As robots' use increases in every sector of human life, the demand for cheap and efficient robots has also enlarged. The use of two or more simple robot is preferable to the use of one sophisticated robot. The agriculture industry can benefit from installing a robot, from seeding to the packaging of the product. A precise analysis is required for the installation of two collaborative robots. This paper discusses the motion control analysis of two collaborative arms robots in the fruit packaging system. The study begins with the relative motion analysis between two robots, starting with kinematics modeling, image processing for object detection, and the Fuzzy Logic Controller's design to show the relationship between the robot inputs and outputs. The analysis is carried out using SCILAB, open-source software for numerical computing engineering. This paper is intended as the initial analysis of the feasibility of the real experimental system

In this modern age, Internet of Things (IoT) and Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) as its derivatives have become one of the most popular and important technological advancements. In IoT, all things and services in the real world are digitalized and it continues to grow exponentially every year. This growth in number of IoT device in the end has created a tremendous amount of data and new data services such as big data systems. These new technologies can be managed to produce additional value to the existing business model. It also can provide a forecasting service and is capable to produce decision-making support using computational intelligence methods. In this survey paper, we provide detailed research activities concerning Computational Intelligence methods application in IoT WSN. To build a good understanding, in this paper we also present various challenges and issues for Computational Intelligence in IoT WSN. In the last presentation, we discuss the future direction of Computational Intelligence applications in IoT WSN such as Self-Organizing Network (dynamic network) concept

Multi crteria decision making and its applications : a literature review

This paper presents current techniques used in Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) and their applications. Two basic approaches for MCDM, namely Artificial Intelligence MCDM (AIMCDM) and Classical MCDM (CMCDM) are discussed and investigated. Recent articles from international journals related to MCDM are collected and analyzed to find which approach is more common than the other in MCDM. Also, which area these techniques are applied to. Those articles are appearing in journals for the year 2008 only. This paper provides evidence that currently, both AIMCDM and CMCDM are equally common in MCDM

Intelligent Transportation System for Smart-Cities using Fuzzy Logic

According to United Nations population statistics 2017, the world population is 7.6 billion and is growing rapidily alomost 11 billion by end of 21 century with a 70% chance of continued growth, this rapid increasing population have created low standards of living in cities. Smart Cities are facing pressures associated with due innovations and globalization to improve their citizens life. Computational intelligence is the study of adaptive mechanism to facilitate intelligent behavior in changing and complex environments. Traffic congestion and monitoring has become one of the critical issues in big cities. The adaptive mechanism of computational intelligence in changing the behavior of complex environments of smart city is very effective. The developing framework and services for smart-city requires sound infrastructure, latest current technology adoption. A framework model with the integration of cloud-data, social network (SN) services that is collecting stream data with smart sensors in the context of smart cities is proposed. The adaptive mechanism of computational intelligence in changing thebehavior of complex environments of smart city is very effective. A radical framework that enables the analysis of big-data sets stemming from Social Networking (SN) sites. Smart cities understanding is a broad concept only city transportation sector is focused in this article. Fuzzy logic modeling techniques are used in many fields i.e. medical, engineering. business and computing related problems. To solve various traffic management issues in cities a detailed analysis of fuzzy logic system is proposed. This paper presents an analysis of the results achieved using Fuzzy Logic System (FLS) for smart cities. The results are verified using MATLAB Simulation

Path Following and Avoiding Obstacle for Mobile Robot Under Dynamic Environments Using Reinforcement Learning

Obstacle avoidance for mobile robot to reach the desired target from a start location is one of the most interesting research topics. However, until now, few works discuss about working of mobile robot in the dynamic and continuously changing environment. So, this issue is still the research challenge for mobile robots. Traditional algorithm for obstacle avoidance in the dynamic, complex environment had many drawbacks. As known that Q-learning, the type of reinforcement learning, has been successfully applied in computer games. However, it is still rarely used in real world applications. This research presents an effectively method for real time dynamic obstacle avoidance based on Q-learning in the real world by using three-wheeled mobile robot. The position of obstacles including many static and dynamic obstacles and the mobile robot are recognized by fixed camera installed above the working space. The input for the robot is the 2D data from the camera. The output is an action for the robot (velocities, linear and angular parameters). Firstly, the simulation is performed for Q-learning algorithm then based on trained data, The Q-table value is implemented to the real mobile robot to perform the task in the real scene. The results are compared with intelligent control method for both static and dynamic obstacles cases. Through implement experiments, the results show that, after training in dynamic environments and testing in a new environment, the mobile robot is able to reach the target position successfully and have better performance comparing with fuzzy controller

Together with the disruptive development of modern sub-symbolic approaches to artificial intelligence (AI), symbolic approaches to classical AI are re-gaining momentum, as more and more researchers exploit their potential to make AI more comprehensible, explainable, and therefore trustworthy. Since logic-based approaches lay at the core of symbolic AI, summarizing their state of the art is of paramount importance now more than ever, in order to identify trends, benefits, key features, gaps, and limitations of the techniques proposed so far, as well as to identify promising research perspectives. Along this line, this paper provides an overview of logic-based approaches and technologies by sketching their evolution and pointing out their main application areas. Future perspectives for exploitation of logic-based technologies are discussed as well, in order to identify those research fields that deserve more attention, considering the areas that already exploit logic-based approaches as well as those that are more likely to adopt logic-based approaches in the future
