The enablers and implementation model for mobile KMS in Australian healthcare

In this research project, the enablers in implementing mobile KMS in Australian regional healthcare will be investigated, and a validated framework and guidelines to assist healthcare in implementing mobile KMS will also be proposed with both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The outcomes for this study are expected to improve the understanding the enabling factors in implementing mobile KMS in Australian healthcare, as well as provide better guidelines for this process

The 29 June 2012 conference, entitled "How to communicate about the European Citizens' Initiative?" falls within the ambit of a project launched by our partner ECAS (European Citizen Action Service). Since 2010, Toute l'Europe has gone into partnership with ECAS, in order to contribute to the creation of the European Civil Society House which aims to make available to European citizens, both physically and virtually, an assistance platform for the following tools:The European Citizens' Initiative (ECI);The European Parliament's system of petitions;The referral of cases to the European Ombudsman;The complaint procedure before the European Commission; andAccess to the documentary resources of the European institutions

An improved chaos method for monitoring the depth of anaesthesia

This paper proposed a new method to monitor the depth of anaesthesia (DoA) by modifying the Hurst parameters in Chaos method. Two new indices (CDoA and CsDoA) are proposed to estimate the anaesthesia states of patients. In order to reduce the fluctuation of CDoA and CsDoA trends, the Chaos and Modified Detrended Average methods (C-MDMA) are combined together. Compared with Bispectrum (BIS) index, CDoA, the CsDoA and C-MDMA trends are close to the BIS trend in the whole scale from 100 to 0 with a full recording time
