У статті розглянуто літературний набуток української письменниці Наталени Королевої з точки зору використання нею різноманітних засобів афористичного письма. На прикладі аналізу повісті "Quid est veritas?", збірок "Інакший світ" та "Легенди старокиївські" з’ясовано, що доречно вжиті влучні вирази у прозі Наталени Королевої поглиблюють ідейний зміст та емоційний план; виступають додатковим засобом образотворення й типізації; допомагають відтворити історичний колорит певної епохи

Культ Михаила Архангела в отражении литературы Древней Руси: К переизданию книги О. А. Добиаш-Рождественской

Поводом для статьи послужило переиздание знаменитой книги О. А. Добиаш-Рождественской, посвященной культу Михаила Архангела в латинском средневековье. Опираясь на этот классический труд и обращаясь к памятникам литературы Древней Руси, автор статьи ставит вопрос о диалектике типичного и своеобразного в почитании архангела Михаила, каким оно установилось в истории русского православия. Типичного, того, что сходно с описанным в обсуждаемой книге на европейском материале, оказывается не в пример больше. Образ Михаила на Руси, как и в религиозных представлениях других народов, оставался едва ли не самым абстрактным в сонме почитаемых святых. Такое положение вещей способствовало тому, что в разных концах христианского мира за архангелом был закреплен тождественный набор функций. В принципе в глазах христиан Михаил, несомненно, — главный из ангелов. Но естественное для средневекового человека стремление конкретизировать объект своих благочестивых мыслей и чувств, выделив небесного воеводу из рядов ангельского воинства, не достигло сколько-нибудь значимых результатов. Показательно, что в произведениях, по сюжету которых посланник небес вмешивается в жизнь смертных, он, как то было в Библии, лишен имени. Для него используется родовое обозначение — «ангел». Зато в тех случаях, когда архангел Михаил отчетливо персонифицирован, он неизменно суров, чаще беспощаден. В этом отношении наследие Древней Руси тоже находит точные параллели в фактах, извлеченных О. А. Добиаш-Рождественской из конфессиональной истории Западной Европы

Sacralization of the Image of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

This article offers a multifaceted analysis of the phenomenon of the sacralization of the image of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), aimed at an in-depth understanding of the influence of the Armed Forces on society and national consciousness in the context of the Russian- Ukrainian war. Sacralization implies the inoculation/infusion of holiness, of a religious or supernatural nature, into institutions or symbols, and in this context, it is studied how this process affects the perception and support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Ukrainian society. The article analyzes the role of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during military conflicts, in particular, in the context of the active phase of the Russian-Ukrainian war in 2022 and the occupation of Crimea and the war in the East of Ukraine since 2014. Support for the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine became a test for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and then the phenomena of the sacralization of their image began to appear. Researchers consider various aspects of sacralization, such as the use of religious rhetoric, symbols and iconography in the propaganda of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the influence of public leaders, leaders and religious figures on the formation of mythology around military achievements. The role of the media in strengthening the image of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a symbol of national pride and unity is being explored. The authors seek to understand how the sacralization of the image of the Armed Forces of Ukraine affects the formation of national identity, patriotic attitudes, and military culture in Ukraine. Sacralization can have both positive and negative consequences, as well as possible risks of its abuse and manipulation. The study provides an opportunity to enrich the discussion about the role of military institutions in the formation of modern Ukrainian identity, culture, national unity and patriotism. The roles and formation of the image of General Valery Zaluzhny, the Heavenly Hundred, Heroes of Ukraine, the Ghost of Kyiv, and their gradual sacralization by the public are clarified. The priests of the OCU and the UGCC actually support the process of sacralization and honor the Heroes of Ukraine. Churches call on people to pray for the fallen soldiers and their families, and also build monuments, chapels, temples in honor of the heroes of Ukraine

Образ ангела в аматорських поезіях Майдану

The author of the article researches one of the common images in the poetry of the Revolution of Dignity – the image of an angel. It repeatedly appears in poems by amateur writers. In addition to the sacred content, this image in poetry also has other features, as a result of which its multifaceted nature is revealed. The image of an angel formed in the minds of Ukrainians acquired other connotations and nuances during the Revolution of Dignity. This study singles out several images that are repeated in amateur poetry: the protective angel, the guardian angel, Archangel Michael, and the angel of death. Another feature of this image is that in Maidan poetry, he is not always a heavenly creature, but often the embodiment of a dead protester. This article analyzes a number of poems by amateur poets and presents the specificities of each of them as confirmation that amateur Maidan poetry deserves a special place in Ukrainian literature.Artykuł dotyczy jednego z najczęściej pojawiających się w tekstach Majdanu obrazu, mianowicie obrazu anioła. Jest on wielokrotnie przywoływany w wierszach poetów amatorów. Oprócz treści sakralnych ten obraz zawiera również inne cechy, co ujawnia jego wieloaspektowość. Ukształtowany w umysłach Ukraińców obraz w okresie Rewolucji Godności przybiera nowe konotacje i niuanse. W badaniu wytypowano kilka charakterystycznych form zauważalnych w poezji amatorskiej: anioł obrońca, anioł stróż, archanioł Michał i anioł śmierci. W wierszach Majdanu nie zawsze ten symboliczny obraz pokazany jest jako istota niebiańska, często okazuje się ucieleśnieniem doświadczeń protestującego, zwłaszcza tragicznej śmierci w imię wolności i narodu. W artykule zostały przeanalizowane liczne wiersze poetów amatorów, co pozwala na wyeksponowanie specyfiki każdego z nich.
