Enhancing chaos in multistability regions of Duffing map for an asymmetric image encryption algorithm
We investigate the dynamics of a two-dimensional chaotic Duffing map which
exhibits the occurrence of coexisting chaotic attractors as well as periodic
orbits with a typical set of system parameters. Such unusual behaviors in
low-dimensional maps is inadmissible especially in the applications of chaos
based cryptography. To this end, the Sine-Cosine chaotification technique is
used to propose a modified Duffing map in enhancing its chaos complexity in the
multistable regions. Based on the enhanced Duffing map, a new asymmetric image
encryption algorithm is developed with the principles of confusion and
diffusion. While in the former, hyperchaotic sequences are generated for
scrambling of plain-image pixels, the latter is accomplished by the elliptic
curves, S-box and hyperchaotic sequences. Simulation results and security
analysis reveal that the proposed encryption algorithm can effectively encrypt
and decrypt various kinds of digital images with a high-level security.Comment: 15 pages, 15 figure
A novel efficient multiple encryption algorithm for real time images
In this study, we propose an innovative image encryption Techniques based on four different image encryption Algorithm. Our methodology integrates scrambling followed by Symmetric and Asymmetric Encryption Techniques, to make the image meaningless or disordered to enhance the ability to confront attack and in turn improve the security. This paper mainly focused on the multiple encryption Techniques with multiple keys on a single image by dividing it into four blocks. So instead of using one Encryption method a combination of four different Encryption Algorithm can make our image more secure. The Encryption is done first by using DNA as secret key, second by using RSA, third by DES and fourth by Chebyshev. The pros and cons for all the Encryption methods are discussed here. Proposed methodology can strongly encrypt the images for the purpose of storing images and transmitting them over the Internet. There are two major benefits related with this system. The first benefit is the use of Different Algorithm with different keys. The second benefit is that even though we are using four different Algorithm for a single image, the time taken for encryption and decryption is few seconds only. Our method is methodically checked, and it shows an exceptionally high level of security with very good image quality
NEW HIDING TECHNIQUE IN DIGITAL SIGNATURE BASED ON ZIGZAG TRANSFORM AND CHAOTIC MAPS
Abstract
This paper presents a novel approach to digital signature by integrating the ElGamal or Schnorr digital signature algorithms, chaotic systems, and scanning techniques. Briefly, ZZBCRP is a zigzag transformation that is used firstly to construct a permuted transaction, which technique starts from any random position and intersects in both directions, which is more complex than zigzag transform techniques. Then using ElGamal or Schnorr signature schemes based on chaotic maps. This modification aims to make private key and random number dependent on discrete chaotic maps. Even if the private key chosen is small, it is easy by using the huge amount of points in chaotic maps 2-D or 3-D to extract strong and unique key. This change complicates the relationship between the private key, public key and the transaction signature. A two-dimensional trigonometric discrete chaotic map is used that integrated Logistic-sine-cosine maps, and a three-dimensional hyperchaotic map (3-D SCC) which are based on a sine map. Our performance analysis shows that compared to schemes; this scheme not only improves the level of efficiency but also assures safety. The performance analysis shows that our scheme is not only more efficient compared to other related systems, but also safer
Dynamic S-BOX using Chaotic Map for VPN Data Security
A dynamic SBox using a chaotic map is a cryptography technique that changes
the SBox during encryption based on iterations of a chaotic map, adding an
extra layer of confusion and security to symmetric encryption algorithms like
AES. The chaotic map introduces unpredictability, non-linearity, and key
dependency, enhancing the overall security of the encryption process. The
existing work on dynamic SBox using chaotic maps lacks standardized guidelines
and extensive security analysis, leaving potential vulnerabilities and
performance concerns unaddressed. Key management and the sensitivity of chaotic
maps to initial conditions are challenges that need careful consideration. The
main objective of using a dynamic SBox with a chaotic map in cryptography
systems is to enhance the security and robustness of symmetric encryption
algorithms. The method of dynamic SBox using a chaotic map involves
initializing the SBox, selecting a chaotic map, iterating the map to generate
chaotic values, and updating the SBox based on these values during the
encryption process to enhance security and resist cryptanalytic attacks. This
article proposes a novel chaotic map that can be utilized to create a fresh,
lively SBox. The performance assessment of the suggested S resilience Box
against various attacks involves metrics such as nonlinearity (NL), strict
avalanche criterion (SAC), bit independence criterion (BIC), linear
approximation probability (LP), and differential approximation probability
(DP). These metrics help gauge the Box ability to handle and respond to
different attack scenarios. Assess the cryptography strength of the proposed
S-Box for usage in practical security applications, it is compared to other
recently developed SBoxes. The comparative research shows that the suggested
SBox has the potential to be an important advancement in the field of data
security.Comment: 11 Page
