Миф о Жанне д’Арк как культурный контекст оперы П.И. Чайковского «Орлеанская дева»

The article considers interpretations of Joan of Arc’s personality and life in the European art of the 15th-19th centuries, tracing the stages through which this historic heroine was transformed into a mythical one. With regard to this, the author determines the correspondence of P. I. Tchaikovsky’s The Maid of Orleans with the semantic field surrounding the image of Joan by the 1870s. Close attention is paid to pieces of music devoted to the national heroine of France, determining the extent to which they could have influenced the musical text and concept of Tchaikovsky’s work. Finally, the author concludes that The Maid of Orleans is well within the tendency towards the sacralization of Joan of Arc.В статье рассматриваются интерпретации личности и судьбы Жанны д’Арк в европейском искусстве XV–XIX вв., прослеживаются этапы перехода этой исторической героини в мифологический статус. Исходя из этого, определяется характер взаимодействия оперы П. И. Чайковского «Орлеанская дева» с семантическим полем, сформировавшимся вокруг образа Жанны к 70-м гг. XIX в. Особое внимание уделяется музыкальным произведениям о национальной героине Франции, оценивается возможность и степень их влияния на музыкальный текст и концепцию произведения П. И. Чайковского. В заключении делается вывод о том, что «Орлеанская дева» вписывается в сакрализующую тенденцию в трактовке образа Жанны д’Арк

Функционирование прецедентных имен в языке современных французских СМИ

В статье рассмотрены особенности французских прецедентных имен, взятых из статей французских газет. Опираясь на теорию, предложенную Ю. Н. Карауловым, разработанную В. В. Красных, Д. Б. Гудковым, Е. А. Нахимовой, автор представляет анализ 14 прецедентных имен в 38 контекстах, а именно рассматривает сферу их употребления, характер апелляции, взаимодействие с другими языковыми средствами, шкальность оценки, что позволит избежать коммуникативных "сбоев" и решить проблему языковых барьеров в межкультурной коммуникации

Jeanne d’Arc: Was There a Prophet? Reflections on the Book of O. Togoyeva “The Heretic, who Became Holy”

This article is devoted to the analysis of the concept of O. I. Togoeva, proposed by her as a research method in the monograph «The heretic, who became holy». In it, the author attempted to prove that the national heroine of France, Jeanne d’Arc, was a visionary, a prophet who had predicted individual events of the Hundred Years War. Since contemporaries were not sure who its prophecies come from - from God or from the Devil, we had to perform several procedures using the «discretio spirituum» method, that is, the « discerning of spirits». The first two, held in Chinon and in Poitiers in the spring of 1429, ended with the acquittal of Joan of Arc, the third, completed in Rouen in 1431, with an accusation, and finally, the last - in 1450-1456, - restoration of a good name. One may agree that some contemporaries considered Joan of Arc as a prophet or presented her as a prophet, but the fact that the Maid of Orleans really was a prophet remained unproved. The article shows that other interpretations of the mission of Joan of Arc and her actions are possible, including an explanation of her actions not as a prophet, but as one of the captains of the royal army
