Digital transformation strategies: Conversational commerce
With the evolution of technology and the consequent proliferation of the use of the internet for
online shopping, and allied to the strong globalization of global commerce, which has online
commerce as the highest exponent, it is increasingly difficult for companies to gain a
competitive advantage over its competitors, making it fundamental to place consumer
satisfaction at the heart of its business. This research intends to analyze how the use of natural
language interfaces, together with a system of intelligent recommendation, that is to say, the
concept developed by Chris Messina (2015), Conversational Commerce, could be a
differentiating factor in the relationship of companies with its consumers, allowing not only to
gain a competitive advantage, but to influence company reputation improving the brand image.
This research and its results demonstrate that the use of these conversational interfaces,
supported by natural language, increases trust and consumer satisfaction, making the purchasing
process more fluid, flexible, convenient and fast, thus gaining a market advantage over its

Socio-Economic Management Theory Related to BPM: A Case Study of Dysfunctions in Digital Transformation Strategy
This research claims that dynamic strategies demanded by today’s digital environment exacerbate inconsistency between an organization’s digital transformation efforts and its enterprise architecture (EA) planning process. This phenomenon leads to redundant investments, delayed implementation, and frequent failures in digital transformation projects. In order to investigate this inconsistency, we apply the socioeconomic approach to management (SEAM) theory. Through critical analysis of four case studies in a large manufacturing organization, we clarify the relationship between digital transformation and EA and reveal the dysfunction in strategic implementation from a SEAM and business process management (BPM) perspective. In practice, this research integrates digital transformation and EA to provide a context-specific approach for planning and designing enterprise digital transformation strategies
Assessing regional digital competence: Digital futures and strategic planning implications
Understanding strategic decisions aimed at addressing regional economic issues is of increasing interest among scholars and policy makers today. Thus, studies that proffer effective strategies to address digital futures concerns from social and policy perspectives are timely. In light of this, this research uses strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) analysis tool to frame a regional strategy for digital futures to enhance place-specific digital connectivity and socio-economic progress. Focus group discussions and a structured questionnaire were conducted to examine a SWOT for a digital economy strategy in the Southern Downs Region in Queensland, Australia. The findings show that while the proposed regional strategies for digital futures are susceptible to internal and external forces, strategic planning makes them manageable. The study’s findings also reveal that adaptive strategic planning can help regulate the effects of internal and external factors that shape individual and organisational responses to digital transformation, and that these factors promote regional competitiveness
Strategies for Improving Organizational Efficiency, Productivity, and Performance through Technology Adoption
With an emphasis on digital transformation, this thesis analyzes methods for enhancing organizational effectiveness and competitiveness through the use of technology. There is a growing need for administrators and managers to comprehend and execute digital transformation strategies due to the widespread use of technology in businesses. The research combines different techniques, such as a literature review, in-depth interviews, and a survey of the workforce at one company. According to the research's results, successful digital transformation initiatives require buy-in from the top down, a well-defined path forward, and a culture that prizes creativity and teamwork. Effective change management strategies that address employee concerns and utilize the benefits of digital technologies should also be an integral part of digital transformation strategies. The research also identifies digital transformation's enablers and inhibitors, and assesses how well digital transformation strategies boost productivity, efficiency, and performance in businesses. Researchers and practitioners in the field of management and administration can benefit from the study's valuable insights into the strategies for improving organizational efficiency, productivity, and performance through technology adoption. However, there are caveats to the research that should be taken into account. The results of this study need to be replicated in other settings and with bigger samples
