Akromatska zamjena tada mijenja vrijednosti c, m i y kanala slike, dok kanal k, u kojemu se nalazi umetnuta informacija, ostaje nepromijenjen.

A digital watermark embeds an imperceptible signal into data such as audio, video and images, for different purposes including authentication and tamper detection. Tamper detection techniques for video watermarking play a major role of forensic evidence in court. The existing techniques for concealing information in the multimedia host are mostly based on spatial domain rather than frequency domain. The spatial domain techniques are not as robust as frequency domain techniques. In order to improve the robustness of spatial domain, a watermark can be embedded several times repeatedly. In order for spatial domain techniques to be more efficient, more payload is needed to embed additional information. The additional information would include the redundant watermarks to ensure the achievable robustness and more metadata of pixels to ensure achievable efficiency to detect more attacks. All these required additional information will degrade the imperceptibility. This research focuses on video watermarking, particularly with respect to Audio Video Interleaved (AVI) form of video file format. The block-wise method is used to determine which block exactly altered. A high imperceptible and efficient tamper detection watermarking technique is proposed which embeds in first and second Least Significant Bits (LSB). The proposed technique divides the video stream to 2*2 nonoverlapping simulated blocks. Nine common attacks to video have been applied to the proposed technique. An imperceptible and efficient tamper detection technique with a novel method of video segmentation to comprise more pixels watermarked is proposed. Experimental results show the technique is able to detect the attacks with the average of Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR) as 47.87dB. The results illustrate the proposed technique improves imperceptibility and efficiency of tamper detection

This thesis addresses the question of the authenticity of identity photographs, part of the documents required in controlled access. Since sophisticated means of reproduction are publicly available, new methods / techniques should prevent tampering and unauthorized reproduction of the photograph. This thesis proposes a hashing method for the authentication of the identity photographs, robust to print-and-scan. This study focuses also on the effects of digitization at hash level. The developed algorithm performs a dimension reduction, based on independent component analysis (ICA). In the learning stage, the subspace projection is obtained by applying ICA and then reduced according to an original entropic selection strategy. In the extraction stage, the coefficients obtained after projecting the identity image on the subspace are quantified and binarized to obtain the hash value. The study reveals the effects of the scanning noise on the hash values of the identity photographs and shows that the proposed method is robust to the print-and-scan attack.

This research introduces a novel and robust watermarking scheme for medical Brain MRI DICOM images, addressing the challenge of maintaining high imperceptibility and robustness simultaneously. The scheme ensures privacy control, content authentication, and protection against the detachment of vital Electronic Patient Record information. To enhance imperceptibility, a Dynamic Visibility Threshold parameter leveraging the Human Visual System is introduced. Embeddable Zones and Non-Embeddable Zones are defined to enhance robustness, and an enhanced Knight Tour algorithm based on Slantlet Transform shuffles the embedding sequence for added security. The scheme achieves remarkable results with a Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR) evaluation surpassing contemporary techniques. Extensive experimentation demonstrates resilience to various attacks, with low Bit Error Rate (BER) and high Normalized Cross-Correlation (NCC) values. The proposed technique outperforms existing methods, emphasizing its superior performance and effectiveness in medical image watermarking

Improvement Of Hybrid Digital Image Watermarking Schemes Based On Svd In Wavelet Transform Domain

Digital image watermarking techniques have enabled imperceptible information in images to be hidden to ensure the information can be extracted later from those images. Robustness, imperceptibility, capacity and security are the most important requirements of any watermarking scheme. Recently, hybrid Singular Value Decomposition (SVD)- based watermarking schemes in the wavelet domain have significantly gained a lot of attention. The aim of this study is to develop hybrid digital image watermarking schemes by combining the properties of SVD and the chosen wavelet transforms to achieve high robustness and imperceptibility, as well as maintaining the trade-off between robustness, imperceptibility and capacity. The security issue due to the false positive problem (FPP) that may be occurring in most of SVD-based watermarking schemes, has been covered and addressed. This study proposes five hybrid robust SVD-based image watermarking schemes in the wavelet domain. In the first scheme, a grey image watermark is embedded directly into the singular values (S) of each redundant discrete wavelet transform transform (RDWT) sub-band of the host image. The scheme is named RDWT-SVD. The second proposed scheme, namely IWT-SVD-AT, utilised the integer wavelet transform (IWT) instead of RDWT due to its properties. The watermark is scrambled using Arnold Transform (AT) before being embedded into the S of each IWT sub-band host. Despite the impressive results by the first and the second schemes, they were vulnerable to the FPP. Thus, they have failed to resolve the rightful ownership. In the third scheme, a hybrid IWT-SVD scheme is proposed with a novel Digital Signature (DS)-based authentication mechanism to solve the FPP. The scheme outperforms the previous schemes in terms of robustness, capacity, security, computation time and attains high imperceptibility. In the remaining two proposed schemes; the fourth and fifth schemes, the FPP is totally avoided using new different embedding strategies. In the fourth scheme namely IWT-SVD-MOACO, the singular vector U of the watermark is embedded into the S of IWT LL sub-band. Multi-objective ant colony optimisation (MOACO) is used to find the optimal multiple zooming/scaling factor (MZF) instead of the single scaling factor (SSF) to achieve the optimal trade-off between imperceptibility and robustness. Finally, a hybrid SVD block-based scheme namely DWT-SVD-HVS using discrete wavelet transform (DWT) is developed. A binary watermark is embedded into a number of blocks which is selected based on some human visual system (HVS) criterion. The scheme shows a high imperceptibility and good robustness. Finally, all the proposed schemes are evaluated with different colour images and had been shown a successful applicability with colour images
