Social Justice in Outdoor Experiential Education: A Literature Analysis of K-12 Outdoor Education Programs in the United States
Historically, the field of outdoor experiential education (OEE) has been exclusionary and has primarily served white middle- and upper-middle class male populations. Scholars have called for research on how to address issues of social justice in the field for decades, and leaders are finally making steps toward becoming more inclusive. Through a secondary analysis of empirical studies on OEE, this paper examines how the field has modified its focus towards minority populations in K-12 OEE programs in the United States and provides recommendations for practitioners of OEE. There is evidence of an increase in studies on how OEE is perceived by minorities and how its impacts have affected different communities over the last 40 years. The understanding of attitudes and perceptions of OEE has changed with the introduction of new concepts regarding health and wellbeing tied to outdoor experiences as well as social justice
Pengukuran Efektivitas Kinerja Excavator pada Pengupasan Overburden (OB) Menggunakan Metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE): Studi Kasus di Pit 7 PT XYZ Kintap, Kalimantan Selatan
Based on production data of overburden (OB) stripping at Pit 7 PT XYZ in February 2019, productivity of the excavators doesn’t reach the desired target. To find out the potential for increased productivity and effectiveness of using excavators, it’s necessary to do an analysis using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method. OEE is a performance measurement tool that has the ability to identify the root of the problem and it’s causative factors so that improvement efforts are more focused. The parameters used in the calculation of OEE value are: Availability, Utilization, and Productivity Index. Based on the result of data processing, the OEE value were 56,00% for excavator EX2313 and 34,19% for excavator EX2325. This means that the OEE value hasn’t been able to meet the world class standard OEE value in medium category, namely 60%. Improvement are made by reducing lost work time but obstacles can be avoided, so as to increase utilization. The proposed improvement provide increased in the OEE value were 12,73% for excavator EX2313 and 11,61% for excavator EX2325. This shows that the OEE value of PC800 with number EX2313 reaches the world class standard in medium category or productivity can be considered reasonable, namely 68,73%. Meanwhile, the OEE value of PC800 with number EX2325 still doesn’t reach the world class standard in medium category, namely 45,80%.Berdasarkan data produksi pengupasan overburden (OB) di Pit 7 PT XYZ pada Februari 2019, produktivitas excavator belum mencapai target yang diinginkan. Untuk mengetahui potensi peningkatan produktivitas dan efektivitas dari penggunaan excavator, perlu dilakukan analisis menggunakan metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). OEE merupakan suatu alat pengukur performansi yang memiliki kemampuan untuk mengidentifikasi akar permasalahan dan faktor penyebabnya agar upaya perbaikan lebih terarah. Parameter yang digunakan dalam perhitungan nilai OEE, yaitu: Availability, Utilization,  dan Productivity Index. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data, diperoleh nilai OEE sebesar 56,00% untuk excavator EX2313 dan 34,19% untuk excavator EX2325. Artinya, nilai OEE tersebut belum dapat memenuhi nilai OEE standar kelas dunia kategori sedang, yaitu 60%. Perbaikan dilakukan dengan cara menekan waktu kerja yang hilang namun hambatan dapat dihindari, sehingga dapat meningkatkan utilization. Usulan perbaikan memberikan peningkatan nilai OEE sebesar 12,73% untuk excavator EX2313 dan 11,61% untuk excavator EX2325. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa nilai OEE dari PC800 dengan nomor EX2313 mencapai standar kelas dunia kategori sedang atau produktivitas dapat dianggap wajar, yaitu 68,73%. Sedangkan nilai OEE dari PC800 dengan nomor EX2325 masih belum mencapai standar kelas dunia kategori sedang, yaitu 45,80%
Optimizing Digging Equipment Productivity Using Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) Method in Coal Overburden Mining Activities
Coal companies have an overburden stripping production target of 95,000 bcm in January 2022, while the realization of production with the Sumitomo SH 350 LHD excavator and Hitachi Zaxis 350 H excavator is only 77,000 bcm or 82% of the production target. The purpose of this study was to obtain an analysis of the productivity of the Sumitomo SH 350 LHD Excavator (40) and Hitachi Zaxis 350 H Excavator (31) in the overburden stripping activity in January 2022, analyze the obstacle factors that caused the available working hours to be reduced by using the Fishbone diagram method, get an analysis of the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) value of the Sumitomo SH 350 LHD Excavator (40) and Hitachi Zaxis 350 H (31) Excavator before being optimized, and get the analysis and productivity of the Sumitomo SH 350 LHD Excavator (40) and the Hitachi Zaxis 350 H Excavator (31) which has been optimized with the implementation of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to achieve the overburden stripping production target. After analysis and improvement efforts, the total overburden stripping production was 149,000 bcm, which means that it has reached the target and even exceeded the production target of 95,000 bcm/month with the OEE value of the digging equipment of 41% and 43%, respectively. Relationship between lean manufacturing tools and their sustainable economic benefits.
Traditionally, the isolated relationship of total preventive maintenance (TPM), quick setup (QS), overall equipment effec- tiveness (OEE), and one-piece flow (OPF) with economic sustainability (ESU) has been investigated; however, these lean manufacturing (LM) tools are implemented together into production systems, and traditional research does not report their relationships and interactions. To contribute to this gap, this paper integrates all those variables in a structural equation model (SEM), which are related by seven hypotheses that are validated using the partial least squares (PLS) technique using information from 176 responses to a questionnaire applied to the Mexican maquiladora industry. Additionally, a sensitivity analysis has been carried out to determine the probability of occurrence at high and low implementation levels for all variables when they occur in isolation, jointly and conditionally. Findings indicate that TPM is a precursor of QS and OEE, while QS is a precursor of OEE and OPF, OEE is a precursor of OPF and ESU, but also OPF is a precursor of ESU. The sensitivity analysis indicates that low levels of TPM are a risk for reaching adequate levels of OEE and QC, while low levels in OEE and OPF are a risk for reaching adequate ESU levels
Perhitungan Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) untuk Mengetahui Efektivitas Mesin Produksi di PT. Z
PT. Z is a company that produces all packaging needs. The problems that exist in the production process are frequent occurrence of breakdowns on machines which result in decreased productivity. This study aims to calculate the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) value, analyze the six big losses factors, and analyze the root causes of problems from the Imprabox Matt Floor production process. From the results of the calculations that have been done, it is found that the OEE value of the Marking Process is 85.2%, Material Cutting is 68.2%, Material Printing is 75.8%, Printing is 47.9%, Welding Process is 36.6%, Assembly is 74.9% , Process Screw 81.3%. Only the marking process meets World Class OEE with an OEE value of 85.2%, and the smallest OEE value of all production processes is found in the welding process with an OEE value of 36.6%. The results of the Six Big Losses analysis and the root causes of the problem found that the lack of understanding of employees in operating machines is one of the main causes of the low OEE score. From these problems, proposed improvements in an effort to increase OEE are by conducting operator training, scheduling preventive maintenance, making machine checksheets, standardizing the welding process, and checking the machine periodically.

Sistem Penghitung Nilai Efektivitas Mesin Forming Menggunakan Metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness
Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) adalah metode yang digunakan untuk menghitung nilai efektivitas dari sebuah mesin atau peralatan. Jika nilai OEE ≥ 85%, maka mesin dapat dikatakan efektif. Jika nilai OEE < 85%, maka mesin tidak efektif dan akan dilakukan analisis untuk mencari akar permasalahan, di antaranya menggunakan metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Penelitian ini bertujuan membuat sistem penghitung nilai efektivitas mesin forming menggunakan metode OEE. Limit switch dan Arduino UNO digunakan untuk mengambil data output dari mesin, seperti jumlah produksi, total durasi kerja mesin, dan total durasi mesin berhenti. Data diolah menggunakan Microsoft Visual Studio (C#) dan disimpan dalam database sehingga dapat ditampilkan dalam bentuk laporan bulanan menggunakan Crystal Report. Pengujian lapangan sistem ini dilaksanakan untuk menghitung OEE pada mesin die form. Berdasarkan hasil dari pengujian tersebut, sistem penghitung ini berfungsi dengan baik dalam menghitung OEE mesin die form tersebut, yang dalam hal ini berada dalam kisaran 59,05% s.d 97,17% (efektivitas di bawah nilai World class standard)
Analisa Performance Mesin Screw Press Menggunakan Metoda Overall Equipment Effectiveness (Studi Kasus: PTPN V Sei Pagar)
The Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is one of the methods of maintenance activities, which aim to preserve and maintain the quality of the equipment or machinery. The OEE in maintenance activities may include measuring the level of availability, level of performance, and level of quality of the machines to produce a product. This research aims to analyze the performance of machine using OEE method (case study: the machine screw press in PTPN V Sei Pagar). The research was carried out on screw press machine in the PTPN V Sei Pagar. The company is engaged in palm oil processing industry that produces crude palm oil and kernel. The research method used the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) approach to analyze the value of OEE based on the Statistic Software of SPSS 21. Analysis result over a period of eight weeks of OEE values were obtained on a screw press,which was 47.3%. The OEE values of the screw press machine were still below the standard of OEE\u27s world class, which was over 85.4%. Based on analyzing of the value of six big losses that was known as the affecting factor of the low value of the OEE on the screw press machine, that was found the very significant losses on the set up and adjustment losses. The value of OEE on the set up and adjustment losses of the screw press was 45.6%. Using cause and effect diagram was obtained the root causes of the low value of OEE due to very high the schedule of stand by the machine. By using SPSS 21 software proved that each of six big losses factors have a relationship and affect the value of OEE with significant value under 0.05
PENDEKATAN OVERALL EQUIPMENT EFFECTIVENESS (OEE) DAN SIX BIG LOSSES DALAM MENGUKUR PRODUKTIVITAS MESIN SHEETER DI PT. X
PT. X is a company engaged in the business of processing high quality rubber, namely RSS products. The objectives to be achieved are to determine the productivity level of the sheeter machine using the OEE method and identify the Six Big Losess factor based on the Pareto diagram. The results of the 2020 analysis of the sheeter machine have an OEE value of 86.50%, while in 2021 it has an OEE value of 91.15%, ideal conditions of 85% (Japan Institute Of Plant Maintenance For Performance Ratio). In the calculation of Six Big Losses, an analysis that has the potential to reduce productivity from the OEE value and becomes a top priority for the company to eliminate is the Reduced Speed Losses factor of 99.25 Hours or 60.69% in 2020 and Idling And Minor Stoppages of 48.08 Hours or 47.74 in 2021.
