Three New-naturalized Plants in Taiwan

Naturalization of three alien plants: Clinopodium brownei (Lamiaceae), Neptunia pubescens (Fabaceae) and Praxelis pauciflora (Asteraceae) in Taiwan were reported here. Description, line-drawing and relative information of these plants were presented, too

Pectis L. (Asteraceae), a Newly Recorded Genus to the Flora of Taiwan

We document a new-record genus to the flora of Taiwan: Pectis L. (Asteraceae) and its member, P. prostrata Cav. This alien plant, which is native to Tropical America, has been naturalized at riverbank and grasslands in southern Taiwan locally. A taxonomic treatment, an illustration and color photo from the wild were provided to aid in identification of this alien Asteraceae plant

Stemodia L. (Scrophulariaceae), a Newly Naturalized Genus in Taiwan

Stemodia verticillata (Mill.) Hassl. (Scrophulariaceae) was found in the lowlands of northern Taiwan. This represents a new naturalization not only for this species but also for the genus on this island. A taxonomic account of S. verticillata is treated in this study.
