Jaringan telepon di Surabaya dibangun mengikuti perkembangan ekonomi, karena itu pengelolaan telepon dikerjakan oleh Dinas PTT. Tahun 1906-1941, jaringan telepon Surabaya menunjukkan perkembangan pesat. Perkembangan jaringan telepon menunjukkan efisiensi pelayanan yang diberikan oleh Dinas PTT.     Bethel Reformed Church of Grand Rapids was chartered by Classis Michigan in 1906. The church went through two modest buildings on its site at Coit and Travis streets before building its grander, longtime home, dedicated 1928. In August 2000, the congregation was officially disbanded and the church closed. The collection contains minutes of Consistory, Elders’, Congregational, Deacons’ and Building Committee meetings. Also included are financial reports, membership lists, transfer credentials and church directories

    Isabel McComb was born in St. Catharines, Ontario on August 6,1876. She was a United Empire Loyalist who devoted much of her time to historical research. On June 22, 1911, she married James Brighty and they had 3 children. In 1932, Mrs. Brighty wrote A Pilgrimage through the Historic Niagara District which was published by the Lincoln County Historical Society. She also wrote The History of the Orphans Home, 1874-1934. She was involved in the 1937 Coronation Celebrations. She also did a series of works for the St. Catharines Standard for their Jubilee Edition in April of 1941. Some of her shorter works and poems can be found within the Women’s Literary Society Fonds. Mrs. Brighty served as the secretary of the Women’s Literary Club for 25 years. She became the President of the club in 1933 and remained in that position until her death in 1941. She was a member of the Lord Tennyson Chapter of the Imperial Order Daughters of the Empire (I.O.D.E.), and served as their educational secretary for 25 years. She also held this position for 18 years with the municipal chapter of the I.O.D.E. She served as the secretary of the Lincoln County Historical Society and was a member of the United Empire Loyalist Society and the National Council of Women. She was sought out to direct and write plays and pageants of an historical nature.
