La relevancia que adquiere actualmente los conflictos en las relaciones laborales, tanto colectivos como individuales, es merecedora de un análisis que ponga de relieve otras fórmulas voluntarias de solución dialogada de conflicto para el ejercicio del derecho de la persona trabajadora a la protección de su intimidad en relación con el entorno digital y a la desconexión digital. Por lo que, el objeto de este estudio se centra en cómo la irrupción de las TIC´s, la digitalización y la IA ofrece un nuevo contexto que necesita una mayor implicación de las partes para resolver los incipientes conflictos ex novo en la prestación de la actividad laboral.The current relevance of conflicts in labour relations, both collective and individual, is worthy of an analysis that highlights other voluntary formulas for dialogue-based conflict resolution for the exercise of the right of workers to the protection of their privacy in relation to the digital environment and digital disconnection. Therefore, the object of this study focuses on how the irruption of ICTs, digitalisation and AI offers a new context that requires greater involvement of the parties to resolve emerging conflicts ex novo in the provision of work activity

Introducere conceptuală în măsurarea ideologiei politice

Noțiunea de ideologie politică a ocupat un loc decisiv în teoria politică și în științele sociale timp de decenii, plasându-se în centrul dezbaterilor privind formarea preferințelor, comportamentul electoral și legitimitatea structurilor instituționale. Pentru o mare parte a secolului al XX-lea, o parte semnificativă a literaturii și-a asumat posibilitatea de a descrie pozițiile cetățenilor printr-un continuum care se întindea de la stânga la dreapta, o abordare care se potrivea bine cu contextele bipartide și competiția tradițională de partid. Cu toate acestea, apariția mișcărilor și partidelor care amestecă pozițiile intervenționiste cu atitudinile tradiționaliste, polarizarea culturală și ascensiunea discursurilor populiste, împreună cu vizibilitatea identității sau a fracturilor moral-religioase, au pus sub semnul întrebării suficiența scalei unidimensionale. În această panoramă, studiile contemporane care se angajează în multidimensionalitate nu se limitează la a observa separarea dintre preferințele economice și atitudinile culturale. De asemenea, explorează rolul personalității, moștenirea genetică, nevoia de certitudine sau dominație socială și conectează acești factori cu tendințele macro care pot fi observate în realinierea electorală, globalizare sau populism. Această perspectivă a profitat de expansiunea metodologică introdusă de tehnicile de analiză factorială, modelele de clasă latente și încorporarea scărilor de autoritarism și dominație socială. În acest fel, înțelegerea ideologiei ca un sistem de credințe care poate combina elemente disparate, nu întotdeauna coerente într-un spectru liniar, a fost îmbogățită. Această carte oferă zece secțiuni care abordează subiectul din diferite unghiuri. Prima acoperă originile teoretice și istorice ale conceptului, arătând geneza distincției stânga-dreapta și moștenirea filosofică care merge de la Iluminism până în secolul al XX-lea. Al doilea discută dezbaterea metodologică dintre unidimensionalitate și multidimensionalitate, ilustrând modul în care analiza factorială și bateriile de itemi au evidențiat complexitatea reală a atitudinilor cetățenilor. În cea de-a treia secțiune, accentul se mută pe factorii psihologici și sociali care modelează credințele, evidențiind implicarea trăsăturilor de personalitate, predispozițiile la ierarhie și experiențele familiale. Al patrulea explorează tehnici avansate de măsurare și validare empirică, descriind utilizarea analizei factoriale exploratorii și de confirmare, a validării încrucișate și a modelelor de clasă latentă. Al cincilea se învârte în jurul fenomenului polarizării și populismului, evidențiind realinierile politice și modul în care apare un factor care subliniază opoziția dintre oameni și elită. Al șaselea aprofundează relația dintre ideologie și politici publice, articulând literatura despre ciclurile economice și cheltuielile de stat cu multitudinea de axe. În a șaptea secțiune, accentul este pus pe feedback-ul ideologic, adică pe modul în care deciziile politice pot modifica și reconfigura atitudinile cetățenilor. A opta adoptă perspectiva comparativă pentru a arăta modul în care contextele culturale și instituționale afectează structura ideologică, descoperind factori diferențiați în diferite țări și regiuni. Al nouălea trece în revistă expresiile microsociale ale ideologiei, subliniind modul în care credințele influențează cooperarea, toleranța și comportamentul de zi cu zi. În final, capitolul al zecelea se încheie cu aplicațiile și implicațiile practice ale acestei abordări multidisciplinare: se analizează utilitatea constatărilor pentru proiectarea campaniilor electorale, medierea comunitară, dezvoltarea politicilor publice și educația civică. Lucrarea în ansamblu sintetizează evoluția cercetării asupra ideologiei politice, de la interpretarea sa liniară la concepția sa multifactorială și studiul ei prin metodologii avansate. Oferă, în același timp, o viziune critică asupra limitelor simplei dihotomii stânga-dreapta, integrând contribuții din științele politice, sociologie, psihologie socială, genetică comportamentală și economie politică. Astfel, fiecare capitol contribuie la conturarea unei imagini mai nuanțate care evidențiază complexitatea sistemului de credințe din societățile moderne, supuse unor presiuni atât de diverse precum polarizarea media, hegemonia culturală, revendicarea identității și disputa privind redistribuirea resurselor

Prediction of Metastasis in Paragangliomas and Pheochromocytomas Using Machine Learning Models: Explainability Challenges

One of the main issues with paragangliomas and pheochromocytomas is that these tumors have up to a 20% rate of metastatic disease, which cannot be reliably predicted. While machine learning models hold great promise for enhancing predictive accuracy, their often opaque nature limits trust and adoption in critical fields such as healthcare. Understanding the factors driving predictions is essential not only for validating their reliability but also for enabling their integration into clinical decision-making. In this paper, we propose an architecture that combines data mining, machine learning, and explainability techniques to improve predictions of metastatic disease in these types of cancer and enhance trust in the models. A wide variety of algorithms have been applied for the development of predictive models, with a focus on interpreting their outputs to support clinical insights. Our methodology involves a comprehensive preprocessing phase to prepare the data, followed by the application of classification algorithms. Explainability techniques were integrated to provide insights into the key factors driving predictions. Additionally, a feature selection process was performed to identify the most influential variables and explore how their inclusion affects model performance. The best-performing algorithm, Random Forest, achieved an accuracy of 96.3%, precision of 96.5%, and AUC of 0.963, among other metrics, combining strong predictive capability with explainability that fosters trust in clinical applications

Gender Inequality in Spain’s Official Music Charts: Neither Representation nor Success for Female Artists (2008–2020)

This study seeks to investigate gender inequality in the Spanish’s official music charts from 2008 to 2020, using a quantitative methodology. The dataset comprises 1300 entries sourced from Promusicae’s official charts, evenly divided between albums and singles. Firstly, this analysis evaluates the frequency of artist representation; secondly, it assesses the success achieved by gender; and finally, it examines disparities in featured collaborations. The findings indicate that male artists appear almost three times more frequently than their female counterparts on both charts, achieve a higher amount of points, and dominate the role of featuring collaborations. Notably, Spanish female artists are predominantly absent from the top positions in the singles chart. Moreover, there is an absence of female bands in the top 50. The observed outcomes align with previous research concerning gender inequality in the United States and the United Kingdom, highlighting a persistent structural gender inequality within Spain’s music industry throughout the reviewed period, which systematically undermines the creativity of female artists.The work was supported by MUSIMA (Ministerio de Universidades): PID2023-147271NB-I00. Quality assurance and documentation of load-bearing structures - educating future professionals with insight from the industry

The Purpose of this paper is to develop teaching material with researching the impact of a newly introduced code of conduct, on the documentation of quality assurance for load-bearing structures in the construction industry. Looking at how the new code of conduct contributes to the planning of checks and quality of the structures, understanding of the intentions behind the standard. Furthermore, minimising the dispute by addressing common empirical misunderstandings between actors involved in the documentation process. Design/methodology/approach. The study has a qualitative design method using semi- structured interviewing with relevant actors within the industry. Furthermore, a literature review of national regulation was conducted, focusing on the evolution of quality assurance. Findings reveal a significant gap between the actors involved in documenting load-bearing structures. The New standard has shifted the documentation responsibility from the engineers to the contractors, thus, leaving the structural engineers to the task of verifying the documentation. This shift in responsibility has left the industry confused, as the different understanding and ways of handling the documentation do not come with clear enough guidelines and paradigms. Theoretical. The study will use the theorical concept of governmentality to focus on how the task/rules are introduced along with the new code of conduct and how they are performed/controlled. Furthermore, we wanted to explore how to target learning and understanding to the students, looking at handling documentation of load-bearing structures in the new code of conduct. Value. This paper is to be considered a part of a larger project where the focus will be to investigate how introducing and educating the students of the Architectural Technology and Construction Management (ATCM) educations in Denmark, on how to navigate the new frames and rules for quality assurance. Nursing is written with an H: an H for Humanization

En un momento en que el concepto de humanización ha cobrado gran relevancia en el ámbito de la salud, es fundamental entender que no se trata de una tendencia pasajera, sino de un pilar esencial de los cuidados de enfermería. La humanización se ha convertido en un objetivo estratégico en la atención sanitaria, promoviendo un enfoque más empático y respetuoso hacia la dignidad de cada persona. Desde que se inició el plan de humanización del INSALUD en 1984, han surgido numerosas iniciativas destinadas a transformar los centros de salud en espacios más cálidos y humanos. Universidades y asociaciones han desarrollado programas y talleres que capacitan a las enfermeras en habilidades que priorizan la conexión personal con los pacientes. Un ejemplo destacado es la creación del Grupo de Trabajo de Humanización de la Asociación de Enfermería Comunitaria (AEC), que busca fomentar el diálogo y desarrollar estrategias para que la atención comunitaria sea una experiencia más humana y centrada en la persona. Es de vital importancia mantener valores fundamentales en la práctica enfermera: humildad, empatía y respeto por la identidad única de cada paciente. Los cuidados que se brindan deben ir más allá de lo técnico, construyendo relaciones significativas que reconozcan a las personas como lo que realmente son, seres humanos con emociones, preocupaciones y sueños. Con un enfoque en la mejora continua, se propone que la humanización no sea solo un ideal, sino una práctica diaria. Las enfermeras son verdaderos agentes de cambio, y a medida que estos valores se integren en su labor, se reflejará una atención más cálida y cercana, convirtiendo la enfermería en una disciplina que realmente se escribe con H de humanidad. Al integrar la humanización en nuestra atención, estamos contribuyendo a un cuidado más cercano y personalizado, lo que permite que la enfermería se escriba con H de humanidad.At a time when the concept of humanization has become very relevant in the healthcare setting, it is essential to understand that this is not a temporary trend, but a key cornerstone of nursing care. Humanization has become a strategic objective in healthcare, promoting a more empathetic approach that is also more respectful towards the dignity of each person. Since the INSALUD humanization plan was initiated in 1984, several initiatives have been developed with the aim to transform health centres in warmer and more humane spaces. Universities and associations have developed programs and workshops to train nurses in skills prioritizing their personal connection with patients. A prominent example is the creation of the Humanization Work Group by the Association of Community Nursing (ACN), intended to encourage dialogue and develop strategies to turn community care into a more humane and person-centred experience. It is highly important to sustain essential values in nursing practice: humbleness, empathy and respect for the unique identity of each patient. Care offered should go beyond technical matters, and build significant relationships that acknowledge persons as what they really are: human beings with emotions, concerns and dreams. With an approach focused on continuous improvement, humanization is intended to be not only an ideal, but a daily practice. Nurses are real agents of change; and as these values get incorporated into their work, this will translate into a warmer and closer care, and nursing will become a discipline that is really written with an H for Humanity. By integrating humanization into our care, we are contributing to a closer and more personalized type of care, allowing Nursing to be written with an H for Humanity

Generación de modelos 3D del cuerpo humano a partir de imágenes 2D

La reconstrucción 3D del cuerpo humano es un campo cuya utilidad y popularidad ha incrementado estos últimos años. Parte de este incremento en popularidad ha sido especialmente por un campo cuya popularidad ha escalado aún más recientemente, la Inteligencia Artificial. Estos últimos años se han puesto a disposición del público distintos proyectos, como LLMs o IAs generativas que han remarcado las posibilidades que ofrece la IA. En el caso de la reconstrucción 3D de seres humanos, la IA es una herramienta especialmente útil para los retos a los que se enfrenta este tipo de problemas. Dentro del equipo de Tech4Diet he participado en una tarea centrada en hacer una investigación de estos métodos para la generación de modelos 3D de sus pacientes con imágenes 2D obtenidas con cámaras de uso cotidiano. A lo largo de este Trabajo Final de Grado (TFG), se ha hecho un estudio de todos los conocimientos necesarios para entender la naturaleza del problema y se han analizado los métodos existentes para ello, destacando los métodos que utilizan funciones implícitas y/o modelos paramétricos, dos herramientas muy destacadas en este ámbito. Piazzolla Sensitive. City, Territory and Movement

Nuestro ensayo de carácter descriptivo-analítico explora las relaciones que van desde el territorio expresivo hasta nomenclaturas urbanas y metropolitanas. El tango -folklor de la Plata- en sus márgenes cómplices con los ritos migratorios fue institucionalizado en la argentina durante la tercera década del siglo XX. Pese al interés por las tensiones entre lengua y dialecto, pampa y modernización, los gravámenes del texto son los trastornos de sentido y post-representación respecto a ciudades espaciales, territoriales, abstractas e identitarias, donde abunda el comercio interpretativo. Una vez que la época decareana del tango padece una inflexión irreparable, el estancamiento peronista sobre la ciudad musical se hace evidente. En este sentido los efectos de resonancia (régimen sensitivo) de la plástica Piazzolleana, comprende modernidades que se apartan de las estéticas del marco, e introduce la incardinación de las formas. La relación pasado-presente (temporalidades) imputa los límites culturales del nacionalismo sonoro, fortalece el ritmo des-territorializado, evitando el mito popular del republicanismo plebeyo. Por fin, dada la noción de ensamblaje (Deleuze), el texto interroga la "metáfora del nomadismo", centrada en las fusiones de una frontera en movimiento (singular, temporal y transcultural). Desde la fundación del Octeto de Buenos Aires (1955) Piazzolla representa la escenificación de un acontecimiento que busca superar el oscurantismo sonoro del peronismo.Our descriptive-analytical essay explores the relationships ranging from expressive territory to urban and metropolitan nomenclatures. The tango -folklore of La Plata- in its complicit margins with the migratory rites was institutionalized in Argentina during the third decade of the twentieth century. Despite the interest in tensions between language and dialect, pampa and modernization, the gravitas of the text are the disturbances of meaning and post-representation with respect to spatial, territorial, abstract and identitarian cities, where interpretative trade abounds. Once the decarean era of tango suffers an irreparable inflection, the Peronist stagnation on the city musical becomes evident. In this sense the resonance effects (sensitive regime) of the plastic Piazzolliana, includes modernity that deviates from the aesthetics of the frame, and introduces the incardination of forms. The past-present relationship (temporalities) imputes the cultural limits of sound nationalism, strengthens the de-territorialized rhythm, avoiding the popular myth of plebeian republicanism. Finally, given the notion of assembly (Deleuze), the text questions the "metaphor of nomadism", focused on the fusions of a moving border (singular, temporal and transcultural).
