    Der vorliegende Beitrag untersucht den aktuellen Stand der Eyetracking-Forschung in der deutschsprachigen Wirtschaftsinformatik und im anglo-amerikanischen Disziplinpendant Information System Research. Er basiert auf einer Literaturanalyse, in der recherchierte BeitrĂ€ge aus wissenschaftlich reprĂ€sentativen Publikationsorganen sowohl inhaltlich als auch methodisch abgegrenzt werden. Auf Basis der Analyse und Synthese werden Anwendungspotenziale und Forschungsbedarfe aus Sicht der gestaltungsorientierten Wirtschaftsinformatik aufgezeigt. Forschungspotenzial besteht fĂŒr Arbeiten, die sich mit der Entwicklung, dem Einsatz und Nutzen von Informations- und Kommunikationssystemen befassen und Eyetracking im Erkenntnisprozess einsetzen. DarĂŒber hinaus kann eine Forschungslandkarte den Diskurs innerhalb der Disziplin unterstĂŒtzen

    Kooperation nimmt in der heutigen Welt einen immer wichtigeren Stellenwert sowohl in Unternehmen als auch im Privatleben von Akteuren ein. Digitale Plattformen helfen Akteure raum- und zeitunabhĂ€ngig zu vernetzen und eröffnen neue Möglichkeiten fĂŒr Kooperationen, die im reinen offline Kontext nicht denkbar gewesen wĂ€ren, wie zum Beispiel Crowdfunding oder der simultane Austausch von Wissen zwischen tausenden von Akteuren. Jedoch agieren nicht alle Akteure kooperativ auf diesen Plattformen, wodurch sie anderen Akteuren, aber auch der Plattform selbst schaden. Demnach ist es entscheidend durch gezieltes Gestalten dieser Plattformen einen kooperativen Austausch zwischen den Akteuren zu fördern und zu unterstĂŒtzen. Um Plattformen entsprechend gestalten zu können ist es allerdings notwendig gegenseitige (reziproke) Austauschbeziehungen zwischen den Akteuren erklĂ€ren und voraussagen zu können. In zwei Studien, die wiederum jeweils aus drei analog aufgebauten Teilstudien bestehen, wurden im Kontext des Crowdfunding und des Wissensaustauschs untersucht, in wie weit das Signalisieren von reziproken Eigenschaften einen Einfluss auf den Austausch auf diesen Plattformen hat. Zu diesem Zweck wurde in den Teilstudien I und II zunĂ€chst versucht diesen Zusammenhang statistisch zu erklĂ€ren, bevor in den Teilstudien III durch maschinelles Lernen Prognoseverfahren erstellt wurden. Die Evaluierung der Ergebnisse hat gezeigt, dass die erklĂ€rungsorientierten AnsĂ€tze aus den Teilstudien I und II einen nur mĂ€ĂŸigen ErklĂ€rungsbeitrag liefern, wĂ€hrend die in den Teilstudien III gestalteten Prognoseverfahren verlĂ€ssliche Ergebnisse liefern mit Genauigkeiten von bis zu 89,4%. Durch die entwickelten Verfahren lassen sich mehrere AnwendungsfĂ€lle fĂŒr den Einsatz im Crowdfunding oder Wissensaustausch generieren. Zum Beispiel wĂ€re ein Einsatz zum Schutz der Reputation von Plattformen oder zum Nudging von Akteuren zu einem kooperativeren Verhalten denkbar, insbesondere aber auch zur Gestaltung neuer digitaler Dienste (E-Services). Durch eine Abstraktion der Ergebnisse zeigt sich zudem weiteres Nutzenpotenzial, außerhalb des zuvor betrachteten Kontexts, da die hier entwickelten Methoden und Verfahren auch konzeptionell genutzt werden können, um individuellere und innovativere allgemeingĂŒltige Dienste zu schaffen, die durch eine personennĂ€here Gestaltung einen gesteigerten Mehrwert fĂŒr Akteure bieten können.In today's world, cooperation is becoming increasingly important both in companies and in the private lives of actors. Digital platforms help actors to network independent of time and space and open up new possibilities for cooperation that could not have been realised in a purely offline context, such as crowdfunding or the simultaneous exchange of knowledge between thousands of actors. However, not all actors act cooperatively on these platforms, which harms other actors as well as the platform itself. Therefore, it is crucial to promote and support a cooperative exchange between the actors by specifically designing these platforms. In order to design platforms accordingly, it is necessary to explain and predict mutual (reciprocal) exchange between the actors. In two studies, each of which consists of three analogous sub-studies, the extent to which the signaling of reciprocal characteristics has an influence on the exchange on these platforms was examined in the context of crowdfunding and knowledge exchange. In sub-studies I and II this relationship was statistically explained before in the third sub- study prediction methods were developed through machine learning. The evaluation of the results has shown that the explanation-oriented approaches of the sub-studies I and II provide only a moderate contribution to the explanation of variance, whereas the prediction procedures designed in the sub-studies III provide reliable results with accuracies of up to 89.4%. The developed methods allow the generation of several use cases for use in crowdfunding or knowledge exchange. Example applications are the protection of the reputation of platforms, the nudging of actors towards a more cooperative behaviour or the design of new digital services (e-services). The abstraction of the results also reveals further potential benefits outside the previously considered context, since the methods and procedures developed here can also be used conceptually to create more individual and innovative services of general validity, which can offer increased added value for actors through a more personalized design
