Dr Leon Kopff (1856 – 1933) presented his ideas on spa treatment in the illustrated biweekly «The Spa Review and Tour Guide» (1909). In the magazine Leon Kopff popularized Polish spas, expressed his opinions on the behaviour of patients and bathers, the influence of water treatment on human organism and the balneal therapy – an important balneological activity. He also paid attention to reasonable feeding habits and diets for the obese. Besides, he noticed the importance of climate and landscape.На страницах двухнедельника «Przegląd Zdrojowo-Kąpielowy i Przewodnik Turystyczny» (1909) врач Леон Копфф (1856 – 1933) освещал взгляды на укрепление здоровья в санаторіях, ппуляризировал их, комментировал поведение больных, терапевтический эффект купания в минеральных водах на организм человека, бальнеологическое лечение и др. Обосновал принципы рационального и диетического питания для людей, которые страдают ожирением, раскрыл значимость климата и ландшафта в укреплении здоровья.На сторінках двотижневика «Przegląd Zdrojowo-Kąpielowy i Przewodnik Turystyczny» (1909) лікар Леон Копфф (1856 – 1933) висвітлював погляди на зміцнення здоров’я у санаторіях, популяризував їх, коментував поведінку хворих, терапевтичний ефект купання у мінеральних водах на організм людини, бальнеологічне лікування та ін. Обґрунтував принципи раціонального і дієтичного харчування для людей із ожирінням, розкрив значимість клімату і ландшафту у зміцненні здоров’я

La presència de Felip Pedrell en el projecte fundacional de la Societat Internacional de Musicologia (1899)

L'any 1899, els professors Oskar Fleischer (1856-1933) i Max Seiffert (1868-1948) fundaren la primera societat internacional de musicologia a Berlín i sol·licitaren a Felip Pedrell que participés en el nou projecte científic.La proposta incloïa la creació d'una secció de la Societat Internacional de Musicologia a Madrid (que no arribà a constituir-se) i l'edició d'obres i articles d'investigació musicològica, que cristal·litzaren en diverses publicacions de Pedrell en els mitjans alemanys de l'època: les Opera Omnia de Tomás Luis de Victoria (Breitkopf und Härtel, 1902-1911) i els articles a la Sammelbände der Internationalen Musikgesellschaft (1900-1910), a la cinquena Musiklexicon d'Hugo Riemann (1903) i al Riemann-Festchrift (1909).1899 gründeten die Professoren Oskar Fleischer (1856-1933) und Max Seiffert (1868-1948) die erste Internationale Musikgesellschaft in Berlin und baten Felip Pedrell um seine Mitarbeit bei dem neuen wissenschaftlichen Projekt.Der Vorschlag zur Zusammenarbeit umfasste die Gründung einer Sektion der Internationalen Musikgesellschaft in Madrid (die allerdings nicht zustande kam) und die Herausgabe von Werken und Artikeln der Musikforschung.
