Analisis Peranan Sektor Industri Terhadap Perekonomian Jawa Tengah Tahun 2000 Dan Tahun 2004 (Analisis Input Output)
This research aim to analyse role of industrial sector to other economy sectors in Central Java and the role in Central Java economy. Research method, which applied that, is Input Output Analysis Model (Analysis I-O), accompanied by analysis of role of production sector and output creator of Central Java economy, backward and forward linkage index analysis, and key sector analysis. Data which used that is I-O table of Central Java year 2000 and year 2004 with classification 19 sector is obtained from Central Java BPS. Research result indicate that industrial sector role is seen enough dominant in Central Java economy in the year 2000 and 2004. From the result, author suggests government so that more give priority to industrial sectors that become key sector in Central Java in the year 2000 and 2004
Manipulation of drugs to achieve the required dose is intrinsic to paediatric practice but is not supported by guidelines or evidence
Background: A lack of age-appropriate formulations can make it difficult to administer medicines to children. A manipulation of the dosage form may be required to achieve the required dose. This study aimed to describe medicines that are manipulated to achieve the required dose in paediatric practice.Method: A structured, undisguised observational study and postal survey. The observational study investigated drug manipulations occurring in clinical practice across three sites. The questionnaire, administered to a sample of paediatric nurses throughout the UK, surveyed manipulations conducted and nurses' experiences and views.Results: The observational study identified 310 manipulations, of which 62% involved tablets, 21% were intravenous drugs and 10% were sachets. Of the 54 observed manipulations 40 involved tablets with 65% of the tablets being cut and 30% dispersed to obtain a smaller dose. 188 manipulations were reported by questionnaire respondents, of these 46% involved tablets, 12% were intravenous drugs, and 12% were nebuliser solutions. Manipulations were predominantly, but not exclusively, identified in specialist clinical areas with more highly dependent patients. Questionnaire respondents were concerned about the accuracy of the dose achieved following manipulations and the lack of practice guidance.Conclusion: Manipulations to achieve the required dose occur throughout paediatric in-patient settings. The impact of manipulations on the efficacy of the drugs, the accuracy of the dose and any adverse effects on patients is not known. There is a need to develop evidence-based guidance for manipulations of medicines in children
Limits of the energy-momentum tensor in general relativity
A limiting diagram for the Segre classification of the energy-momentum tensor
is obtained and discussed in connection with a Penrose specialization diagram
for the Segre types. A generalization of the coordinate-free approach to limits
of Paiva et al. to include non-vacuum space-times is made. Geroch's work on
limits of space-times is also extended. The same argument also justifies part
of the procedure for classification of a given spacetime using Cartan scalars.Comment: LaTeX, 21 page
Dynamics at a smeared phase transition
We investigate the effects of rare regions on the dynamics of Ising magnets
with planar defects, i.e., disorder perfectly correlated in two dimensions. In
these systems, the magnetic phase transition is smeared because static
long-range order can develop on isolated rare regions. We first study an
infinite-range model by numerically solving local dynamic mean-field equations.
Then we use extremal statistics and scaling arguments to discuss the dynamics
beyond mean-field theory. In the tail region of the smeared transition the
dynamics is even slower than in a conventional Griffiths phase: the spin
autocorrelation function decays like a stretched exponential at intermediate
times before approaching the exponentially small equilibrium value following a

Static and Dynamic Critical Behavior of a Symmetrical Binary Fluid: A Computer Simulation
A symmetrical binary, A+B Lennard-Jones mixture is studied by a combination
of semi-grandcanonical Monte Carlo (SGMC) and Molecular Dynamics (MD) methods
near a liquid-liquid critical temperature . Choosing equal chemical
potentials for the two species, the SGMC switches identities () to generate well-equilibrated configurations of the system on
the coexistence curve for and at the critical concentration, ,
for . A finite-size scaling analysis of the concentration susceptibility
above and of the order parameter below is performed, varying the
number of particles from N=400 to 12800. The data are fully compatible with the
expected critical exponents of the three-dimensional Ising universality class.
The equilibrium configurations from the SGMC runs are used as initial states
for microcanonical MD runs, from which transport coefficients are extracted.
Self-diffusion coefficients are obtained from the Einstein relation, while the
interdiffusion coefficient and the shear viscosity are estimated from
Green-Kubo expressions. As expected, the self-diffusion constant does not
display a detectable critical anomaly. With appropriate finite-size scaling
analysis, we show that the simulation data for the shear viscosity and the
mutual diffusion constant are quite consistent both with the theoretically
predicted behavior, including the critical exponents and amplitudes, and with
