Abstract
U radu je obrađena problematika brendiranja Općine Konavle na osnovi kulturne baštine. Kroz rad se daje lokalni primjer tradicijske kulture Konavala (najjužnije hrvatske regije) u okviru globalnog turističkog pokreta i propituje mogućnost primjene etnoloških i kulturno-antropoloških znanja na području turizma. Turizam u Konavlima prikladan je primjer kulturno-antropološkog proučavanja kulturnog turizma, posebno na području oživljavanja tradicije radi turizma. Ovaj rad daje sliku trenutne situacije i dokument je koji predstavlja stvarno stanje tradicije u Konavlima. Prikazuje upotrebu folklora i pojedine slučajeve oživljavanja tradicionalne proizvodnje (uzgoj dudovog svilca, mljevenje brašna) u svrhu turizma. Rad potvrđuje da su odabrani elementi tradicijske kulture značajni čimbenici kulturnog i zavičajnog identiteta Konavala kao i generatori razvoja turizma u ovom kraju.The paper deals with the issue of branding the Municipality of Konavle on the basis of cultural heritage. The paper gives a local example of the traditional culture of Konavle (the southernmost Croatian region) within the global tourism movement and questions the possibility of applying ethnological and cultural-anthropological knowledge in the field of tourism. Tourism in Konavle is a suitable example of cultural-anthropological study of cultural tourism, especially in the field of reviving tradition for tourism. This paper gives a picture of the current situation and is a document that represents the real state of tradition in Konavle. It shows the use of folklore and individual cases of revival of traditional production (silkworm cultivation, flour milling) for tourism purposes. The paper confirms that the selected elements of traditional culture are important factors of the cultural and native identity of Konavle as well as generators of tourism development in this area
