Specification of a Multipoint Congram-Oriented High Performance Internet Protocol

We have proposed a very high speed internet (VHSI) abstraction that can provide a variable grade service with performance guarantees on top of diverse networks. An important component of the VHSI abstraction is a novel Multipoint Congram-oriented High Performance Internet Protocol (MCHIP). Features of this protocol include support for multipoint communication, the congram as the service primitive which incorporates strengths of both connection and datagram approaches, ability to provide variable grade of service with performance guarantees, and suitability for high speed implementation. Perlu dilakukan analisa performance internet service MSAN, agar tidak ada lagi keluhan – keluhan gangguan internet pelanggan Telkom serta meningkatkan performance internet service MSAN yang sempat turun karena adanya gangguan – gangguan internet.Penyebab turunnya service internet pada MSAN pada penelitian disebabkan oleh kabel tembaga. Jaringan kabel tembaga eksisting yang sudah menahun bisa menyebabkan turunnya kualitas elektrik pada tembaga. Sehingga ketika jaringan tembaga tersebut terkoneksi dengan perangkat baru, kualitas elektrik yang ada di tembaga sangat mudah untuk dideteksi.Pemeliharaan jaringan tembaga dengan rutin akan mengurangi penyebab terjadinya gangguan-gangguan yang disebabkan oleh jaringan tembaga. Dan pemeliharaan pada jaringan tembaga tidak hanya diperhatikan pada fisik suatu tembaga, namun juga harus memperhatikan kualitas elektirk tembaga yang pasti berkurang setiap tahunnya atau karena sesuatu yang bisa menyebabkan kualitas elektrik tembaga itu berkurang, salah satu contohnya tembaga di line A dengan line B dalam satu pair bersentuhan satu sama lain

Creative professionals search for digital music to accompany moving images using interactive information retrieval systems run by music publishers and record companies. This research investigates the creative professionals and the intermediaries communication processes and information seeking and use behaviour with a view to making recommendations to information retrieval systems builders as to the extent of relative importance of content and contextual factors. A communications model is used to suggest that the meaning of music is determined by its listener and use context, as well as cultural codes and competences. Characterizing User-to-User Connectivity with RIPE Atlas

Characterizing the interconnectivity of networks at a country level is an interesting but non-trivial task. The IXP Country Jedi is an existing prototype that uses RIPE Atlas probes in order to explore interconnectivity at a country level, taking into account all Autonomous Systems (AS) where RIPE Atlas probes are deployed. In this work, we build upon this basis and specifically focus on "eyeball" networks, i.e. the user-facing networks with the largest user populations in any given country, and explore to what extent we can provide insights on their interconnectivity. In particular, with a focused user-to-user (and/or user-to-content) version of the IXP Country Jedi we work towards meaningful statistics and comparisons between countries/economies. This is something that a general-purpose probe-to-probe version is not able to capture. Evaluer la performance de l’entreprise induite par l’usage de portails web – Le cas du secteur touristique

Cette recherche vise à mieux comprendre la performance de l’entreprise liée à Internet en s’appuyant sur le modèle de l’alignement stratégique. A travers une approche contingente, le modèle conceptuel proposé met en avant la cohérence entre l’utilisation d’Internet, l’activité de l’entreprise, l’organisation et les technologies. Le modèle est ensuite appliqué aux principales compagnies appartenant au secteur du tourisme français. La méthodologie adoptée s’appuie sur un questionnaire auquel ont répondu 123 entreprises. Le test du modèle à l’aide des équations structurelles et l’analyse des données révèlent qu’il existe une relation particulièrement significative entre la cohérence des choix organisationnels et la performance Internet
