Scattering Experiments with Microwave Billiards at an Exceptional Point under Broken Time Reversal Invariance

Scattering experiments with microwave cavities were performed and the effects of broken time-reversal invariance (TRI), induced by means of a magnetized ferrite placed inside the cavity, on an isolated doublet of nearly degenerate resonances were investigated. All elements of the effective Hamiltonian of this two-level system were extracted. As a function of two experimental parameters, the doublet and also the associated eigenvectors could be tuned to coalesce at a so-called exceptional point (EP). The behavior of the eigenvalues and eigenvectors when encircling the EP in parameter space was studied, including the geometric amplitude that builds up in the case of broken TRI. A one-dimensional subspace of parameters was found where the differences of the eigenvalues are either real or purely imaginary. There, the Hamiltonians were found PT-invariant under the combined operation of parity (P) and time reversal (T) in a generalized sense. The EP is the point of transition between both regions. There a spontaneous breaking of PT occurs

Catabolic processes in the nodules of legumes affecting the nitrogen content of the plant

An attempt is made in this paper to prove the theory that the B.radicicola takes up free nitrogen from the atmosphere and builds it to protein for its body tissues, and afterwards this protein is broken down into amino compounds and thence to ammonia, which in turn is nitrified to the nitrate before it may be used by the host plant in its process of tissue building. The soy bean strain of the B. radicicola and the soybean as the host plant were used throughout this study

Stochastic invariances and Lamperti transformations for Stochastic Processes

International audienceScale-invariant processes, and hereafter processes with broken versions of this symmetry, are studied by means of the Lamperti transformation, a one-to- one transformation linking stationary and self-similar processes. A general overview of the use of the transformation, and of the stationary generators it builds, is given for modelling and analysis of scale invariance. We put an emphasis on generalizations to non-strictly scale-invariant situations. The examples of discrete scale invariance and finite-size scale invariance are developed by means of the Lamperti transformation framework, and some specific examples of processes with these generalized symmetries are given

The demand of land reform implementation increases recently. The imbalance of land athority and the demand of land acceas as well qs other productive resources of the poor are getting stronger in most of the third world country. Builds the law is not work which is easy and or simple like the one is imagined, because a good law and regulation must up to standard of justice, rule of law and utility in balance. and so in effort for agrarian law forming process which more accommodating all importances of all sides. Must be realized and confessed act No 5 the year 1960 still leaving various problems which must be broken

A Quantitative Study of Java Software Buildability

Researchers, students and practitioners often encounter a situation when the build process of a third-party software system fails. In this paper, we aim to confirm this observation present mainly as anecdotal evidence so far. Using a virtual environment simulating a programmer's one, we try to fully automatically build target archives from the source code of over 7,200 open source Java projects. We found that more than 38% of builds ended in failure. Build log analysis reveals the largest portion of errors are dependency-related. We also conduct an association study of factors affecting build success

The impact of personality on scholarly performance in the light of intervening job of scholarly motivation

This examination and coming about commitment are the consequence of instructive motivation intervened in the relationship between receptiveness to experience, and measures with insightful performance. Based on the alternate elements (e.g., IQ, learning moves close and biological variables) can influence academic execution that can be broken down in future examinations.Purpose: This comparative study holistically assesses the effect of personality on scholastic motivation and scholarly performance. Design/Methodology/Approach: The contribution and the relevant methodology are based on an educational motivation interceded the association between openness to experience and standards with scholarly performance. The research sample consists of students who willfully participated and they were approached to finish a personality poll (NEO-FFI), and a scholastic motivation survey (AMS-C 28, included GPA and statistic information) on a pioneering critical comparative structural model. Findings: Based on the implied arguments and yielded results, the article considers the interceding role of scholastic motivation about personality and performance. The nature of these relations, can be a point of takeoff to assist inquires about this issue. Practical implications: Based on addressing its structural purposes, the study sheds a new light on the conscientiousness that predicts both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. Earlier investigations show that there is a relationship between openness to involvement and insights. Originality/Value: Although this study builds upon recent studies about character, motivation and different factors can affect scholastic performance that can be analyzed in future investigations as an innovative idea for the harmonization in this field.peer-reviewe
