Shortest Route at Dynamic Location with Node Combination-Dijkstra Algorithm

Abstract— Online transportation has become a basic requirement of the general public in support of all activities to go to work, school or vacation to the sights. Public transportation services compete to provide the best service so that consumers feel comfortable using the services offered, so that all activities are noticed, one of them is the search for the shortest route in picking the buyer or delivering to the destination. Node Combination method can minimize memory usage and this methode is more optimal when compared to A* and Ant Colony in the shortest route search like Dijkstra algorithm, but can’t store the history node that has been passed. Therefore, using node combination algorithm is very good in searching the shortest distance is not the shortest route. This paper is structured to modify the node combination algorithm to solve the problem of finding the shortest route at the dynamic location obtained from the transport fleet by displaying the nodes that have the shortest distance and will be implemented in the geographic information system in the form of map to facilitate the use of the system. The Making of a Radical Poetics: Modernist Forms in the Work of Bob Cobbing : Elements for an Exegesis of Cobbing’s Art

I survey Cobbing’s considerable and varied output, placing it initially into approximate chronological phases. I discern formal and aesthetic traits and their development over time. I attempt to place the work within wider poetic and artistic traditions, namely avant-gardism, the British Poetry Revival, sound and visual poetry, and the exploration of artistic form. I propose an understanding of flow as an intersection of two axes: linear temporality (flow time) which exists outside of social time, and multidimensional or constellatory spatiality which is generated by certain artistic works. The body bridges social time and flow time through creative gestures and by unifying temporal elements. I trace the features of abstraction as they emerged throughout roughly the first half of the twentieth century in visual art, sound poetry and lexical poetry. I define poetic and artistic form, noting that radical works explore traditional boundaries of space, and discusses the politics of form. I examine theories of perception to arrive at a synthesis of form and perception in what I term the Event, where the engaged perceiver participates with the radical work in what constitutes a revolutionary activity. I include close readings of Cobbing’s Jade-Sound Poems, Domestic Ambient Noise and a sound performance of Container Leaks, applying my findings with regard to flow, abstraction, the politics of form, perception and space. The thesis concludes that Cobbing’s work, which constitutes a new poetics and exemplifies avant-gardist practice as a breaking out of old forms, can inspire radical modes of living if we engage creatively with the world. I believe this work provides a comprehensive exegesis for understanding Cobbing’s challenging work in relation to addresses to form and perception, an interpretation which is currently missing from the critical field

LITEMA REVIVAL OF A DISAPPEARING ART

Published ThesisLitema (pronounced di-tee-ma) is a Sesotho word that means ‘to plough’ or ‘cultivate’. It describes an indigenous mural art practised by women in Lesotho and the Free State province of South Africa. By beautifying freshly plastered homestead walls, Basotho mural artists acknowledge their natural and modern environments, whilst also celebrating seasonal and commemorative events such as Good Friday and Christmas, births, initiations, weddings and funerals. Embellishments comprise of paintings, engravings, relief sculpting and stone mosaics. Although this century-old art form has managed to survive the impact of, to mention a few, modernization, commercialization, and urbanization; early and current research shows that the tradition is both transitional and in decline. For Litema knowledge to survive, it is imperative that the current design is preserved, the art form revived, and the indigenous knowledge sustained. The objective of this study involves revisiting, conserving, promoting, and reintroducing the art form. A National Lotteries Trust Fund (NLDTF) grant awarded the Central University of Technology Free State (CUT) in 2005, enabled the implementation of eight Revival of Litema projects, which collectively strived to achieve these goals. The process involved the expansion of Litema knowledge through continued photographic and written documentation. The preservation and reintroduction of this knowledge presented in the form of a celebration of Litema during Heritage Month, a Litema website, an illustrated book, a design manual, a permanent mural and photographic installation, prototypical Litema products and a Litema DVD. Various ethical and creative considerations guided the assembly, presentation, and dissemination of data. This study contributes towards the lacuna in Litema research with a particular focus on artworks located in the Eastern Free State whilst building on the discourse around ethically appropriate indigenous knowledge research. It calls for the establishment of a visual and an oral archive devoted to, but not necessarily limited to Litema, in order to safeguard this fading façade in the landscape of South African art and heritage

Critical Thinking Skills Profile of High School Students In Learning Science-Physics

This study aims to describe Critical Thinking Skills high school students in the city of Makassar. To achieve this goal, the researchers conducted an analysis of student test results of 200 people scattered in six schools in the city of Makassar. The results of the quantitative descriptive analysis of the data found that the average value of students doing the interpretation, analysis, and inference in a row by 1.53, 1.15, and 1.52. This value is still very low when compared with the maximum value that may be obtained by students, that is equal to 10.00. This shows that the critical thinking skills of high school students are still very low. One fact Competency Standards science subjects-Physics is demonstrating the ability to think logically, critically, and creatively with the guidance of teachers and demonstrate the ability to solve simple problems in daily life. Advances in Deep Learning Towards Fire Emergency Application : Novel Architectures, Techniques and Applications of Neural Networks

However, there are still many significant challenges that limit the use of deep learning in the latter application domain. In this thesis, we address some of these challenges and propose novel deep learning methods and architectures. The challenges we address fall in these three areas of emergency management: Detection of the emergency (fire), Analysis of the situation without human intervention and finally Evacuation Planning. In this thesis, we have used computer vision tasks of image classification and semantic segmentation, as well as sound recognition, for detection and analysis. Unequal Lives

As we move further into the twenty-first century, we are witnessing both the global extensification and local intensification of inequality. Unequal Lives deals with the particular dilemmas of inequality in the Western Pacific.
