    本文从提高表面拉曼光谱检测灵敏度和空间分辨率两个方面的发展叙述了针尖增强拉曼光谱的原理、方法、特点及最新进展。利用单晶电极上单分子层吸附物种的TERS研究和单壁碳纳米管的TERS成像例证了TERS所具有的高检测灵敏度和高空间分辨率。介绍了TERS理论的最新研究进展,并对TERS的应用前景做了预测。The principle, technique, the features and the most recent development of Tip-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (TERS) were introduced from the aspects of how to improve the detection sensitivity and the spatial resolution of Raman spectroscopy. The high sensitivity of TERS was demonstrated using the molecular adsorption on single crystal surfaces and the high spatial resolution was demonstrated by imaging single-wall carbon nanotubes. The present status of the theoretical aspect of TERS was also introduced.     On the request of Prof. Shi-Gang Sun, Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Electrochemistry, I served as the guest editor for this International Special Issue on Current Electrochemistry.   The Journal of Electrochemistry was founded in 1995 associated to the Chinese Chemical Society just before the 46th Annual meeting of the International Society of Electrochemistry (ISE). Prof. Zhao-Wu Tian was the founder of the journal and had been serving as the Editor-in-Chief until 2010. The journal is known for high quality scientific papers related to the electrochemical science, techniques and engineering, and is well-known in Electrochemistry Community in China. However, the journal is less distributed internationally, mainly due to the language barrier.   From 2010, the editorial office constructed a very professional editorial and online journal system, in both Chinese and English version. The English abstract section is significantly expanded so that the main points and progresses reported by the published papers could be understood by readers of the whole scientific community.   To further promote the impact of the journal in the international electrochemistry field, we decided to organize this international special issue. We invited some internationally known electrochemists from either abroad or domestic, that have been studying, working in Xiamen University or have been collaborating with or visiting Xiamen University, a very dynamic electrochemistry center in China.     基于离子修饰簇模型的单分子结的拉曼光谱-电导关联性的理论研究

    在分子电子学中,金属电极-分子-金属电极分子结的单分子电导性质强烈依赖于分子锚定基团和电极的成键性质.然而其成键性质难以在室温下获得.前期本课题组结合钓鱼模式针尖增强拉曼光谱(FM-TERS)和电导测量联用系统,在室温下同时获得单分子的拉曼光谱和电导值,进而发现了单分子电导值与拉曼强度随偏压变化同增同减的关联现象.本文尝试发展一种离子修正的簇模型并计算不同偏压下模型分子4-4′联吡啶(BPy)的分子电导和拉曼光谱,再现实验观察到的关联现象.进一步基于最高占据轨道和最低非占据轨道近似的两能级模型,从理论上推导出Au-BPy-Au分子结中单分子电导和单分子拉曼光谱的关联性函数,从而揭示了这种关联性的内在物理化学本质.国家自然科学基金(编号:21403179,21533006,21621091,21727807);;国家重点基础研究发展计划(编号:2015CB932300)资助项

    Surface-enhanced Raman Spectroscopy and Plasmon-Assisted Photocatalysis of p-Aminothiophenol

    对氨基苯硫酚(PATP)是表面增强拉曼光谱(SErS)研究中最重要的探针分子之一.PATP吸附体系具有非常特征且异常强的SErS信号,但人们对其SErS信号的理解仍存在较大争议.本文结合文献,总结了我们为了理解PATP分子异常的SErS光谱所开展的系统的理论和实验工作.首先介绍PATP的SErS增强机理方面开展的理论工作,研究表明PATP分子的异常SErS信号不是来自PATP分子本身,而是来自其表面催化偶联反应产物二巯基偶氮苯(dMAb).通过实验和dMAb合成两个方面,验证了dMAb是异常SErS信号的根源.其次总结了各种实验条件对PATP转化为dMAb的影响,并从实验和理论两个角度探讨PATP的表面催化偶联反应机理.最后,通过对PATP体系的SErS和等离激元增强化学反应的总结,展望表面等离激元增强化学反应的未来发展方向.p-Aminothiophenol(PATP) is one of the most important probe molecules in surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy(SERS).Adsorbed PATP exhibits very unique and abnormally intense SERS signals.However, the understanding toward the abnormal SERS signals is still in debate.In this review, we overview our theoretical and experimental studies to understand the abnormal SERS of PATP.We first introduce the theoretical investigation on the SERS enhancement mechanism of PATP.The theoretical study shows that the abnormal SERS signals of PATP are not from PATP itself but arise from its surface catalytic coupling product p,p'-dimercaptoazobenzene(DMAB).The assumption is supported by carefully designed experiments of PATP and the SERS signal of the synthesized DMAB molecule.Then, we summarize the experimental factors that influence the photochemical conversion of PATP to DMAB on the surfaces of metal nanostructures.We then explore the reaction mechanisms for the surface catalytic coupling reaction of PATP in both experimental and theoretical aspects.Finally, we proposed the further direction of surface plasmon enhanced chemical reaction on the basis of our systematically studies of SERS and plasmon photocatalysis of PATP
