Digital speech watermarking is a robust way to hide and thus secure data like audio and video from any intentional or unintentional manipulation through transmission. In terms of some signal characteristics including bandwidth, voice/non-voice and production model, digital speech signal is different from audio, music and other signals. Although, various review articles on image, audio and video watermarking are available, there are still few review papers on digital speech watermarking. Therefore this article presents an overview of digital speech watermarking including issues of robustness, capacity and imperceptibility. Other issues discussed are types of digital speech watermarking, application, models and masking methods. This article further highlights the related challenges in the real world, research opportunities and future works in this area, yet to be explored fully

Recent developments in audio watermarking techniques have gone some way towards promoting an industry-wide acceptance of digital audio watermarking as a process that will eventually be used in all audio (and video) production. The predominant focus of such watermarking research has been in the area of content protection, because the prevention of illegal copying is an area of concern for content owners. However, digital audio watermarking may also be used for other purposes, such as the added-value option of real-time content identification of music. While computer-based users of music enjoy the opportunity to identify unknown audio using online tools, identification of audio in an offline domestic or in-car scenario is not so easily achieved. This paper discusses with an area of digital audio watermarking that would facilitate real-time in-car identification of the artists, title and/or other meta-data relating to music being broadcast by radio

Kata Kunci : Audio Watermarking, Discrete Cosine TransformABSTRACT: Watermarking is technique to hide a digital data into another digital data. Audio watermarking is an implementation of watermarking. Digital audio watermarking technology consist of temporal watermarking which is directly hide watermark into audio on time domain and spectral watermarking which is use transformation from time domain into frequency domain. Commonly used transformations are DCT, FFT, DWT, etc. However implementation of employing the DCT method for audio watermarking still rare to meet. Audio watermarking a technique to embed digital data (in this case text) into digital audio file (WAV extension) was implemented on this thesis using Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT). Objective and subjective quality test was conducted into watermarked audio. Watermark robustness test against some digital signal processing also conducted. From objective and subjective test result to DCT based audio watermarking system, I conclude that watermarked audio have almost equal quality compared to original audio file if SNR resulted is above 78,538 dB and watermarked audio quality depend on multiplier coefficient and the text length. Test result show that on multiplier coefficient 0,001 quality of audio file close to it’s original. Meanwhile from watermark robustness test against digital signal processing I conclude that on DCT based audio watermarking system, robustness level on text watermark is very susceptible with alteration.Keyword: Audio Watermarking, Discrete Cosine Transfor

The recent growth in pc networks, and a lot of specifically, the planet Wide internet, copyright protection of digital audio becomes a lot of and a lot of necessary. Digital audio watermarking has drawn in depth attention for copyright protection of audio information. A digital audio watermarking may be a method of embedding watermarks into audio signal to point out genuineness and possession. Our technique supported the embedding watermark into audio signal and extraction of watermark sequence. We tend to propose a brand new watermarking system victimization separate Fourier remodel (DFT) for audio copyright protection. The watermarks area unit embedded into the best outstanding peak of the magnitude spectrum of every non-overlapping frame. This watermarking system can provides robust lustiness against many styles of attacks like noise addition, cropping, re-sampling, re-quantization, and MP3 compression and achieves similarity values starting from thirteen sound unit to twenty sound unit. Additionally, planned systems attempting to realize SNR (signal-to-noise ratio) values starting from twenty sound unit to twenty-eight sound unit. DOI: 10.17762/ijritcc2321-8169.15055

Data protection from malicious attacks and misuse has become a crucial issue. Various types of data, including images, videos, audio and text documents, have given cause for the development of different methods for their protection. Cryptography, digital signatures and steganography are the most well known technologies used to protect data. During the last decade, digital watermarking technology has also been utilized as an alternative to prevent media forgery and tampering or falsification to ensure both copyright and authentication. Much work has been done to protect images, videos and audio but only a few algorithms have been considered for text document protection with digital watermarking. However, our survey observed that available text watermarking algorithms are neither robust nor imperceptible and as such remain unsecured methods of protection. Hence, research to improve the performance of text watermarking algorithms is required. This paper reviews current watermarking algorithms for text documents and categorizes text watermarking methods based on the way the text was treated during the watermarking process. It also discusses merits and demerits of available methods as well as recent proposed methods for evaluating text watermarking systems and the need for further research on digital text watermarking

Digital watermarking involves embedding a watermark value within a digital object, such as image, audio, video, text and software, to prove authenticity in case of intellectual property infringement. Headed to this direction, in this paper we survey our previous algorithmic techniques for software and image watermarking and present a new developing idea based on them for audio watermarking. Our watermarking techniques take as an input a watermark that is an integer ww which can be efficiently encoded as a self-inverting permutation pipi^*. We demonstrate multiple representations of self-inverting permutations, namely reducible permutation graphs, two-dimensional and one-dimensional matrices. We propose efficient algorithmic techniques for watermarking software, image and audio that exploit self-inverting permutation representations in order to embed the watermark ww by making imperceptible modifications and producing equivalent watermarked objects of high fidelity
