The Hamsher collection is divided into three series. Series I consists of personal correspondence between 1875 - 1969, from his father, Oliver C., sister, Elsie and brother Merle, his classmates from college and his classmate\u27s children. It is the largest series in the collection. Series II consists of speeches, writings and papers Hamsher wrote while a student at Gettysburg College between 1902 and 1904. Series III is the smallest series, consisting of two folders of mostly miscellaneous, pamphlets, newsletters and church bulletins related to the Lutheran Church. AbstractFor the current issue that harmful landfill caused serious harm but had passed the environmental assessment, the paper uses the stakeholder analysis theory to analyze the stakeholders of landfill, and find the reasons existed in environmental assessment of landfill based on the simple review of the development and application of stakeholder analysis. Sanborn Maps of Missouri Collection

Documenting the layout of 390 Missouri cities from 1883 to 1951, the 1283 maps in the collection are an invaluable research tool for urban historians, architectural historians, environmentalists, genealogists and preservationists. Commercially prepared microfilm of maps for 55 Missouri cities dating from 1941-1992 supplement the collection. The large scale (1:600) offers detailed information on the use made of commercial and industrial buildings, their size, shape and construction material. Some residential areas are also mapped. The maps show the location of water mains, fire alarms and fire hydrants. They are color-coded to identify the structure (adobe, frame, brick, stone, iron) of each building

3D characterization of CdSe nanoparticles attached to carbon nanotubes

The crystallographic structure of CdSe nanoparticles attached to carbon nanotubes has been elucidated by means of high resolution transmission electron microscopy and high angle annular dark field scanning transmission electron microscopy tomography. CdSe rod-like nanoparticles, grown in solution together with carbon nanotubes, undergo a morphological transformation and become attached to the carbon surface. Electron tomography reveals that the nanoparticles are hexagonal-based with the (001) planes epitaxially matched to the outer graphene layer.Comment: 7 pages, 8 figure
