Структурно-композиційні особливості текстуально-маркованих анотацій в американській науковій медичній періодиці (Structural and compositional peculiarities of textually marked abstracts in American scientific medical)

У статті розглядаються структурно-композиційні особливості маркованої анотації як елемента мегатекстової структури наукової медичної статті. Диференційованість анотацій у науковій медичній періодиці не дозволяє однозначно трактувати цей тип анотації як уніфіковану мегатекстову одиницю. Аналіз проведено на функціональному та текстовому рівнях. Здійснено опис та характеристику формальних маркерів включно з їх класифікацією як на рівні ходів та кроків, так і на рівні текстового представлення. Обґрунтовано взаємозв’язок між функціональними інтенціями адресанта, автора анотації та засобами текстової реалізації таких інтенцій. (The article considers structural and compositional peculiarities of the marked abstract as an element of the megatextual structure of medical research article. The abstract diversity on both functional and textual levels does not allow to treat an abstract as a unified megatext unit. The description and characteristics of formal markers has been provided including their classification both on the level of moves and steps and on the level of textual presentation. The interconnection and interdependence between the functional intentions of the addresser, the author of an abstract, and the means by which the text accomplishes such intentions has been substantiated. A wide range of scholars, engaged in the studies of an abstract as a general notion, a vast uninvestigated area still exists, namely in differentiating an abstract in terms of its functional goals as well as of its textual composition. This concerns not only different branches of science but even one separate branch. There exist several factors influencing the authur’s choice to unveil new information within an abstract in addition to the requirements put on him. Those factors are considered to be of pragmatic and/or occupational nature, or may be influenced by realities of the specific investigation presupposing a definite discourse structure hence leading to a specific abstract composition. As a necessary element of an abstract, the article gives classification of primary and secondary markers, the latter being optional.

Інтермедіальність роману братів Ґонкурів «Манетта Саломон» (Intermediality of the Goncourt brothers’ novel «Manette Salomon»)

У статті досліджено інтермедіальність роману братів Ґонкурів «Манетта Саломон», простежено взаємозв’язок літератури та живопису в епоху середини ХІХ століття, коли обидва види мистецтва шукали засобів оновлення. Типологія екфрастичних описів засвідчує, що письменники шукали вербальних засобів для вираження візуальних картин, як реальних, так і уявних. Терміни живопису насичують смислову структуру, вживаються як для означення живописних жанрів, так і власне літературних (ескіз, акварель, колаж). Численні ремінісценції на твори відомих художників, роздуми над естетичними пріоритетами, пошуки і фіксація нової техніки перетворюють роман на живописний, тобто живописні референції входять у вербальний текст імпліцитно, впливаючи на жанрову, композиційну структуру та витворюють неповторний живописний стиль, «артистичне письмо» Ґонкурів. (This article deals with the study on intermediality of the Goncourt brothers’ novel «Manette Salomon», there is retraced a correlation between literature and art in the epoch of the mid-nineteenth century, when both kinds of art searched for the means of renewal. The Goncourt brothers created the novel about art, in which artworks were the subject of depiction. The typology of ekphrastic descriptions testified that the writers were looking for verbal means to express visual pictures, both real and imaginary. Terms of painting saturate the semantic structure and are used both for the definition of painting genres and literary ones (sketch, watercolor, collage). Ekphrases of the Goncourt brothers play an important role in the plot-compositional construction of the novel, the expression of the visual artifacts unfolds the single line of the plot, creates dialogism of the narrative. Numerous allusions to the works of famous artists, reflections on aesthetic priorities, searching and fixing of new techniques transform the novel into a painting, that is to say, pictorial references enter the verbal text implicitly influencing the genre, compositional structure and creating the unique painting style, «artistic writing» of the Goncourt brothers.
