Statistical Learning in Automated Troubleshooting: Application to LTE Interference Mitigation
This paper presents a method for automated healing as part of off-line
automated troubleshooting. The method combines statistical learning with
constraint optimization. The automated healing aims at locally optimizing radio
resource management (RRM) or system parameters of cells with poor performance
in an iterative manner. The statistical learning processes the data using
Logistic Regression (LR) to extract closed form (functional) relations between
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Radio Resource Management (RRM)
parameters. These functional relations are then processed by an optimization
engine which proposes new parameter values. The advantage of the proposed
formulation is the small number of iterations required by the automated healing
method to converge, making it suitable for off-line implementation. The
proposed method is applied to heal an Inter-Cell Interference Coordination
(ICIC) process in a 3G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network which is based on
soft-frequency reuse scheme. Numerical simulations illustrate the benefits of
the proposed approach.Comment: IEEE Transactions On Vehicular Technology 2010 IEEE transactions on

Process mining: A recent framework for extracting a model from event logs
Business Process Management (BPM) is a well-known discipline, with roots in previous theories related with optimizing management and improving businesses results. One can trace BPM back to the beginning of this century, although it was in more recent years when it gained a special focus of attention. Usually, traditional BPM approaches start from top and analyse the organization according some known rules from its structure or from the type of business. Process Mining (PM) is a completely different approach, since it aims to extract knowledge from event logs, which are widely present in many of today’s organizations. PM uses specialized data-mining algorithms, trying to uncover patterns and trends in these logs, and it is an alternative approach where formal process specification is not easily obtainable or is not cost-effective. This paper makes a literature review of major works issued about this theme.(undefined
Manajemen Pembiayaan Pendidikan Di Sekolah
Financing Management is a process in optimizing existing funding sources, allocating available funds and distributing them as facilities or means of supporting the learning process so as to create an effective and efficient learning process. Education financing is an instrumental input component that is very important in preparing human resources through the implementation of education in schools. There is almost no educational effort that can be influenced by costs, so without the education process it will not work. The financial management process in schools includes: Budget planning, Strategy for finding sources of school funding, Use of school finances, Budget monitoring and evaluation and Accountability. School financial sources are: Financial sources and school financing are grouped into three, namely (1) Central and regional governments intended for educational purposes (2) Parents or students (3) Society.

A Kind of Change Management Method for Global Value Chain Optimization and Its Case Study
Any successful change in an organization requires an appropriate change management method and a process for involved staff and department to accept the change and become engaged in order to achieve its success. It is even more important and difficult to adopt a novel change management method to bring multiple organizations across the business value chain into the change implementation. This research does not focused on change management within a single organization but rather emphasizes a change management method, including an appropriate change framework, well-defined critical success factors (CSFs), and related tools for implementing change in multiple organizations. This article introduces one kind of change management method to support a process change through global value chain (GVC) in multiple organizations, and the method is used in a case study to achieve a successful change. In order to succeed in optimizing GVC performance, this research applies the proposed change management method to the case GVC, to support technical change by obtaining the staff's full commitment and engagement. The achieved results from the case study prove that successful change comes not only through technical solutions implemented in the problem process throughout the GVC but also through strong support and engagement from all organizations and involved staff. The proposed change management method not only helped the case GVC to implement change successfully but also can help the relevant multiple organizations to improve the GVC performance and add value by optimizing their problem process.©2021 IEEE. Studi Analisis Terhadap Peran Guru Mengoptimalisasi Manajemen Pembelajaran Agama Kristen
The purpose of this study is to see the extent to which the teacher's role in optimizing and improving the management of Christian religious learning. To obtain research data, the author uses a descriptive qualitative research approach by means of a literature review. The results of this study indicate that, firstly, the teacher's role in optimizing the management of Christian religious learning is very important, so the teacher as the main actor in this case needs to carry out his responsibilities and fulfill his calling and obligations to students. Second, the success of PAK teachers in learning can be seen from their competence, implementing management values well. The inability of teachers to optimize management values in PAK learning is the cause of student outputs who are unable to develop an educational mission. Therefore, improvements to the management of Christian religious learning must be carried out for the realization of effective learning. Third, learning management must be implemented by considering various developmental conditions that will later be realized in the learning process that is actualized by students. So in the context of learning management, it is a must for PAK teachers to plan learning management functions regularly, including techniques or methods to equip students to consistently interpret learning
Business Process Management for optimizing clinical processes: A systematic literature review
Business Process Management is a new strategy for process management that is having a major impact today. Mainly, its use is focused on the industrial, services, and business sector. However, in recent years, it has begun to apply for optimizing clinical processes. So far, no studies that evaluate its true impact on the healthcare sector have been found. This systematic review aims to assess the results of the application of Business Process Management methodology on clinical processes, analyzing whether it can become a useful tool to improve the effectiveness and quality of processes. We conducted a systematic literature review using ScienceDirect, Web of Science, Scopus, PubMed, and Springer databases. After the electronic search process in different databases, 18 articles met the pre-established requirements. The findings support the use of Business Process Management as an effective methodology to optimize clinical processes. Business Process Management has proven to be a feasible and useful methodology to design and optimize clinical processes, as well as to automate tasks. However, a more comprehensive follow-up of this methodology, better technological support, and greater involvement of all the clinical staff are factors that play a key role for the development of its true potential. This work was supported by the Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad of the Spanish Government (ref. An Analysis of Objective Reality towards Surgical Nursing Public Service Management at the Makassar Regional Hospital
The aim of this research was to describe, interpret, and analyze an objective reality of surgical nursing service management at Makassar Regional Hospital. A qualitative approach has been employed since the data were gathered through interviews, observation, and documentation. Some significant findings to emerge from this research are the general performance of surgical nursing service management at the Makassar Regional Hospital which have utilized management resources as inputs. Those are also determinably managed through proper managerial processes with some outputs referring to the hospital service standard indicator. The process of supervision in the context of surgical nursing service management automatically runs by forcing the implementation of valid Standard Operating Procedure in surgery. In line with that, the management evaluation have been done periodically but not in the context of core business process analysis. As a result, it is recommended for three features of the business process analysis to be further added: the first is by measuring the performance quality towards customers’ (patients) attributes for improving service accuracy and precision; the second is by updating the system to increase the process effectiveness of nursing service management through identified evaluation; and the last is by optimizing an efficient productivity
Analysis of macroeconomic factors affecting the investment potential of an enterprise
Purpose: The purpose of this article is the development of a model for optimizing the investment potential formation process for an enterprise based on the analysis of selected macroeconomic management factors. In the course of the study, it was decided to form four groups of macroeconomic indicators: indicators characterizing the overall development and efficiency of the Polish economy; indicators characterizing inflationary processes; indicators characterizing the dynamics of changes in the volumes of foreign and domestic trade of Poland; data that allow assessing the level of public debt and the state budget deficit of Poland. Design/Methodology/Approach: The research methodology is based on the use of the following methods: a descriptive statistics method; the method of grouping statistical data; the method of correlation analysis, as well as the regression analysis method. Findings: The results of the correlation analysis allowed to identify three factors that most affect the economic growth in the country and on this basis to develop a model for optimizing the investment potential formation process for an enterprise. Practical Implications: The model developed by the authors and the resulting rating of macroeconomic factors influencing the process of formation of investment resources can be the scientific rationale for the process of optimization and intensification of investment processes (development processes) in Polish enterprises. Originality/Value: The results of the correlation analysis allowed us to identify three factors that most affect the economic growth in the country and on this basis to develop a model for optimizing the investment potential formation process for an enterprise.peer-reviewe
A model‐based solution for process modeling in practice environments: PLM4BS
Today's world economic situation is ruled by issues such as reducing cost, improving
quality, maximizing profit, and improving and optimizing processes at organizations. In
this context, business process management can be an essential strategy, but it is not
usually consolidated at software organizations because software process properties
involve a complex business process management application on software lifecycle.
Consequently, software organizations often focus on Software Process Modeling
(SPM), and each involved role performs process execution and orchestration independently
and manually. This fact makes software processes maintenance, monitoring,
and measurement become difficult tasks. This paper proposes a model‐based
approach for SPM taking into account concepts related to process execution, orchestration,
and monitoring. It is framed into a model‐driven engineering‐based and toolbased
framework: Process Lifecycle Management for Business Software (PLM4BS).
We present a SPM metamodel and its concrete syntax (through Unified Modeling
Language profiles) that lays the foundation for extending PLM4BS. Its underlying
metamodel allows managing processes automatically. Furthermore, PLM4BS improves
current state‐of‐the‐art proposals in 6 dimensions: expressiveness, understandability,
granularity, measurability, orchestrability, and business variables and rules. Also,
PLM4BS has been evaluated in a multiple‐case study, in which the 6 mentioned
dimensions were already validated.Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad TIN2016‐76956‐C3‐2‐RMinisterio de Economía y Competitividad TIN2015‐71938‐RED
