Interoperability, Trust Based Information Sharing Protocol and Security: Digital Government Key Issues
Improved interoperability between public and private organizations is of key
significance to make digital government newest triumphant. Digital Government
interoperability, information sharing protocol and security are measured the
key issue for achieving a refined stage of digital government. Flawless
interoperability is essential to share the information between diverse and
merely dispersed organisations in several network environments by using
computer based tools. Digital government must ensure security for its
information systems, including computers and networks for providing better
service to the citizens. Governments around the world are increasingly
revolving to information sharing and integration for solving problems in
programs and policy areas. Evils of global worry such as syndrome discovery and
manage, terror campaign, immigration and border control, prohibited drug
trafficking, and more demand information sharing, harmonization and cooperation
amid government agencies within a country and across national borders. A number
of daunting challenges survive to the progress of an efficient information
sharing protocol. A secure and trusted information-sharing protocol is required
to enable users to interact and share information easily and perfectly across

Functional genre in Illinois State Government digital documents
Provisions for collecting or archiving digital documents can be informed by knowledge of the genres of documents likely to be encountered. Although different aspects of collecting and curation may classify documents into genres based on differing criteria (e.g., size, file format, subject), this document addresses classification based on the functional role the document plays in state government, akin to (Toms, 2001), but here specifically Illinois State Government (ISG). The classifications listed herein are based on an overview of ISG digital documents, encountered in over nine years of gathering and archiving work with and for the Illinois State Library (ISL), and on discussions with practitioners in cataloging and in government documents librarianship. This report states definitions, and including examples of each such genre.
State government documents are interesting in this regard in that they are presumably somewhat comparable to both federal government documents and business documents. Perhaps surprisingly, there are also portions of the State Web that are somewhat less than businesslike, either in tone or in technological proficiency of implementation. In this respect state government digital documents may also be useful approximations to documents produced either personally or by small activities. Towards a classifier for digital sensitivity review
The sensitivity review of government records is essential before they can be released to the official government archives, to prevent sensitive information (such as personal information, or that which is prejudicial to international relations) from being released. As records are typically reviewed and released after a period of decades, sensitivity review practices are still based on paper records. The transition to digital records brings new challenges, e.g. increased volume of digital records, making current practices impractical to use. In this paper, we describe our current work towards developing a sensitivity review classifier that can identify and prioritise potentially sensitive digital records for review. Using a test collection built from government records with real sensitivities identified by government assessors, we show that considering the entities present in each record can markedly improve upon a text classification baseline

Digitalization is something that cannot be avoided in this world. Technological advancements have made everything shift towards digitalization. From business models to education, even governments have to adapt to technological developments. Being adaptive to technological advancements is essential for every layer of society, including micro-business actors. Micro-businesses are the smallest scale of businesses compared to other scales within the MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) sector. The fact that many micro-business actors are not yet adaptive to technological developments necessitates the government's involvement. Through government strategies, it is hoped that micro-business actors can adapt to the digital world and also develop their businesses. This is being done by the Malang City Government, through the Department of Cooperatives Industry and Trade, particularly in the Micro-Business Division. The Malang City Government has strategies for the digital development of micro-businesses to enable micro-business actors to be adaptive to the digital world and increase the scale of their businesses. The research method used in this study is qualitative and descriptive, with data collection through interviews, observations, and secondary data from reliable sources. Digital exclusion: coming out from behind closed doors
Government visions of a digital future show little indication of how disabled people, reliant on access technology, will participate. Access technology has the potential to offer independent use of the Internet but many disabled people already face barriers that prevent them having equitable digital experiences. Multiple obstacles include high set-up costs, inadequate technical support and exclusive design practices. Due to the high levels of personalisation required, many disabled people are restricted to using computers at home. As a result their problems with access often remain unacknowledged and hidden behind closed doors. As online governance of welfare gathers pace, so greater awareness of the diversity of ways in which disabled people interact with digital environments is called for. Without this, government expansion into digital-only welfare risks isolating even further those who have the most to gain
