Diálogos atlânticos sobre tecnologia e regulação - 2026

Abstract

Os “Diálogos Atlânticos sobre Tecnologia e Regulação” são uma série de eventos com frequência anual desenvolvidos em parceria entre a Faculdade de Direito da Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP), por meio do Católica Research Centre for the Future of Law, e a Escola de Direito da Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), Rio de Janeiro, a partir do Centro de Tecnologia e Sociedade. O objetivo dos Diálogos Atlânticos sobre Tecnologia e Regulação é a análise das evoluções tecnológicas globais, seus impactos nos sistemas regulatórios dos continentes europeu, americano e africano e as potenciais sinergias entre tais sistemas. A segunda edição dos Diálogos acontecerá no Rio de Janeiro, nos dias 20 e 21 de abril 2026, e será dedicada a cinco temas essenciais para o futuro da tecnologia e da regulação: a Soberania Digital, a Inteligência Artificial (IA), a Proteção de Dados, a Cibersegurança e a Regulação de Plataformas Digitais.The "Atlantic Dialogues on Technology and Regulation" are a series of annual events developed in partnership between the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Portugal (UCP), through the Católica Research Centre for the Future of Law, and the Law School of Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), Rio de Janeiro, through the Center for Technology and Society. The objective of the Atlantic Dialogues on Technology and Regulation is to analyze global technological evolutions, their impacts on the regulatory systems of the European, American and African continents and the potential synergies between such systems. The second edition of the Dialogues will take place in Rio de Janeiro, on April 20 and 21, 2026, and will be dedicated to five essential themes for the future of technology and regulation: Digital Sovereignty, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Protection, Cybersecurity and Regulation of Digital Platforms
