    Decision making in reinsurance with induced OWA operators and Minkowski distances

    The decision to choose a reinsurance program has many complexities because it is difficult to simultaneously achieve high levels in different optimal criteria including maximum gain, minimum variance, and probability of ruin. This article suggests a new method by which, through membership functions, we can measure the distance of each alternative to an optimal result and aggregate it by using different types of aggregations. In this article, particular attention is given to the induced Minkowski ordered weighted averaging distance operator and the induced Minkowski probabilistic ordered weighted averaging distance operator. The main advantage of these operators is that they include a wide range of special cases. Thus, they can adapt efficiently to the specific needs of the calculation processes. By doing so, the reinsurance system can make better decisions by using different scenarios in the uncertain environment considered

    A Novel Multiple Attribute Satisfaction Evaluation Approach with Hesitant Intuitionistic Linguistic Fuzzy Information

    This paper investigates the multiple attribute decision making (MADM) problems in which the attribute values take the form of hesitant intuitionistic linguistic fuzzy element (HILFE). Firstly, motivated by the idea of intuitionistic linguistic variables (ILVs) and hesitant fuzzy elements (HFEs), the concept, operational laws, and comparison laws of HILFE are defined. Then, some aggregation operators are developed for aggregating the hesitant intuitionistic linguistic fuzzy information, such as hesitant intuitionistic linguistic fuzzy weighted aggregation operators, hesitant intuitionistic linguistic fuzzy ordered weighted aggregation operators, and generalized hesitant intuitionistic linguistic fuzzy weighted aggregation operators. Moreover, some desirable properties of these operators and the relationships between them are discussed. Based on the hesitant intuitionistic linguistic fuzzy weighted average (HILFWA) operator and the hesitant intuitionistic linguistic fuzzy weighted geometric (HILFWG) operator, an approach for evaluating satisfaction degree is proposed under hesitant intuitionistic linguistic fuzzy environment. Finally, a practical example of satisfaction evaluation for milk products is given to illustrate the application of the proposed method and to demonstrate its practicality and effectiveness

    Triangular Cubic Hesitant Fuzzy Einstein Hybrid Weighted Averaging Operator and Its Application to Decision Making

    In this paper, triangular cubic hesitant fuzzy Einstein weighted averaging (TCHFEWA) operator, triangular cubic hesitant fuzzy Einstein ordered weighted averaging (TCHFEOWA) operator and triangular cubic hesitant fuzzy Einstein hybrid weighted averaging (TCHFEHWA) operator are proposed. An approach to multiple attribute group decision making with linguistic information is developed based on the TCHFEWA and the TCHFEHWA operators. Furthermore, we establish various properties of these operators and derive the relationship between the proposed operators and the existing aggregation operators. Finally, a numerical example is provided to demonstrate the application of the established approach

    Interval Entropy of Fuzzy Sets and the Application to Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decision Making

    A series of new concepts including interval entropy, interval similarity measure, interval distance measure, and interval inclusion measure of fuzzy sets are introduced. Meanwhile, some theorems and corollaries are proposed to show how these definitions can be deduced from each other. And then, based on interval entropy, a fuzzy multiple attribute decision making (FMADM) model is set up. In this model, interval entropy is used as the weight, by which the evaluation values of all alternatives can be obtained. Then all alternatives with respect to each criterion can be ranked as the order of the evaluation values. At last, a practical example is given to illustrate an application of the developed model and a comparative analysis is made
