Työn tuloksia voidaan käyttää yleisellä tasolla ohjaamaan rakennustyömaiden kosteudenhallintaa, sillä tulosten sisältö on yleisellä tasolla ohjaavaa tietoa. Työn tuloksia voidaan yleistää suhteellisen hyvin, sillä rakennustyömaiden kosteudenhallintaan liittyvät seikat ovat yleisesti esiintyviä, vaikka kosteuteen liittyvät ongelmat rakentamisessa ovat tapauskohtaisia.Moisture control of building sites. Abstract. The aim of bachelor’s thesis was to review the principles of moisture control in building sites and the prevention schemes of moisture damages in buildings during the construction. The thesis reviewed the Finnish building legislation and went through the principles of building sites’ moisture control, the typical causes of moisture damages in building sites and parts of building process that can influence the moisture control process. It is possible to influence the building sites’ moisture control during the buildings’ planning process and construction phase. The most significant ways to affect building sites’ moisture control are the planning of moisture control and aim of dry construction. It is also important to try to prevent the moisture damages and the risks that may cause moisture damages to the building during the construction. The results of the thesis can be widely applied to develop construction site management practices. It should be noted that the moisture issues of the buildings usually occur and are determined on case-by-case basis, but there are some universal issues in moisture control which can occur more frequent in construction

Multifrequency Observations of the Gamma-Ray Blazar 3C 279 in Low-State during Integral AO-1

We report first results of a multifrequency campaign from radio to hard X-ray energies of the prominent gamma-ray blazar 3C 279 during the first year of the INTEGRAL mission. The variable blazar was found at a low activity level, but was detected by all participating instruments. Subsequently a multifrequency spectrum could be compiled. The individual measurements as well as the compiled multifrequency spectrum are presented. In addition, this 2003 broadband spectrum is compared to one measured in 1999 during a high activity period of 3C 279.Comment: 4 pages including 6 figures, to appear in: 'Proc. of the 5th INTEGRAL Workshop', ESA SP-552, in pres

Probing Anomalous Wtb Coupling via Single Top Production at TeV Energy γ\gamma e Colliders

Results of complete tree level calculations of the single top production reaction γeνtˉb\gamma e \to \nu \bar{t} b at the Next Linear Collider, including the contribution of anomalous operators to the Wtb coupling are presented. The sensitivity for probing the structure of the Wtb coupling in a model independent way is analyzed and found to be significantly higher than for comparable measurements at the Tevatron.Comment: 10 Latex pages including 1 ps-figure and 3 eps-figure
