    Get PDF
In this paper, stochastic fuzzy Cohen–Grossberg neural networks with discrete and distributed delays are investigated. By using Lyapunov function and the Ito differential formula, some sufficient conditions for the pth moment exponential stability of such stochastic fuzzy Cohen–Grossberg neural networks with discrete and distributed delays are established. An example is given to illustrate the feasibility of our main theoretical findings. Finally, the paper ends with a brief conclusion. Methodology and achieved results is to be presented

State Estimation for Discrete-Time Fuzzy Cellular Neural Networks with Mixed Time Delays

    Get PDF
This paper is concerned with the exponential state estimation problem for a class of discrete-time fuzzy cellular neural networks with mixed time delays. The main purpose is to estimate the neuron states through available output measurements such that the dynamics of the estimation error is globally exponentially stable. By constructing a novel Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional which contains a triple summation term, some sufficient conditions are derived to guarantee the existence of the state estimator. The linear matrix inequality approach is employed for the first time to deal with the fuzzy cellular neural networks in the discrete-time case. Compared with the present conditions in the form of M-matrix, the results obtained in this paper are less conservative and can be checked readily by the MATLAB toolbox. Finally, some numerical examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed results

Asymptotic Stability and Exponential Stability of Impulsive Delayed Hopfield Neural Networks

A criterion for the uniform asymptotic stability of the equilibrium point of impulsive delayed Hopfield neural networks is presented by using Lyapunov functions and linear matrix inequality approach. The criterion is a less restrictive version of a recent result. By means of constructing the extended impulsive Halanay inequality, we also analyze the exponential stability of impulsive delayed Hopfield neural networks. Some new sufficient conditions ensuring exponential stability of the equilibrium point of impulsive delayed Hopfield neural networks are obtained. An example showing the effectiveness of the present criterion is given

Fixed Points and Exponential Stability for Impulsive Time-Delays BAM Neural Networks via LMI Approach and Contraction Mapping Principle

    Get PDF
The fixed point technique has been employed in the stability analysis of time-delays bidirectional associative memory (BAM) neural networks with impulse. By formulating a contraction mapping in a product space, a new LMI-based exponential stability criterion was derived. Lately, fixed point methods have educed various good results inspiring this work, but those criteria cannot be programmed by a computer. In this paper, LMI conditions of the obtained result can be applicable to computer Matlab LMI toolbox which meets the need of the large-scale calculation in real engineering. Moreover, a numerical example and a comparable table are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods

Existence and Exponential Stability of Equilibrium Point for Fuzzy BAM Neural Networks with Infinitely Distributed Delays and Impulses on Time Scales

    Get PDF
By using the fixed point theorem and constructing a Lyapunov functional, we establish some sufficient conditions on the existence, uniqueness, and exponential stability of equilibrium point for a class of fuzzy BAM neural networks with infinitely distributed delays and impulses on time scales. We also present a numerical example to show the feasibility of obtained results. Our example also shows that the described time and continuous neural time networks have the same dynamic behaviours for the stability

Global stability of Clifford-valued Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy neural networks with time-varying delays and impulses

    Get PDF
summary:In this study, we consider the Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy model to examine the global asymptotic stability of Clifford-valued neural networks with time-varying delays and impulses. In order to achieve the global asymptotic stability criteria, we design a general network model that includes quaternion-, complex-, and real-valued networks as special cases. First, we decompose the nn-dimensional Clifford-valued neural network into 2mn2^mn-dimensional real-valued counterparts in order to solve the noncommutativity of Clifford numbers multiplication. Then, we prove the new global asymptotic stability criteria by constructing an appropriate Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals (LKFs) and employing Jensen's integral inequality together with the reciprocal convex combination method. All the results are proven using linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Finally, a numerical example is provided to show the effectiveness of the achieved results

Finite-time synchronization of Markovian neural networks with proportional delays and discontinuous activations

    Get PDF
In this paper, finite-time synchronization of neural networks (NNs) with discontinuous activation functions (DAFs), Markovian switching, and proportional delays is studied in the framework of Filippov solution. Since proportional delay is unbounded and different from infinite-time distributed delay and classical finite-time analytical techniques are not applicable anymore, new 1-norm analytical techniques are developed. Controllers with and without the sign function are designed to overcome the effects of the uncertainties induced by Filippov solutions and further synchronize the considered NNs in a finite time. By designing new Lyapunov functionals and using M-matrix method, sufficient conditions are derived to guarantee that the considered NNs realize synchronization in a settling time without introducing any free parameters. It is shown that, though the proportional delay can be unbounded, complete synchronization can still be realized, and the settling time can be explicitly estimated. Moreover, it is discovered that controllers with sign function can reduce the control gains, while controllers without the sign function can overcome chattering phenomenon. Finally, numerical simulations are given to show the effectiveness of theoretical results

Almost Periodic Dynamics for Memristor-Based Shunting Inhibitory Cellular Neural Networks with Leakage Delays

    Get PDF
We investigate a class of memristor-based shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks with leakage delays. By applying a new Lyapunov function method, we prove that the neural network which has a unique almost periodic solution is globally exponentially stable. Moreover, the theoretical findings of this paper on the almost periodic solution are applied to prove the existence and stability of periodic solution for memristor-based shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks with leakage delays and periodic coefficients. An example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results. The results obtained in this paper are completely new and complement the previously known studies of Wu (2011) and Chen and Cao (2002)
