Nonzero θ13\theta_{13} and Neutrino Masses from Modified Neutrino Mixing Matrix

The nonzero and relatively large $\theta_{13}$ have been reported by Daya Bay, T2K, MINOS, and Double Chooz Collaborations. In order to accommodate the nonzero $\theta_{13}$, we modified the tribimaximal (TB), bimaxima (BM), and democratic (DC) neutrino mixing matrices. From three modified neutrino mixing matrices, two of them (the modified BM and DC mixing matrices) can give nonzero $\theta_{13}$ which is compatible with the result of the Daya Bay and T2K experiments. The modified TB neutrino mixing matrix predicts the value of $\theta_{13}$ greater than the upper bound value of the latest experimental results. By using the modified neutrino mixing matrices and impose an additional assumption that neutrino mass matrices have two zeros texture, we then obtain the neutrino mass in normal hierarchy when $(M_{\nu})_{22}=(M_{\nu})_{33}=0$ for the neutrino mass matrix from the modified TB neutrino mixing matrix and $(M_{\nu})_{11}=(M_{\nu})_{13}=0$ for the neutrino mass matrix from the modified DC neutrino mixing matrix. For these two patterns of neutrino mass matrices, either the atmospheric mass squared difference or the solar mass squared difference can be obtained, but not both of them simultaneously. 3CX PBX : IP-puhelinvaihde

Tämän insinöörityön tavoitteena oli 3CX PBX puhelinvaihdejärjestelmän tutkiminen, asentaminen ja konfigurointi Mikkelin ammattikorkeakoululle. Päätavoite oli testata ilmaisen 3CX PBX puhelinvaihteen toiminta, hyödyllisyys sekä käytettävyys. Työssä tutustutaan VoIP- protokolliin, tekniikkaan ja termeihin yleisesti. Työssä testataan myös IP -puhelimien toimintoja ja liittämistä 3CX –järjestelmään. Työssä käytetään sekä softa- ja rautapohjaisia IP -puhelimia. Rautapohjaiset puhelimet ovat Ciscon valmistamia puhelimia, jotka on oletuksena konfiguroitu CCNY -protokollaan. Työtä varten ne täytyy päivittää SIP –protokollaan. 3CX järjestelmän toimintakuntoon saattamiseen saadaan vinkkejä järjestelmän omilta tukisivuilta. Guard Your Daggers and Traces: On The Equational Properties of Guarded (Co-)recursion

Motivated by the recent interest in models of guarded (co-)recursion we study its equational properties. We formulate axioms for guarded fixpoint operators generalizing the axioms of iteration theories of Bloom and Esik. Models of these axioms include both standard (e.g., cpo-based) models of iteration theories and models of guarded recursion such as complete metric spaces or the topos of trees studied by Birkedal et al. We show that the standard result on the satisfaction of all Conway axioms by a unique dagger operation generalizes to the guarded setting. We also introduce the notion of guarded trace operator on a category, and we prove that guarded trace and guarded fixpoint operators are in one-to-one correspondence. Our results are intended as first steps leading to the description of classifying theories for guarded recursion and hence completeness results involving our axioms of guarded fixpoint operators in future work.Comment: In Proceedings FICS 2013, arXiv:1308.589

Shifted one-parameter supersymmetric family of quartic asymmetric double-well potentials

Extending our previous work (Rosu, Mancas, Chen, Ann.Phys. 343 (2014) 87-102), we define supersymmetric partner potentials through a particular Riccati solution of the form F(x)=(x-c)^2-1, where c is a real shift parameter, and work out the quartic double-well family of one-parameter isospectral potentials obtained by using the corresponding general Riccati solution. For these parametric double well potentials, we study how the localization properties of the two wells depend on the parameter of the potentials for various values of the shifting parameter. We also consider the supersymmetric parametric family of the first double-well potential in the Razavy chain of double well potentials corresponding to F(x)=(1/2)sinh 2x-2(1+sqrt 2)sinh 2x/[(1+sqrt 2) cosh 2x+1], both unshifted and shifted, to test and compare the localization propertiesComment: 11 pages, 4 figures, published versio
