    Kebutuhan akan fleksibilitas dan akses yang cepat menjadikan aplikasi berbasis mobile semakin banyak digunakan, termasuk dalam bidang pendidikan dan literasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan metode Scrum dalam pengembangan perangkat lunak mobile dengan mengkaji peran strategis Scrum Master. Scrum dikenal sebagai metode pengembangan aplikasi yang dinamis dan adaptif. Adapun tahapan dalam Scrum terdiri dari fase analisis kebutuhan sistem, design sistem, pengujian sistem, dan penerimaan produk. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara sebagai cara pengumpulan data. Hasil wawancara kemudian direduksi, dianalisis dengan analisis dari literature, kemudian disajikan, dan disimpulkan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 88 Jakarta sebagai lokasi penerapan aplikasi perpustakaan online berbasis Android. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran strategis Scrum Master diantaranya adalah mengelola ekspektasi roles, perubahan resistensi, menepati jadwal, permintaan perubahan yang mendesak, dan pendistribusian tim. Peran strategis ini menjadi dasar untuk penunjukan atau pemilihan Scrum Master hendaknya mempertimbangkan dan dikualifikasi berdasarkan poin-poin tersebu

    Roles and responsibilities in agile ICT for development

    This paper examines the different roles in designing interactive software in a ICT for development context. Using experiences from a participatory action research project, in which we used agile methods to design and deploy an system to support ‘agricultural information flow’ for a co-operative of small farmers in rural India, we identify points of difference between the roles in standard descriptions of agile software methods and the roles as they emerged in our project. A key finding is the critical role played by a ‘Development Project Manager’ in facilitating dialogue, orchestrating the activities of other actors and in building the capabilities and confidence of all the participants in joint action

    A Scrum-based approach to CMMI maturity level 2 in Web Development environments

    Scrum has become one of the most popular agile methodologies, either alone or combined with other agile practices. Besides, CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) is accepted as a suitable model to measure the maturity of the organizations when developing or acquiring software. Although these two approaches are often considered antagonist, the use of an agile approach to reach certain CMMI maturity levels may result beneficial to organizations that develop Web systems, since they would take the advantages of both approaches. In Web community, this union may be very interesting, because agile approaches fits with the special needs of Web development, and they could be a useful tool for companies getting a certain grade of maturity. This work analyzes the goals of CMMI maturity level 2 and the feasibility of achieving them using the practices proposed by Scrum, trying to assess whether the use of this methodology is suitable for meeting the CMMI generic and specific goals or not.     A mobile application-based academic information system is an information system that provides academic information for students and lecturers that can be accessed from mobile devices from anywhere. With the existence of a mobile application-based academic information system, students and lecturers can be given alternatives to carry out academic activities on an online academic information system from mobile devices so as to provide convenience and flexibility. The research method was carried out by conducting interviews with lecturers and several students to obtain information about the needs of the academic information system. Meanwhile, the system designer's method uses the Scrum. Scrum is a framework that is suitable to be implemented in making academic information systems because Scrum is used in a work context that is quite complicated where cases cannot be predicted. The result of the implementation is that some of the information in the academic information system that can be accessed is the siakad login page, the siakad dashboard, and others so that it can maximize academic activities which of course can also make it easier for students and lecturers to get services and information about academic matters

    Program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) adalah program yang ditetapkan oleh Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan yang mendorong mahasiswa untuk menguasai darii berbagai disiplin ilmu untuk mempersiapkan mereka dalam dunia kerja. Untuk mewujudkan peraturan tersebut Universitas PGRI Kanjuruhan Malang membutuhkan software untuk memonitoring mahasiswa agar bisa mengetahui permasalahan yang ada saat mengikuti program MBKM. Sehubungan dengan program MBKM sudah berjalan dan proses monitoring sudah dilaksanakan maka diperlukannya metode pengembangan system yang efektif guna terciptanya aplikasi optimal. Dalam pengembangan sistem yang umum digunakan yaitu Agile Scrum. Agile Scrum merupakkan sebuah kerangka kerja software development yang sering diterapkan pada pembuatan website, aplikasi web, dan aplikasi mobile yang berfokus untuk menghasilkan aplikasi berkualitas dan konsisten. Agile Scrum memfasilitasi implementasi proyek pemangku kepentingan karena perencanaan lebih mudah dipahami dan pengembangan lebih fleksibel. Tujuan penerapan Agile Scrum yaitu untuk mengembangkan sistem informasi yang dapat mempercepat proses pengiriman sehingga mencapai tujuan yang telah ditetapkan. Peneliti memilih menggunakan kerangka kerja agile scrum karena pengembangan sistem yang lebih ramah terhadap perubahan.
