    Get PDF
We investigate the multiple attribute decision-making (MADM) problems with hesitant triangular fuzzy information. Firstly, definition and some operational laws of hesitant triangular fuzzy elements are introduced. Then, we develop some hesitant triangular fuzzy aggregation operators based on Bonferroni means and discuss their basic properties. Some existing operators can be viewed as their special cases. Next, we apply the proposed operators to deal with multiple attribute decision-making problems under hesitant triangular fuzzy environment. Finally, an illustrative example is given to show the developed method and demonstrate its practicality and effectiveness

In this paper, triangular cubic hesitant fuzzy Einstein weighted averaging (TCHFEWA) operator, triangular cubic hesitant fuzzy Einstein ordered weighted averaging (TCHFEOWA) operator and triangular cubic hesitant fuzzy Einstein hybrid weighted averaging (TCHFEHWA) operator are proposed. An approach to multiple attribute group decision making with linguistic information is developed based on the TCHFEWA and the TCHFEHWA operators. Furthermore, we establish various properties of these operators and derive the relationship between the proposed operators and the existing aggregation operators. Finally, a numerical example is provided to demonstrate the application of the established approach

Edge detection on DICOM image using triangular norms in Type-2 fuzzy

    Get PDF
In image processing, edge detection is an important venture. Fuzzy logic plays a vital role in image processing to deal with lacking in quality of an image or imprecise in nature. This present study contributes an authentic method of fuzzy edge detection through image segmentation. Gradient of the image is done by triangular norms to extract the information. Triangular norms (T norms) and triangular conorms (T conorms) are specialized in dealing uncertainty. Therefore triangular norms are chosen with minimum and maximum operators for the purpose of morphological operations. Also, mathematical properties of aggregation operator to represent the role of morphological operations using Triangular Interval Type-2 Fuzzy Yager Weighted Geometric (TIT2FYWG) and Triangular Interval Type-2 Fuzzy Yager Weighted Arithmetic (TIT2FYWA) operators are derived. These properties represent the components of image processing. Here Edge detection is done for DICOM image by converting into 2D gray scale image, using Type-2 fuzzy MATLAB and which is the novelty of this work

The article investigates the multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problems in which the attribute values take the form of triangular fuzzy information. Motivated by the ideal of power aggregation, in this paper some power aggregation operators for aggregating triangular fuzzy information are developed and then applied in order to develop some models for multiple attribute group decision making with triangular fuzzy information. Finally, some illustrative examples are given to verify the developed approach and to demonstrate its practicality and effectiveness

Choquet integrals of weighted triangular fuzzy linguistic information and their applications to multiple attribute decision making

We investigate the multiple attribute decision making problems in which attribute values take the form of triangular fuzzy linguistic information. Firstly, the definition and some operational laws of triangular fuzzy linguistic are introduced. Then, we have developed three fuzzy linguistic Choquet integral aggregation operators: fuzzy linguistic choquet ordered averaging operator, fuzzy linguistic choquet ordered geometric operator and fuzzy linguistic choquet ordered harmonic mean operator. The prominent characteristic of the operators is that they cannot only consider the importance of the elements or their ordered positions, but also reflect the correlation among the elements or their ordered positions. We have studied some desirable properties of these operators, such as commutativity, idempotency and monotonicity, and applied these operators to multiple attribute decision making with triangular fuzzy linguistic information. Finally an illustrative example has been given to show the developed method

Construction of aggregation operators with noble reinforcement

This paper examines disjunctive aggregation operators used in various recommender systems. A specific requirement in these systems is the property of noble reinforcement: allowing a collection of high-valued arguments to reinforce each other while avoiding reinforcement of low-valued arguments. We present a new construction of Lipschitz-continuous aggregation operators with noble reinforcement property and its refinements. <br /

An Extended VIKOR Method for Multiple Criteria Group Decision Making with Triangular Fuzzy Neutrosophic Numbers

    Get PDF
In this article, we combine the original VIKOR model with a triangular fuzzy neutrosophic set to propose the triangular fuzzy neutrosophic VIKOR method. In the extended method, we use the triangular fuzzy neutrosophic numbers (TFNNs) to present the criteria values in multiple criteria group decision making (MCGDM) problems. Firstly, we summarily introduce the fundamental concepts, operation formulas and distance calculating method of TFNNs. Then we review some aggregation operators of TFNNs. Thereafter, we extend the original VIKOR model to the triangular fuzzy neutrosophic environment and introduce the calculating steps of the TFNNs VIKOR method, our proposed method which is more reasonable and scientific for considering the conflicting criteria. Furthermore, a numerical example for potential evaluation of emerging technology commercialization is presented to illustrate the new method, and some comparisons are also conducted to further illustrate advantages of the new method

Aggregation functions for typical hesitant fuzzy elements and the action of automorphisms

    Get PDF
This work studies the aggregation operators on the set of all possible membership degrees of typical hesitant fuzzy sets, which we refer to as H, as well as the action of H-automorphisms which are defined over the set of all finite non-empty subsets of the unitary interval. In order to do so, the partial order ≤H, based on α-normalization, is introduced, leading to a comparison based on selecting the greatest membership degrees of the related fuzzy sets. Additionally, the idea of interval representation is extended to the context of typical hesitant aggregation functions named as the H-representation. As main contribution, we consider the class of finite hesitant triangular norms, studying their properties and analyzing the H-conjugate functions over such operators. © 2013 Elsevier Inc.
