Kearifan Sosiokultural: Hulu Moderasi Beragama Pesantren Bersama Masyarakat Adat Di Kalimantan Timur

AbstractPesantren is a social resource is a cultural maintenance in the community. The linkage of pesantren in the role of society gives birth to ideological and historical continuity with the community. PPKP Ribathul Khail is the oldest Islamic boarding school in Tenggarong City, Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan Province, which lives with the indigenous people of Kutai Kraton, which is identical with the dimensions of belief, traditional rituals, and cultural expression. In its religious reality, PPKP Ribathul Khail is faced with the choice of sowing moderate religious values, tolerance within the framework of pluralism, and being at the forefront of improving the quality of life of the community through Islamic education activities carried out. His acceptance of the Kutai Kraton Ethnic in traditional rituals manifests his tolerance and moderation attitude that is present because of the view of sociocultural wisdom. This paper is the result of field research that attempts to present data on the sociocultural wisdom of pesantren as the upstream of religious moderation and its various dynamics to create a sustainable relationship with the indigenous people of Kutai Kraton in East Kalimantan.Keywords: Sociocultural Wisdom, Religious Moderation, Indigenous Peoples of Kutai Kraton AbstrakPesantren sebagai sumberdaya sosial menjadi pemelihara budaya di masyarakat. Keterkaitan pesantren dalam peranan kemasyarakatan melahirkan kesinambungan ideologi dan historis bersama masyarakat. PPKP Ribathul Khail adalah pesantren tertua di Kota Tenggarong, Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara, Provinsi Kalimantan Timur, yang hidup bersama masyarakat adat Kutai Kraton, yang identik dengan dimensi kepercayaan, ritual adat, dan ekspresi berbudaya. Dalam realitas keberagamaannya, PPKP Ribathul Khail dihadapkan dengan pilihan mampu menyemai nilai-nilai keberagamaan yang moderat, bertoleransi dalam bingkai kemajemukan, serta menjadi garda terdepan dalam meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat melalui kegiatan pendidikan Islam yang dilakukan. Penerimaannya terhadap Etnis Kutai Kraton dalam ritual adat, merupakan perwujudan sikap toleransi dan moderatnya yang hadir karena pandangan kearifan sosiokutural. Tulisan ini adalah hasil penelitian lapangan yang berupaya memaparkan data tentang kearifan sosiokultural pesantren sebagai hulu moderasi beragama, dan berbagai dinamikanya untuk menciptakan kesinambungan relasinya dengan masyarakat adat Kutai Kraton di Kalimantan Timur.Kata Kunci: Kearifan Sosiokultural, Moderasi Beragama, Masyarakat Adat Kutai Krato

The Idea of Informal-Based Social Education in Indonesian Islamic Boarding Schools

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect that open, distance, and technology-based informal or non-formal learning has on the growth of students who had previously attended an Islamic boarding school. This perspective originates from the fact that it is anticipated that the community-based learning approach will comprise between 75 and 90 percent of his life once he completes his education at an Islamic boarding school. Nevertheless, education is not simply mirrored accurately in the learning literature; rather, it must be desire-driven and contain future business skills. The library research technique is what was used for the research for this study, and it was chosen on the basis of our observations of the current education system in Indonesia. This is done to ensure that the education that children get in Islamic Boarding Schools is not solely focused on receiving a formal or certified education, but also places an emphasis on the students' excellent accomplishments. The findings of this study will ultimately establish the feasibility of improved outcomes, as well as the quality of such outcomes, and will generate favorable effects

ABSTRAK Membaca merupakan salah satu dari empat keterampilan berbahasa. Pengajaran keterampilan berbahasa bertujuan untuk membekali siswa dengan informasi dan pengetahuan penting yang diperlukan siswa dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan. Dan jelaslah bahwa tidak mungkin mencapai berbagai informasi dan pengetahuan tanpa membaca, oleh karena itu melatih kemampuan membaca yang baik sangatlah penting. Terkait dengan hal ini, pemilihan metode pengajaran yang baik dalam mengajarkan keterampilan membaca dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam memahami dan memperoleh berbagai ilmu pengetahuan, di samping itu juga membuat siswa gemar membaca. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menerapkan metode diskusi-lomba dalam pengajaran keterampilan membaca. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini yaitu: ١. Sejauh manakah tingkat efektivitas penggunaan metode diskusi-lomba untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa kelas II Jurusan IPA MA Al Ma’arif Singosari Malang dalam memahami kosa kata bahasa Arab?, ٢. Sejauh manakah tingkat efektivitas penggunaan metode diskusi-lomba untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa kelas II Jurusan IPA MA Al Ma’arif Singosari Malang dalam memahami pengetahuan yang terkandung dalam kalimat?, ٣. Sejauh manakah tingkat efektivitas penggunaan metode diskusi-lomba untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa kelas II Jurusan IPA MA Al Ma’arif Singosari Malang dalam memahami ide pokok pikiran yang terkandung dalam paragraf? Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana tingkat efektivitas penggunaan metode diskusi-lomba untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa kelas II Jurusan IPA MA Al Ma’arif Singosari Malang dalam memahami kosa kata bahasa Arab, dalam memahami pengetahuan yang terkandung dalam kalimat, dan dalam memahami ide pokok pikiran yang terkandung dalam paragraf. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen dengan desain pretest dan posttest untuk kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Adapun instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah panduan observasi, panduan wawancara, angket dan tes. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bahwa nilai t-hitung: ١٠،١٨, lebih besar dari nilai t-table pada taraf ١٪ yaitu ٢،٦٤ dan lebih besar dari taraf ٥٪ yaitu ١،٩٩. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis penelitian ini diterima. Kesimpulannya bahwa penggunaan metode diskusi-lomba terbukti efektif untuk Meningkatkan kemampuan siswa kelas II Jurusan IPA MA Al Ma’arif Singosari Malang dalam memahami kosakata bahasa Arab, memahami ilmu pengetahuan yang terkandung dalam kalimat dan dalam memahami ide pokok pikiran yang terkandung dalam paragraf. ABSTRACT Reading is one of four language skills. The instruction of language skills is aimed to supply students with important information and knowledge which they need in many aspects of life. It’s clearly impossible to get information without reading. Therefore, reinforcing reading skills is very important. Related to this point, choosing a suitable instructional method in teaching reading skill may improve students’ competence in understanding and getting information. In this research, the researcher applies discussion-competition method in teaching reading skills. The research problems are: ١) how is the effectiveness of using the discussion-competition method to upgrade the competence of second grade science-class students of Islamic Senior High School al Ma’arif Singosari Malang in vocabulary understanding?, ٢) how is the effectiveness of using the discussion- competition method to upgrade the competence of second grade science-class students of Islamic Senior High School al-Ma’arif Singosari Malang in the sentences understanding?, ٣) how is the effectiveness of using the discussion- competition method to upgrade the competence of second grade science-class students of Islamic Senior High School al-Ma’arif Singosari Malang in understanding the main idea of the paraghraf?. This research is experimental research with pretest-posttest design for experiment and control groups. It has qualitative-quantitative approach and uses four instruments: observation, interview, questionnaire, and test. The research findings show that t-test value: ١٠،١٨ higher than t-table value at ١٪ that is ٢،٦٤ and higher than t-table value at ٥٪ that is ١،٩٩, it means the hypothesis of this reseach is accepted. So, the conclusion is that the use of discussion-competition method is effective to upgrade the competence of second grade science-class students of Islamic Senior High School “Al-Ma’arif” Singosari Malang in understanding the vocabularies, the sentences, and the main idea of the paraghraf
