    The title compound, C17H16ClN5·C3H7NO, was prepared by reaction of p-toluidine with 2,4,6-trichloro-1,3,5-triazine at room temperature. The dihedral angles between the triazine ring and the pendant rings are 3.61 (12) and 53.11 (12)°. An intra­molecular C—H⋯N inter­action occurs. The packing is stabilized by N—H⋯N and N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds and C—H⋯π and π–π [centroid–centroid distance = 3.763 (1) Å] inter­actions

    Exploratory Key Nodes in the Inventor-author Knowledge Diffusion Network

    This paper aims to mine the key nodes in the process of knowledge flow from literatures of science and technology journals to technology patents on the community level. Based on the citation of technological patents to literatures of scientific journals and the cooperation among the researchers, this paper builds the knowledge flow network from the angle of spatial dimension. Then employing the extensity centrality-Newman and the commonly used degree indexes, this paper excavates and analyses the nodes which occupy important positions among communities in the knowledge flow network. After that, this paper puts forward suggestions on how to make full use of the key nodes’ role of bridge to promote knowledge flow from literatures of science and technology journals to technology patents

    Pseudo-Phase Transitions of Ising and Baxter-Wu Models in Two-Dimensional Finite-Size Lattices

    This article offers a detailed analysis of pseudo-phase transitions of Ising and Baxter-Wu models in two-dimensional finite-size lattices. We carry out Wang Landau sampling to obtain the density of states. Using microcanonical inflection point analysis with microcanonical entropy, we obtain the order of the psuedo-phase transitions in the models. The microcanonical analysis results of the second-order transition for the Ising model and the first-order transition for the Baxter-Wu model are consistent with the traditional canonical results. In addition, the third-order transitions are found in both models, implying the universality of higher-order phase transitions.Comment: 13 pages, 5 figure

    Correlation between mobile phone addiction tendency and its related risk factor among Chinese college students: A cross-sectional study

    Purpose: Mobile phone addiction prevalence is a global concern which has attracted great attention. It is now considered that excessive mobile phone usage is associated with potentially harmful and/or disturbing behaviors. The present study was aimed at exploring the current situation and related factors of mobile phone addiction tendency and providing a scientific suggestion for its prevention among college students. Methods: A cross-sectional study was applied for stratified cluster random sampling among college students, including five survey tools: the basic information questionnaire, UCLA loneliness scale, college students’ interpersonal comprehensive diagnostic scale, the Pittsburgh sleep quality index scale and mobile phone addiction tendency scale (MPATS). SPSS v 17.0 statistical tool was applied to analyze data from the survey. Results: A total of 760 questionnaires were administered of which 735 questionnaires were retrieved and the valid questionnaires were 730. Classification of mobile phone addiction tendency has statistical significance with grade. Also, classification of loneliness has statistical significance with major, grade and home address. Furthermore, classification of interpersonal relationship has statistical significance with romance status and grade. Additionally, classification of MPATS was positively correlated with classification of UCLA loneliness scale, Pittsburgh sleep quality index scale and interpersonal relationship scale. Interpersonal relationship, sleep quality, and loneliness were linearly correlated with mobile phone addiction tendency. Conclusion: Grade, interpersonal relationship, sleep quality and loneliness were positively correlated with mobile phone addiction tendency, which are the associated risk factors. Therefore, concerns and interventions are required to decrease the risk factor for the sake of college students’ health

    The precursor of the critical transitions in majority vote model with the noise feedback from the vote layer

    In this paper, we investigate phase transitions in the Majority-Vote model coupled with noise layers of different structures. We examine the Square lattice and Random-regular networks, as well as their combinations, for both vote layers and noise layers. Our findings reveal the presence of independent third-order phase transitions in all cases, and dependent third-order transitions when critical transitions occur. This suggests that dependent third-order transitions may serve as precursors to critical transitions in non-equilibrium systems. Furthermore, we observe that when the structure of the vote layers is local, the coupling between the vote layer and the noise layer leads to the absence of critical phenomena.Comment: 8 pages, 10 figure
