    Realities and prospects of distance learning at higher education institutions of Ukraine

    The paper deals with the issue of realities and prospects of distance learning at higher education institutions of Ukraine. Distance learning in Ukraine has been implementing for more than twenty years and distant learning technologies are used at most Ukrainian higher education institutions, but the necessity and feasibility of the introduction and development of remote technology is questionable both to faculty and students. The main purpose of this paper is to synthesize the real state of distance learning in Ukraine and outline its development prospects at higher education institutions of Ukraine. The paper represents the analysis of the survey results of student answers of four classical, pedagogical, maritime and agrotechnological higher education institutions regarding the practical implementation of distance learning in their institutions. The study of the realities of distance learning in the practice of higher education institutions in Ukraine has been conducted among 102 students. The questions concerned student attitude to distance learning, distance learning organisation, advantages and disadvantages of distance learning

    The review of the adaptive learning systems for the formation of individual educational trajectory

    The article is devoted to the review of the adaptive learning systems. We considered the modern state and relevance of usage of the adaptive learning systems to be a useful tool of the formation of individual educational trajectory for achieving the highest level of intellectual development according to the natural abilities and inclination with the help of formation of individual trajectory of education, the usage of adaptive tests for monitoring of the quality of acquired knowledge, the formation of complicated model of the knowledge assessment, building of the complicated model of the subject of education, in particular considering the social-emotional characteristics. The existing classification of the adaptive learning systems was researched. We provide the comparative analysis of relevant adaptive learning systems according to the sphere of usage, the type of adaptive learning, the functional purpose, the integration with the existing Learning Management Systems, the appliance of modern technologies of generation and discernment of natural language and courseware features, ratings are based on CWiC Framework for Digital Learning. We conducted the research of the geography of usage of the systems by the institutions of higher education. We describe the perspectives of effective usage of adaptive systems of learning for the implementation and support of new strategies of learning and teaching and improvement of results of studies

Сучасний стан та актуальність використання адаптивних систем навчання ми вважали корисним інструментом формування індивідуальної освітньої траєкторії для досягнення найвищого рівня інтелектуального розвитку відповідно до природних здібностей та нахилів за допомогою формування індивідуальної траєкторії освіти, використання адаптивних тестів для моніторингу якості набутих знань, формування складної моделі оцінки знань, побудова складної моделі суб’єкта освіти, зокрема з урахуванням соціально-емоційних особливостей. Досліджено існуючу класифікацію адаптивних систем навчання. Ми пропонуємо порівняльний аналіз відповідних адаптивних систем навчання відповідно до сфери використання, типу адаптивного навчання, функціональної мети, інтеграції з існуючими системами управління навчанням, застосування сучасних технологій генерування та розрізнення природної мови та курсового забезпечення функції, рейтинги базуються на CWiC Framework для цифрового навчання. Ми провели дослідження географії використання систем вищими навчальними закладами. Ми описуємо перспективи ефективного використання адаптивних систем навчання для впровадження та підтримки нових стратегій навчання та викладання та покращення результатів навчання

    Increase of the level of graphic competence future bachelor in computer sciences in the process of studying three-dimensional modeling

    The article deals with the examination of distinct aspects of the application of 3D modeling technologies as the promising trend, which found its application in the process of creation of models for 3D printout, virtual and augmented reality, in the process of development of gameplays, in modeling of objects for educational aims etc. The urgency of the study of the 3D model processing considering the conditions by bachelors of computer sciences, nominated by competitive environment of labour market has been defined. The necessity of improvement of methods of graphical discipline teaching and the actuality of the introduction of the study of 3D modeling technologies in the process of professional training of future bachelors of computer sciences as a promising trend considering the demands of labour market and as the factor raising the level of student motivation to a professional activity in general and the formation level of graphical competence in particular have been grounded. The methodological support of the course has been described, the aim and content of the study of the “Computer Graphics” discipline have been presented. The structure and the content of theoretical and practical parts of the course have been provided, which are oriented to the use of the 3D graphical Autodesk Maya processor. The algorithm has been examined and the stages of creation of organic form objects have been described on the example of modeling of game characters and the algorithm of creation of 3D surroundings on the example of modeling of the game level interior. The certain aspects of informational and communicational support of the “Computer Graphics” course have been examined, within the frames of which the approbation of the developed educational and methodological complex has been performed

The study of the realities of distance learning in the practice of higher education institutions in Ukraine has been conducted among 102 students. The questions concerned student attitude to distance learning, distance learning organisation, advantages and disadvantages of distance learning. The research results allow researchers to identify the realities of distance learning in Ukraine consisting in provision students with the access to distance learning at most higher education institutions. Certain prospects of distance learning development in Ukraine such as updating the software, hardware and material resources of higher education institutions, providing the broadband access to the Internet to higher education institutions of Ukraine are highlighted. It has been noted that ensuring the process of obtaining an educational degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s degrees) at higher education institutions of Ukraine is possible by taking massive open distance courses
