that the GBIVIFGC operator can be seen as an extension of some geometric mean operators. Since the fuzzy measure is defined on the power set, it makes the problem exponentially complex. In order to overall reflect the interaction among elements and reduce the complexity of solving a fuzzy measure, we further introduce the GBIVIFGC operator w.r.t. 2-additive measures. Furthermore, if the information about weights of experts and attributes is incompletely known, the models of obtaining the optimal 2-additive measures on criteria set and expert set are given by using the introduced cross entropy measure and the Banzhaf index. Finally, an approach to pattern recognition and multi-criteria group decision making under interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy environment is developed, respectively
