.The authors, using the method of discourse analysis, present the results of a study regarding how 15 years after the terrorist attack in Beslan, the victim characters were constructed in Russian print and online media. The leading discursive practices of constructing such victim characters in connection with the anniversary of the terrorist attack are identified. It is typical to assign a narrative role to the character in the context of describing the events, characterizing the victims of the terrorist attack using the direct speech of the participants and eyewitnesses of the tragedy, describing the actions of the βvictims community in order to preserve the memory of the dead

The author of the article uses discourse analysis to recreate the interpretation of labor that is latent in theΒ representation of housewivesβ images. The research material included Soviet movies of the 1950s and 1960s. TheΒ author addresses social, economic and cultural contexts of the 1950s and 1960s. Gender policy of the state, existing gender contracts, popular family models, the fight against parasites, etc. are also studied. The writer comes to a conclusion that the solution of the matter is impossible if to consider this problem only within social aspect. Heroes of the novel Β«CollectorΒ», representatives of two hostile parties, can neither overcome this conflict, nor leave it without loss. Fowles is sure that the watershed between the Few and the Many has to pass in each individual, but not between individuals. The choice between to be Aristos or to be lowbrow there is a choice of each person.
