    The influence of façade colour, glazing area and geometric configuration of urban canyon on the spectral characteristics of daylight

    Since the non-image-forming (NIF) effect of daylight on the human circadian system is widely accepted, adequate exposure to daylight is now considered one of the elements of a healthy life. In urban environment, one of the prerequisites for adequately lit indoor spaces is the amount and quality of daylight reaching the window, which is highly dependent on the characteristics of the urban environment. The aim of the study was to determine whether there are correlations between urban density (i.e., distance between buildings, building height), façade surface characteristics (i.e., colour and Window-to-Wall Ratios – WWR) and NIF potential of daylight. The study was conducted on a parametric geometric model of a street canyon covering a wide range of characteristics. Simulation results were interpreted using the Relative Melanopic Efficacy coefficient and Sky View Factor. The results indicate that the colour of the opposite façade can substantially impact the resulting NIF potential, especially for orange-red or blue hues. The results of the study show that this influence for building heights between 3 and 8 storeys becomes significant when the width of the urban canyon is less than 25 m and becomes substantially smaller at WWRs above 30 %

    Mobile phone as evidence in pre-criminal procedure

    Predmet raziskovanja diplomskega dela je mobilni telefon, katerega storilci kaznivih dejanj, uporabljajo pri izvršitvi kaznivih dejanj, podatki na mobilnem telefonu pa pri preiskavi nato služijo kot ključni dokazi. Do vpogleda v podatke, ki so v mobilnem telefonu, ima pravico policija, vendar le na podlagi pisne izjave lastnika mobilnega telefona, da dovoljuje vpogled in zavarovanje podatkov mobilnega telefona. V kolikor lastnik mobilnega telefona ne dovoljuje vpogleda in zavarovanja podatkov, mora policija oziroma tožilstvo pridobiti odredbo od preiskovalnega sodnika, da lahko vpogled in zavarovanje opravi. Drugače je s podatki, ki jih hrani operater na podlagi telefonske številke naročnika, katere lahko policija pridobi le na podlagi pisne odredbe preiskovalnega sodnika, ki je izdana na upravičeno zahtevo državnega tožilstva, in sicer, če so podani razlogi za sum, da je bilo storjeno, da se izvršuje ali da se pripravlja oziroma organizira kaznivo dejanje, za katero se storilec preganja po uradni dolžnosti in je za odkritje tega kaznivega dejanja ali storilca potrebno pridobiti podatke o prometu v elektronskem komunikacijskem omrežju. V diplomskem delu bomo predstavili, kako lahko mobilni telefon oziroma podatki na njem, služijo kot dokaz v predkazenskem postopku, saj storilci kaznivih dejanj s seboj nosijo mobilne telefone in imajo na njih ključne dokaze. Mobilne telefone policija nato v skladu z zakonom zaseže in izvede preiskovalne ukrepe v skladu z zakonom. Analizirali bomo dva praktična primera, ki sta javno dostopna, kjer je uporaba mobilnega telefona pri izvršitvi kaznivih dejanj služila kot ključen dokaz v predkazenskem in kazenskem postopku (Zakon o kazenskem postopku ZKP, 2021).The subject of the thesis research is a mobile phone, which criminals use to commit crimes, and the data on the mobile phone then serve as key evidence during the investigation. The police have the right to inspect the data contained in the mobile phone, but only on the basis of a written statement from the owner of the mobile phone that they allow the inspection and securing of the mobile phone data. If the owner of the mobile phone does not allow the inspection and securing of the data, the police or the prosecutor\u27s office must obtain an order from the investigating judge in order to perform the inspection and securing. It is different with the data stored by the operator based on the telephone number of the subscriber, which the police can only obtain on the basis of a written order of the investigating judge, which is issued at the justified request of the state prosecutor\u27s office, namely if there are reasons for suspecting that it has been committed , that a criminal act is being committed or that a criminal act is being prepared or organized, for which the perpetrator is being prosecuted ex officio, and in order to discover this criminal act or the perpetrator, it is necessary to obtain traffic data in the electronic communication network. In the thesis, we will present how a mobile phone or the data on it can serve as evidence in pre-trial proceedings, since criminals carry mobile phones with them and have key evidence on them. Mobile phones are then confiscated by the police in accordance with the law and investigative measures are carried out in accordance with the law. We will analyze two practical cases that are publicly available, where the use of a mobile phone in the commission of criminal acts served as key evidence in pre-trial and criminal proceedings (Act on Criminal Procedure ZKP, 2021)

    S pomočjo numeričnih simulacij po metodi končnih elementov, izračuna lastnih vrednosti, vzbujanja in izračuna varnostnih faktorjev, nam je v okviru magistrskega dela uspelo medsebojno primerjati in oceniti dve varianti sesalne cevi za olje motorja TCD 3.6 L4. Vrednotenje konceptnih variant je potekalo na podlagi realnih obremenitev, pridobljenih z meritvami med delovanjem motorja. Ugotovili smo, da je nova konceptna varianta ustrezna, saj je bistveno bolj toga kot obstoječa varianta sesalne cevi za olje.Using numerical finite element method simulations, eigenvalue calculations, excitation and safety factors calculations, we have been able to compare and evaluate two variants of the TCD 3.6 L4 engine oil intake pipe. The evaluation of the concept variants was carried out on the basis of realistic loads obtained from measurements during engine operation. The design of the new concept variant was found to be adequate, being significantly more rigid than the existing oil suction pipe variant, which needed to be improved

    Heating and cooling of the Community Health center Domžale with use of shallow geothermal energy

    V diplomskem delu obravnavamo različne možnosti izrabe plitve geotermalne energije za ogrevanje in hlajenje stavbe ter pripravo STV na primeru zdravstvenega doma. Za zagotovitev potrebne energetske oskrbe smo določili predvideno rabo energije za obstoječo stavbo ter za predvideno širitev. Predstavili smo tehnične rešitve za izkoriščanje podzemne vode, izkoriščanje toplote v sklopu gradbenih konstrukcij podzemne garaže in izkoriščanje z geosondami. Ugotovili smo, da bi lahko energetske potrebe pokrili s toplotnimi črpalkami, za rezervo in pokrivanje v času nižjih temperatur pa bi uporabili obstoječi kotel. S tem bi pomembno vplivali na povečanje deleža OVE in zmanjšanje emisij TGP v lokalnem okolju.The thesis includes various possibilities of using shallow geothermal energy for heating and cooling of a building and the preparation of SHW in the case of a health centre. We determined the energy consumption for the existing building and for the planned expansion. We presented technical solutions for the use of underground water, heat exchangers in thermoactive geostuctures and vertical boreholes. We found that the energy needs could be covered with heat pumps, while the existing boiler would be used for reserve and coverage during lower temperatures. This would have a significant impact on increasing the use of RES and energy self-sufficiency

    V diplomski nalogi smo prikazali povezavo med senzorji in spletno stranjo. Njen namen je bil prikazati vidno in nevidno (digitalno) povezavo med samim začetkom (senzorjem), krmilnikom, programom, podatkovno bazo (lokalo in na daljavo povezano podatkovno bazo) ter spletno stranjo. V diplomski nalogi smo opisali tudi vezja, programe in 3d modele. Na začetku diplomske naloge smo kratko opisali osnovo: krmilnike, senzorje in jezike, ki smo jih uporabil pri izvedbi diplomske naloge. Sledi opis vezja, osnovnega delovanja, natančnega delovanja in programov (na primer VirtualStudio, Atom, …) ter opis 3d oblikovanja in tiskanja, prikaz podatkov na spletni strani ter priprav za začetek izvedbe te diplomske naloge.The thesis itself shows the connection between the sensors and the website. The purpose of the thesis is the visible and invisible (digital) connection between the beginning itself (sensor) connected to the controller, the program, the database (local and remote database) and finally the website. In the thesis itself you can find circuits, programs and 3d models. At the beginning of the thesis, the basis is briefly described (controller, sensors and languages that I used in the actual execution of the thesis). Then there\u27s the circuit, basic operation, precise operation, programs (for example VirtualStudio, Atom). Finally, 3d design and printing, how to display the data on the website, and preparations for the actual implementation of this thesis

    V magistrskem delu je opisan postopek konstruiranja preizkuševališča za okvirje koles po standardu ISO 4210-6. Na kratko je opisano področje problematike robnih pogojev v samem standardu. Cilj dela je kompakten model preizkuševališča, ki ima možnost izvajanja vseh petih zahtevanih testov. Iz zahtev standarda in želj potencialnega naročnika je nastal zahtevnik, ki služi kot osnova za nabor delnih rešitev in evalvacijo le-teh. Na koncu dela je predstavljeno zmodelirano preizkuševališče s pomočjo programskega paketa Siemens NX. Poleg opisane rešitve so v zaključku podani predlogi za nadaljnjo izboljšavo tako preizkuševališča kot standarda.This master thesis details the process of constructing a test station for bicycle frames according to the ISO 4210-6 standard. In the beginning, we focused on problematics regarding boundary conditions or lack of them in the standard itself. The main objective of this article is a compact model of test station, which is able to perform all five mandatory tests without flaws. In combining standard demands and customer requirements, we designed a checklist, which serves as a baseline for the collection of partial solutions and later evaluation of those. In the very end, 3D-model built with Siemens NX software is detailed. Apart from the described and modeled solution in the concluding section of the thesis, there are suggestions for further improvement of both test station and standard as well

    Use of an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) and construction of a connection module for use in intralogistics

    V magistrski nalogi smo reševali problem v intralogistiki v podjetju SIJ Ravne Systems. Analizirali smo proces transporta orodja na CNC stroje in proces transporta brusnih segmentov na brusilne stroje. Pri prvem procesu smo izvedli logistično analizo, kjer smo si pri pridobivanju podatkov pomagali s QR-kodami. Pri procesu transporta brusnih segmentov smo podatke pridobili s strani podjetja. Glede na analizo podatkov smo se nato odločili za uporabo AMR in temu primerno tudi sestavili načrt s koraki vse do implementacije AMR v proizvodnjo. Glavna naloga je bila konstruiranje in izdelava modula, ki služi za priklop AMR na regal. Tako modul kot tudi regal smo razvili od ideje pa vse do prototipa.In the master thesis we solved the problem of intralogistics in the company SIJ Ravne Systems. We analysed the process of transporting CNC tools to CNC machines and the process of transporting abrasive segments to grinding machines. In the first process we performed a logistical analysis, where we used QR codes to help obtain data. In the process of transporting abrasive segments, we obtained company data. Based on the data analysis, we decided to use AMR and accordingly developed a plan with steps all the way to the implementation of AMR in production. The main task was to design and manufacture a connection module that serves to connect the AMR to the shelf. From idea to prototype we developed both, a module and a shelf

    Application of UHPLC-HRMS for determination of organic compounds in samples of psychoactive substances and food supplements

    Magistrsko delo predstavlja uporabo tekočinske kromatografije ultra visoke ločljivosti, sklopljene z masno spektrometrijo visoke ločljivosti (angl. ultra high performance liquid chromatography – high resolution mass spectrometry, UHPLC-HRMS) za analizo psihoaktivnih snovi in prehranskih dopolnil. Razvili smo metodo za identifikacijo večjega števila organskih snovi. Za določanje organskih snovi v vzorcih je bila uporabljena kombinacija na novo razvite metode UHPLC-HRMS z metodami infrardeče spektroskopije s Fourierovo transformacijo na oslabljen totalni odboj (angl. attenuated total reflectance Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, ATR-FTIR), tekočinske kromatografije visoke ločljivosti z detektorjem z nizom diod (angl. high performance liquid chromatography with diode aray detector, HPLC-DAD) in plinske kromatografije, sklopljene z masno spektrometrijo (angl. gas chromatography – mass spectrometry, GC-MS), ki jih uporabljajo v Nacionalnem laboratoriju za zdravje, okolje in hrano (NLZOH). Analizirani so bili trije vzorci psihoaktivnih snovi na osnovi heksahidrokanabinola (angl. hexahydrocannabinol, HHC) in 58 vzorcev prehranskih dopolnil. V vzorcih psihoaktivnih snovi smo identificirali štiri različne nove psihoaktivne snovi (NPS), in sicer HHC, heksahidrokanabinol acetat (angl. hexahydrocannabinol acetate, HHC-O), heksahidrokanabiforol (angl. hexahydrocannabiphorol, HHC-P) in hidroksiheksahidrokanabinol (angl hydroxyhexahydrocannabinol, OH-HHC), ter 37 različnih organskih spojin v vzorcih prehranskih dopolnil. Na Evropski center za spremljanje drog in zasvojenosti z drogami (angl. European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction, EMCDDA) smo poročali prvo identifikacijo HHC-O v Sloveniji. Pri analizi vzorcev prehranskih dopolnil so bile ugotovljene nepravilnosti pri 15 % analiziranih vzorcev. Problematični so bili predvsem izdelki, kupljeni na spletu, ki so vsebovali zaviralce fosfodiesteraze tipa 5 (angl. phosphodiesterase type 5, PDE5) in njihove derivate ter anorektike, kot je sibutramin. Razvita metoda predstavlja dobro orodje za analize tako psihoaktivnih snovi, katerih proizvodnja se zelo hitro razvija, kot tudi prehranskih dopolnil, ki so na spletu prosto dostopne vsakomur, vendar lahko vsebujejo zdravju škodljive ali celo življenjsko nevarne snovi. Metoda omogoča identifikacijo velikega števila organskih spojin, z uporabo raztopin standardov pa bi z njo lahko v prihodnosti določali tudi vsebnost teh potencialno nevarnih spojin v vzorcih in tako preprečili morebitne zdravstvene zaplete pri njihovi uporabi.The master\u27s thesis presents the use of ultra high performance liquid chromatography – high resolution mass spectrometry (UHPLC-HRMS) for the analysis of psychoactive substances and food supplements. A method for identification of a wide range of organic substances was developed. A combination of the newly developed UHPLC-HRMS method and National laboratory of health, environment and food\u27s (NLZOH) attenuated total reflectance Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (ATR-FTIR), high performance liquid chromatography with diode aray detector (HPLC-DAD), and gas chromatography – mass spectrometry (GC-MS) methods was used to determine organic substances in the samples. A total of 3 hexahydrocannabinol (HHC) based psychoactive substance samples and 58 food supplement samples were analysed. We identified 4 different new psychoactive substances (NPS) in the samples of psychoactive substances (HHC, hexahydrocannabinol acetate (HHC-O), hexahydrocannabiphorol (HHC-P), and hydroxyhexahydrocannabinol (OH-HHC)) and 37 different organic compounds in the food supplement samples. The first identification of HHC-O in Slovenia was reported to the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA). The analysis of the food supplement samples revealed irregularities in 15 % of the samples. Products purchased online were particularly problematic as they contained phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors and their derivatives, as well as anorectics such as sibutramine. The developed method is a good tool for screening analysis of rapidly evolving psychoactive substances and food supplements, which are freely available online to anyone but may contain harmful or even life-threatening substances. The method allows the identification of a wide range of organic compounds and, by using solutions of standards, could also be used to determine the concentrations of these potentially hazardous compounds in samples, thus preventing potential health complications from their use
